This is my second visit and I'm beyond happy with my service. I couldn't find a babysitter so I brought my two little ones in with me and asked if that was alright, they were so welcoming. They set them up with their own seats, snacks, drinks- the works. All while ensuring I don't feel guilty for bringing them and could enjoy my experience, not to mention it was the fastest l've ever had my nails done. Exactly like the inspo pic. 10/10 highly recommended. Moms don't feel shy to bring your little ones to the salon, we deserve to be pampered! Dads, Mother's Day is coming up, consider getting mom a gift card to this place. I came back to Twinkle Nails to give them another chance after a not so good experience last time. Today's service was much better, and very calming! I came in for a gel pedicure today. I decided on the deluxe pedicure package which is the basic package upgraded with hot stones, and a warm towel wrap. Nina was very kind and fun to talk to. She provided a great massage and very attentive. Today's color: 749, old pine. I best describe as a turquoise, green-blue color. Perfect for Spring time!! I couldn't provide 5 stars because of the unnecessary back and forth to pay for my service. The woman at the counter attempted to redirect me to the ATM to avoid using my debit card. She tells me that they prefer cash payments (I paid debit last time without an issue). Not wanting to pay for an ATM fee, I scanned the shop's Venmo code and paid. Once I told the woman that I'm not sure if my payment went through because of the slow internet connection, then she offered to take my card. Right at that moment,, my Venmo payment went through. I will visit again and I will bring my debit card right along with me again to pay for my service. :D read more

Really wasn't happy with this pedicure. The polish kept smearing and the nail tech kept using her nail to scrape along the sides of my nails which hurt a bit. The edges were messy and the layers thick. While everyone was friendly at the place, the pedicure did not come out well. read more

The good: This shop is super clean and the aesthetic is very inviting. The pedicure chairs look super comfortable and new. I showed up on a Thursday around noon with no reservations and was seen promptly. The bad: My manicure felt very rushed and it was pretty painful. I did have an old acrylic set that needed to be taken off. I felt as if the technician did not want to take it off as I can completely understand, however, my real nails were growing longer than the acrylics and causing there to be a gap. When drilling away at my acrylics I had to pull my hand away on several occasions because of how painful it was and the technician laughed after the 5th time. No prices were listed which is a pet peeve of mine as it's nice to know up front what you will be paying. My total came to $45 which is fair and in par with other shops for a gel manicure + taking off the old set. The in between: My nails came out fine. Not bad but not amazing. Some of my nails were longer than others and I did point this out to the technician to trim or file down the others to match but overall there were still some differences by the time I walked out of there. I did appreciate the technical work on my cuticles. The technician went in several times to remove any cuticles and those came out perfect. read more

I went to get a pedicure to relax and trim my nails, but the technician cut my skin with the machine they use to file gel polish. Instead of enjoying the service, I was in pain the entire time. Today the pain has even worsened--my finger is swollen and sore, and I'm having to use an anti-inflammatory cream. If your staff are not qualified or careful enough to handle this profession, please do not hire them. I will never return to this place again. read more

I left a wax appt in vacaville at 8:45, did a quick nail shop search in the area and went with Twinkle cuz they had the highest rating, called the shop at 8:50 and luckily they answered, was able to book a full set with Tracy (first chair in front, iykyfk!), showed her a picture of what I wanted and told her to make it her own and it turned out so damn cute! Structured silver chrome French tips with a few extra details and a pedicure to match... I'm doing this review while I'm melting away in the massage chair! lol also the service was TOP NOTCH, everybody was so nice - handed me a water, offered candy - and that's pretty impressive to be in good spirits first thing in the AM! lol but yesss come to this shop you will not regret it! This is my go-to spot for pedicures and I absolutely love it here! The staff is always so kind and welcoming, super friendly. I've been here 4 or 5 times now and every single visit has been a great experience. They really take their time with the pedicures (no rushed jobs), and the massage chairs are a dream. I always leave feeling relaxed and totally satisfied. One thing I especially appreciate is how family-friendly they are. Anytime we go a little over an hour, they'll bring out chips and juice for my kids without me even asking , such a thoughtful touch. This salon was so welcoming, accommodating, and extremely friendly. Called in the morning of to see if they could take a reservation of 5 in the early evening. Before we were heading out, they called back to see if we can push back another 30 mins since they were still busy which wasn't a problem. They have a reasonable pedi menu with everything from basic to the whole kitchen sink (hot stones, paraffin, all of it) The techs are gentle and respect the cuticle. No pain or digging. They have so many polish colors! All the staff are nice and friendly. I called, said I would be there in 10 minutes and had a chair waiting. That almost never happens at other places. They do not sanitize their tools at all and the place isn't the cleanest. You can see them taking shortcuts in this very important step. Like reusing the hot stones without cleaning them in between customers. Their increased rates is supposed to help cover the cost of these extra safety steps. They get overwhelmed with walk-in customers and those of us that make appointments are forced to wait or they rush through what you have requested. I have acrylic nails and on my last visit my nails ended up crooked & after a week they are starting to separate from my natural nails. They are over priced like all nail salons since the pandemic, but aren't keeping up with the steps to insure customer safety. read more

I didn't have to wait even though every chair was pretty full. The staff was nice and professional. The massage chairs are comfy and their prices are pretty similar to everywhere else. I was recommended to 3 different places for a pedicure and decided on Twinkle because of the Yelp reviews and location. It's in a small strip shopping center with well shaded parking. I was welcomed upon entering and told to check in on the tablet, pick a color, and have a seat. They looked pretty busy and I wasn't sure how long the wait was going to be, but it ended up being less than 5 minutes. I was showed my seat which had a small bottle of cold water waiting for me. The usual massage chair, a lined sink/tub for my feet, and a menu of services nearby. I chose the ultimate package with callus removal and gel. I don't know the guy's name but he had glasses and gave the best massages; my feet were so so happy after. I could tell he takes pride in his work because he made sure my nails were perfect, calluses were removed, and gave me recommendations on callus prevention at home. Got my mani/pedi here with Ann and I am very satisfied with the service. Everyone is friendly & welcoming as soon as you enter. The pedicure was very relaxing but I forgot that the chairs massage you. I'll have to remember that next time. I got acrylics done for the first time time in my life and decided this will be a splurge from now on. It's been about a decade since stepping into a nail salon to have my nails done so am gonna have to take a break from busy mom life for some self care. This place is definitely one to try! I called for my appointment but I think they still talked walk in but it does get busy. I was there at opening at 9am and the pedi chairs all filled up within a half hour maybe because it's summertime. It's better to pay with cash. They welcomed her into one of their many massage chairs, gave her pillows to make her comfy, even gave her snacks and a drink. Such a sweet, friendly, nice nail salon! All the nail techs are so friendly! The salon is beautifully up to date from their pedicure chairs to their manicure tables which is really nice! Their selection of nail polishes is wide and very organized. I don't know how the salon was like before but with this new ownership,it's very well taken care of now. I like the fact that there's soft music in the background and tvs because i like it to not be completely silent during my time at the nail salon. I called in advance just about 15 minutes before just to make sure I get taken care of, and they definitely was able to seat me right away. (Random Tuesday noon) I recommend you to always call in advance to make an appointment or to even be seen when you walk in!
