I called…read moreyesterday because I needed a repair on a lifting nail and wanted to request Wendy since she's my preferred technician. I was disappointed by the response I received from Andrew. I understand if Wendy was unavailable, but Andrew told me that she wouldn't like me requesting her because she wouldn't make money, which felt unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. As a long time customer, I simply wanted to see the technician whose work I trust. Unfortunately, this interaction with Andrew left me feeling unwelcome, and I've decided that I will no longer be returning to the salon. I wanted to share this feedback because I believe it's important for management to be aware of how interactions like this can affect loyal customers. See below for a great example of the rudeness and unprofessionalism customers receive here. After being a loyal customer for years, it's disappointing to see criticism met with defensiveness instead of accountability. The fact that management feels the need to argue with reviewers rather than address concerns speaks volumes. I asked for a mani/pedi and a guy who I'm guessing might be the manager said no problem. After a few minutes I got seated and maybe 5 minutes later my feet were soaking. Well that lasted the better part of 25 minutes which I was none too pleased about. While this happens at many nail salons that's just an unacceptable amount of time. I'm sure they don't want to turn anyone away as thats lost revenue. But I'm surely not coming back due to this. The manager eventually saw I was waiting a long time and he applied a scrub to my feel/legs and exfoliated my soles. I don't know what the answer is to this issue but many of us don't like to be sitting around waiting for our service. The other downside, I got a person by the name of Van. Who was unfriendly was paying attention to everything but me. And did a terrible gel manicure, so bad I had to ask her to fix issues I could see with the paint. There are way too many nail salons in Solano County, so while the manager did his best it's not cool to let customers sit in the pedicure chairs for more than 10 minutes max. Also pay the cost and have a movie, TV show or current music on your screens.
