Had a bad experience here yesterday. Went for a spa pedicure which was painful and ended up so bruised up. The lady was so rough and it was painful not relaxing. But to get my artificial nails removed and get a new full set done was a painful experience with Billy. He was very rough, not only removing my old nails but he cut me (see pic). When I said to him you hurt me, instead of checking the finger n putting antibiotics or some healing ointment on it, he said oh I'm sorry, without checking my finger! When I walked in there was multiple people. The lady asked me what would I like and she was very kind as I said pedicure. However, a man was super rude to a customer before me, responding to her very rudely with a horrible attitude. Then he addressed me and said "come on" super rudely while waving his hand. If you're looking for a great price point and little to no customer service- go here. Price is the cheapest in town- but the customer service is non existent unless you're a high roller or frequent the place often enough to be known by name. In that case- somehow you get slipped a soda or beer by the owner while getting your pedi. All the others just get the basic service. If you want gel polish- know it is an additional $10+ and typically done by another worker, so expect to pay extra and tip two people. read more

The techs that helped me were SO sweet! They seemed scared of the owner though That made me feel so sad. It's 2024 why is this business treating its workers like they're slaves. I saw the way the owner or manager spoke to them and I wanted to make him stop. David is on a power trip, it's just money, sir. Be a decent human being prayers for those workers. No one should be treated that way on a daily basis. I imagine language and cultural barriers keep them there. My son is getting married Saturday and I went to my salon but my girl is gone. Someone else did my nails and I HATE THEM. They look nothing like what I showed her. I came to David's to try and get them fixed. I stopped coming to this shop years ago bc I didn't like the dictatorship that seemed to be going on but wanted to give them another try since I needed to have my nails changed. I literally came in for a pedicure at 9AM and was paid for and in my car by 9:17AM.... Sat in the pedi chair for 7 minutes, and that's including soak, scrub and a poor job at filing and cutting cuticles. Then I was moved to a manicure chair where the lady proceeded with my pedi while she sat on the floor..... Never coming here again. She did a poor job on painting my toes. 1 star for the wholeeeeeee experience. I literally had to come back home and scrub/pumis my own feet. How the hell do they have all these awards on the walls? HORRIBLE SERVICE! Got their middle pedicure package ($30) they painted my nails, I sat under the fan for 10 minutes and told me when I was done so I went on my way, when I got home the nail polish was coming off everywhere. When I called to tell them they said "oh well, that's what happens with regular nail polish you should have paid extra for gel" then hung up on me. If you're looking for a relaxing or quality experience, this is not the place for you. Nails by David Lee is all about speed and volume. It felt like they cared more about rushing me through than delivering a good service, or even a comfortable one. The woman who did my pedicure didn't understand what I was saying, and she was very rough with my feet and legs, moving them around in a way that felt almost aggressive. The atmosphere was chaotic, with at least 20 people working, rushing around and barking instructions at clients without clear communication. They didn't even wait for me to get up from the seat before starting to clean the bowl, leaning over me with no regard for my personal space--resting boobs all over my feet. It was uncomfortable and rushed. To make things worse, they don't take cards, so you're forced to use their ATM and pay a fee, which is frustrating. When I left, nobody said thank you, and the man sitting by the front door (I assume he's the owner) didn't even acknowledge my existence. What really stands out is the lack of care for return business, which is reflected in the fact that they don't even respond to their Yelp reviews. I'm writing this to help others know what to expect, not because I think the business will make any changes. read more

I have been going to nails by David since I was 13. I'm 36 now. Sad to say this but I will not be returning. I normally go to the spa side because it isn't as chaotic. They are closing it down. The other one is comparable to a sweat shop. If you want multiple people working on your feet. If you want people who "pretend" to give massages and only care about how many people they can get to in a day, come here. Uneven nails and horrible massages have changed my mind about this place. I've also noticed David hasn't been around the last month or so. I'm wondering if that's why service has been so poor. Anyway I'm taking my business somewhere else. Super embarrassing experience barley got an apology for being burned with hot water. I went to get a silver chrome fill done for $45 (they charge an extra $15 for anything with chrome on it) and have been a regular for the past few months but the chrome set I got seemed to not be topped/ cured correctly and it chipped immediately within the hour and by the next day one entire nail had nothing on it along with most other nails were chipped as well and when I asked to get it fixed a day later I had to pay extra for recoloring and fixing $20. A fill that was supposed to last at least 2 weeks ended up only lasting a day and I ended up paying more than a whole new set (my family member to get a new set of acrylic and her amount paid was $45). The tech said they could have only fixed it for free if I had come in the same day unfortunately. read more

Come here for a cheap infection On different occasions both my sister and my daughter came here to get pedicures. Both received an infection in which their doctor specifically stated that it was due to the pedicures received. These infections left them in pain, had to miss a week of work, prescribed antibiotics and had to wear a boot. When brought up to David both times he insists that he knows it is from an ingrown toenail, not from the service. When I tell him what the doctor stated he argues that they did not do that and proceeds to hang up the phone while I am in midsentence. He wants me to drag my daughter there in her boot so that he can give his medically trained opinion that the doctor is wrong. This place is overcrowded with no one to easily move flow of service. My mother in law and sister and law took me here to get my nails done for my wedding on Thursday. We came here Saturday (today is mon) around 2ish and waited well over 1hr for an acrylic set for my sister in law and myself. My mother in law got a gel manicure and was taken back right away. We were forgotten about probably 3x hence the obnoxious wait. When I eventually got Calvin, he was nice but he was so rough. More so shoving my hands and fingers back rather than gentle guide back. My fingers are super sore from his roughness. They don't do anything to your cuticles like push back, trim, make look decent and they charge you $45+ This place is a mill, not a salon. I had a recent pedicure there and was given a staff member named Jimmy took over an hour to complete my pedicure with gel polish. I saw some staff complete 3 to 4 pedicures in the time Jimmy took with me. I was not happy with the quality work either, with a right big toenail crooked and polish on my skin on another 2 toes. I asked Tommy the manager at the time why it took over an hour and he said, "He is new, he's been working one week." I said I realize he needs to learn but I did not have over an hour to spend here.
