The appointments (make sure to make one, walk ins might result in some waiting) take a bit longer than I've experienced at other places, but the results are great so I don't mind. Just make sure you go in with about 2 hours to spare if you want acrylic tips. They have drinks and snacks too!! Still looking for my nail salon...I compulsively flick my fingernails until they're just stubs, so I try to keep them done so that I won't do that. I get SNS because it seems sturdier than gel but looks more natural than acrylic, yet somehow the tech went out of their way to make them look as thick and fake as possible. I'm talking like 7 layers of powder. They are so thick in the middle, and it looks pretty tacky. She also cut them so much shorter than I asked, but not all of them - some are longer than others - and the shape was super boxy with SHARP corners and randomly concave in the center on the majority of my nails. Tacky is the only word I have. Not really impressed. Ended up shaping them myself when I got home. Maybe if some of them weren't so short, I'd like them more? What was funny was that you could tell she was judging the last set, which I didn't get there, so I thought, "this lady gets it, they're gonna look great this time." But alas. Her demeanor didn't make me feel comfortable asking if they could be adjusted. A 3 is generally as low as I'll give because people have off days, and they're just nails. They'll grow back. The staff here did my organic SNS and pedi to perfection. They used real oranges for my pedi if that's not natural then I don't know what is! This is the best job I have ever had done. My new favorite nail salon! I went in for a gel mani and eyebrow wax. I found this place off Yelp and figured I'd call to see if they can get me in on a Friday evening. Super easy to schedule. Walked in and instantly felt relaxed. Crystal helped me pick out my beautiful nail color and she did a great job with my cuticles. Next we went into the wax room and they have the most comfortable wax chair I've ever been on. Crystal used hard wax on me which was easier on my skin. I didn't walk out with a bright red forehead like I usually do after an eyebrow wax. Another bonus she threaded my eyebrows to shape instead of plucking. (Insert Mind blown emoji) I will definitely be coming back! They do give you a warranty card I think it's good for up to 5 days after the service (if you have any chips etc.). I love coming here! Crystal is a professional and master nail artist. I truly appreciate that they are appointment only. They book up quickly so it's important to book your appointment in advance. I have never had a problem because I value people's time and book my next appointment before I leave. My powder dip always lasts for weeks and comes out perfect. The pedicures are very relaxing -- I highly recommend the milk and honey pedicure. They use REAL oranges, hot stones and warm towels. The fact here is I would be paying you for a service. PAYING. The basic rules of business are that the customer is always right. And you are arguing with one on a public platform- literally just proving my point how terrible my experience was here. I've also been to this salon multiple times before when i was in desperate, (go to gilt so much better and same prices) never going back here. I've been looking for a good salon near downtown for awhile and I decided to try this place out because of the raving reviews. I'm glad I did. It's close to downtown on the east side and the owner is very knowledgeable about products. They use special tips for certain shapes, so all the nails come out very consistent. The place is very clean and there are tons of colors to choose from and organized by shade- which helps a lot! I got coffin SNS nails and a gel French mani. Prices are comparable too! We stumbled across this one and had a great time here. When we walked in it didn't smell like your typical nail salon, it smelled more like a spa. Crystal is the best nail tech around! Being in a new town is not easy, especially when you have hair & nails to keep up with. Before i found crystal, i tried three other salons close by. I had my nail ripped off, been cut & had horribly shapened nails. When i found the nail lounge i lived some of the reviews and decided to make the appointment. Upon arriving, i was signed in and offered several beverages from soda to wine and mimosas. Their pedicure chairs and manicure chairs are both super comfy. Once I'm sad with crystal i tell her and show her what I'm looking for, and to say she killed it would be an understatement. I usually have loooong coffin shaped nails and she executed it perfectly! Perfect length & thickness, no lumps, and perfect shape, all of my nails MATCHED. With all that said Crystal is now my #1 lady, & I'm so glad i found her! I've been on the hunt for a new Nail spot and came across Nail Lounge by Crystal. I was in desperate need of a SNS fill so I called and made and appointment for a Saturday morning. It is so much closer than my old nail place and its so cute! Parking was easy and as soon as you walk in its super peaceful and clean. I was greeted quickly and was shown the SNS choices (they have a great selection). I was seated and asked if I wanted a drink. They have all the usuals, sodas, water, wine and mimosas. THE Crystal as in the name of the place did my nails. She was amazing, thorough and even took time to clean up my cuticles and dead skin around my nails (which most other places don't do when you get SNS. They also give you a warranty card with the color and number which is good for a week if anything happens. LOVE this spot and will be back. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. My friend made our appointment weeks in advance saying we all wanted sns/dip nails done. The parking situation is not ideal since it's only street parking, so it took us an extra 5-10 minutes to park which did make us just a few minutes late. We were greeted by the owner Crystal who was over the top rude. First thing she said to us was that they probably wouldn't be able to do our nails AT ALL because it was going to take an hour and a half at least (which was what our appointment time was for) and we were 5 minutes late. She said she was going to check while we picked out our colors. We pick our colors out and have to search the place to even find someone to see where we should sit and when we did find her she stated there would not be enough time for us to get our nails done and we'd have to come back at a later date because the girls that work there are "slow and need at least an hour and a half" (her words not mine). I've had my nails done many many times before and never has it taken more than an hour, besides that point we had made an appointment specifically for this time/day. We ended up leaving and going to another place that treated us very kindly and was in and out within an hour. Never have I ever been yelled at, spoken to so rudely or been straight up dismissed like I was by Crystal (the owner). I will never ever step foot in this salon again. read more

The ambiance inside feels, smells, and looks like a spa, and it's so relaxing. Every person who I've had for a service has been so nice, and they're extremely detail-focused so every time my nails are FLAWLESS. They also give you a 7-day warranty card on gel nails with all your color info so if something happens, you can go back and get your nail fixed with the exact right color (though I've never had to use the warranty). My first time with a pedi and gel mani was a nice experience; however, when I went back for a nail correction due to chipped gel things went down hill. The "nail tech" insisted on using a drill and over did it to the point where my nails are now sore after the appointment. All the glue used and a nail is still lifting. When I asked her name during general conversation, she lied and said "crystal" and I asked if she were the owner because of her name. She said no it's a nickname. Her name was Tranh (based on the license* and picture)... ok. Hopefully, my nails won't be too damaged in the coming weeks. Lesson, no matter what lies are told don't let these nail techs drill your nails away. read more
