Visiting on vacation and needed a nail place ASAP. I messaged on Facebook prior to opening to see if I could get in the first appointment. They were able to take me right away! The girl spent a lot of time ensuring my nails were perfect. The polish itself is cheap unless you ask for OPI, but the actual pedicure was excellent. We are visiting here for a family reunion so we just did a walk in visit. Luckily they were available to do two pedicures. Mine was really good and very detailed.. he took his time cleaning my cuticles and giving the massage. My fiancee's pedicure (first time with me) seemed rushed. I noticed that the extra scrub I received was not given to him. Afterwards you can still see dry skin that could have been removed and you can feel it too. So I want impressed with her work but they guy that took care of me did wonderful. Also, the message chairs are the best I've sat in. It is $30 for the spa pedicure.. I think that is the cheapest one. Soooo it is a bit more expensive than my normal but I did enjoy it:) read more

My sisters and I were due for fill ins while on vacation and this was close so we chose it. It's the typical nail place in a shopping area. The owner, her son, and her husband work there. The husband didn't seem overly friendly. Maybe it was a language barrier? She was ok. So spoke English well. We were there two hours so they are relatively slow. The husband only does pedis. The son helps file down and removed polish. They went a bit deep on two of my natural nails. The nails look really good and the fill was reasonably priced at $15. Just make an appt if you can. .. or don't go if you're in any sort of hurry. read more

I was visiting from out of town and came across Nails At the Beach. No appointment needed all I did was walk in and they sat me down right away. She started immediately and did not force any extra expenses nor did she rush. I got a full set of gel acrylics ($45) and an eyebrow waxing($10). She did my eyebrows like I like them despite me being a first time customer. I was in and out in under an hour and a half. Inside was basic nothing special and staff was polite and clear about prices. Although, since there seemed to be only 4 people working at the time I can imagine if I had come at a more peak hour there would have been a wait which is likely why they have a sign that says appointments recommended! read more

Tried for days to get my feet done in my home town and couldn't get in. Decided to wait until we got to beach and find a salon. This place was .7 miles from our hotel and they were great! Dad did my feet and son did my husband's. The spa pedi was $30 and it was awesome. Got out in-grown nails and made my heels super soft. Mom done a great job painting my toes too. They overall did okay. The lady was very nice, the other man was very quiet and didn't talk at all. They did okay on the nails they definitely aren't perfect but there ok! Would recommend if you need a quick place to go but there's definitely better places around. read more

Tried to cut down my toenail that wasn't even grown out, would not treat my calluses properly and made one of my toes bleed while clipping my cuticles. We got right in but there was only one person who could do nails and all three of my girls wanted to get their nails done. There were two other people who could do pedicures and my husband and I both wanted pedicures. Both people did an amazing job on our pedicures! However my husband and I were both finished and she was still working on the girls. One of my daughters opted not to get her nails done because we had already been there so long and I decided not to get a fill in either. She did do a great job on their nails but she definitely needs more employees who are trained to do nails. read more

I just happened to visit this shop because I broke two nails while vacationing at Myrtle Beach. I wish that I had chosen another place. Today is my birthday and I planned on getting several things done, including a nail repair, and polish change on both my hands and feet. Once I set in the chair, Titi told me that it would be $15 to repair my two nails due to their length. I also wanted a polish change with gel polish. The board listed with pricing shows $15 for gel polish. Titi told me that it would be an additional $5 yet again due to my length. My nails are long but nothing crazy. After finding out pricing I decided I only wanted my two nails repaired. Titi was rude and deliberately did a poor job on my nails. The two that were repaired are noticeably longer than the rest and even after I brought it to Titis attention, she said they were fine. I paid her for a service, I wanted them done correctly. Maybe she felt that she could get over because i was a tourist. Needless to say I will never be back. read more

Very wonderful place, went in on a Tuesday so I was pretty much the only person there. Spend the little bit extra and get the deluxe pedicure! Trust me it is worth it!! I chose the green tea aroma. You get your choice in your water, then you get a exfoliate, mud mask, and lastly a lotion. I would say it lasted (excluding the nail painting) an hour. read more

I had to go back the next day and demand my money back...when I went to another (much better) salon they had to remove my nails...they were already lifting the next day!!! I should have read the reviews before going to this place. As mentioned this place is very slow, which I didn't mind. It's a family business. I had a manicure and pedicure. I thought the owner (father) was very nice. The son was very nice and careful, he was the best! The brother of the wife (long nails) was not good at all. He was rushed and didn't do a good job. I just needed to get out of there otherwise I would have asked for him to re-paint my nails. I never been to a nail place where everybody in that place works on you. There were a few people waiting and some left because the wait was long. You do not need to make an appointment. read more

While visiting at Myrtle Beach, decided on pedicures. I read reviews and chose Nails at the Beach based on reviews. This is a family owned salon, and the Mom CeeCee answered my call and gave me appointments for both myself and daughter at the desired time. We arrived and no wait. VERY CLEAN. Each of the massage chairs with foot baths had a disposable liner in it so it had clean water in a clean bath for each time, and after removing the liner I watched them still scrub the basin. My pedicure was done by their college aged son Bobby, and he was very good at it, and opened up sealed clean instrument that were cleaned under ultraviolet light. His father did my daughter's pedicure, but Bobby does the painting. He is very thorough and did a great job. The chairs massage all up and down, even butt and thighs. Cute: the theme nails at the beach is displayed with shells on the top of the pens in the checkout pen jar, and on the beach mural on the wall, with glued on shells. There are several pedicure levels. The cheapest one is the SPA Pedicure $30. Parking right outside the door. read more

The place seemed nice. The staff didn't speak much. Although the one girl who did speak English was very nice and very conversational. She did my pedi, but another woman did the mani. The pedi was alright, but nothing to write home about. And I was thoroughly unimpressed with the mani! The price was kinda high. But I'm from NY and used to more competitive prices. I'm used to HALF the price as what we paid here. However, in other parts of the country I have found similar pricing as here. Perhaps it's just more availability in NY that allows them to do it for less?! Which is strange because usually everything is more expensive in NY than anywhere else lol. The most AMAZING part of this visit was the chairs though!!!! Massaging not only the back, but also the legs and butt. It was amazing! I've never been to a place that had the bottom half of the chair also massaging. That part was fantastic! In fact my friend that had a knot under her shoulder blade which most people cannot even get worked out and this chair made it vanish! She was shocked and so happy! read more
