He has over 30 years of experience. I have had several other people do my nails at this salon and all of them have done a great job. They always fit me in, even at the last minute. They serve a complimentary drink while your nails are being done - I get the white wine or Tai tea. My dipping nails last almost 4 weeks, so it makes it easy on my monthly budget. I have a torn toe nail they are able to use gel to make it look like a normal toe nail and then add polish, this will last me 4 to 6 months and allows me to wear open toe shoes. read more

I called around to several salons specifically looking for a pedicure salon that could do a pedicure for someone in a wheelchair. I called and was very clear with the gentleman answering the phone that my mother cannot get into the pedicure chair and that I was looking for someone to complete the pedicure IN her wheelchair. The gentleman was in a hurry and said "yes yes". I asked again, making I clear she cannot get in the chair. He again said "yes, I understand". He took my name and set an appointment for 11am. I called that morning to see if we could add someone to our appointment at 11am and the gentleman that answered said "yes, no problem". I loaded up my mom into her wheelchair and take her down to the appointment. When we get there the lobby was chaos, no room to sit, people standing everywhere. I gave them my name and they could not find my appointment but said they would see us. I explained again we need a pedicure in her chair. They had me wheel my mom to the end of the row of pedicure chairs and then told me to get her in the pedicure chair. I explained she cannot transfer, he said if she can't get in the chair, they could not help us. This was extremely disappointing and mortifying for me AND my mother as well as my daughter who joined us for what was supposed to be a girl pedicure day. It is absolutely unacceptable that I made it very clear what accommodation was needed when I called, they confirmed the accommodation and then basically tell us to leave when we get there. Went in there and got a pedicure the paint that the girl was using looked dry and I stated I didn't like the color because it looked like it was barley showing up and she told me she just needed to add more coats it still Looked horrible and not even all my toes were painted fully . Yes neat and clean just how we love it. Entering this establishment you are greeted by the receptionist and asked if you have an appointment? This place is giving that high end vibes!!! Which we are all up for. This place has lots of space with so many pedicure seats and lots of manicure seating areas. Also you are wowed by all the coolers they offer for your nails. Well today I decided I needed a fill for my nails and wanted to get design too on them. I called ahead to book and appointment which was amazing because I did not have to wait for a person to do my nails. So I got seated within 5 min of me arriving there which was amazing. The manicurist asked what I had on my nails if it was acrylic or powder? Which I did tell her acrylic she said okay and continued to remove the old nail polish I had. When I said these lady's knew what they were doing I'm not joking. Usually by this time I'm bleeding from my cuticle since other manicurist usually over file my nail and usually file my skin too so I was happy that she did not hurt me while prepping my nails. Then another manicurist told me to go sit at her desk since she was the one that will be finishing off the nails. Before this tho the owner of the establishment was actually there which to be honest I have never seen that. But to be honest this guy was on his A game which kudos to him. He actually asked us what we wanted to drink and the drinks were complimentary which now hearing this made this experience 10000% much more better. I decided to go with just a water since I did not know what kind of drinks we could choose from. Anyways I thought we would get the drinks in a small water bottle like all the other salons but no! They took it up a notch and gave a tall glass cup with ice and water which was amazing. So for my nails I decided to choose a purple color and the design was a butterfly on my fingers which honestly it came out amazing. Again all this was done without hurting me or getting distracted on a phone call. This to be honest was the best experience I have ever had in a nail salon. Now the moment we have all waited for is this establishment dendinger approved???? I went to get my nails done in may 15th for a concert I had the next day, i got an estimate of eighty five dollars, and ended up paying one twenty eight, i brought in my own charms, i didn't get seated for over a 1 hour. When everybody else was helped before me even after they walked in the door later than me, not complaining but poor service, on top of that, nobody else had to move their chair.Yet I had to move out of mine, i didn't get offered a drink until halfway through my appointment, the second person to work on my nails did a horrible job putting an even level on my nails, it was a simple, black cat eye, nothing to it. The two stars are for the absolute beautiful artwork left on my nails, but why only two stars? I was charged $130 for what would've been 30 years ago a $60 nail appointment. I was asked if I want cuticle oil, which used to be part of an acrylic nail set. I was asked if I wanted a secure topcoat, I was asked if I wanted design or anything that went with that and of course I wanted a beautiful design for Christmas. I tipped her $20 before I even got to the front and when I got to the front and found out that I owed $130 for what is a normal set of acrylic nails I about lost my shit. I was too embarrassed to say anything so I paid and I left and here I am a week later every single one of them is popping off the Bows fell off on day two and I guess those were five dollars each, which blew my mind because I have the same freaking thing at home. I could've done. I have tried to call for the last two days to cancel my next appointment but it's either gone unanswered or I get hung up on. They called me back at one point, but unfortunately, I heard the very last ring instead of the first, and when I answered, there was no one there so I called back immediately afterwards at which I did not get an answer. I am trying to cancel my appointment because there's no way in hell I will pay you $130 She was amazing, her work? I came about a month ago July 22nd for a full set hard gel manicure with someone else's work with almond shape. they soaked my nails off and gave me a full set of what I asked , the tech who did my nails filed them too short which I mentioned several times throughout my visit by the end I was crying because I was upset my nails were short and bitty when I came in with longish nails. I spoke up and they gave me a "discount" which was fake because I saw my pay card with how much they wanted me to pay this day I still paid $90 for my set Fast forward to today a month later to be exact August 23rd I come back for a hard gel FILL and my nails are already almond shaped , they repaired 4 nails that had cracks but not to the point of a broken , chipped or hang nail , which I didn't ask for also a repair is him buffering my nails as they do all 10 fingers , so unsure how that's considered a repair and I got a pretty sparkly pink gel color. My first in intuition was to book with someone else for a different experience, the male who did my nails did great. But my problem with this place is pricing when they rung me up it came to under $90 as so did my full set. He said they wanted to charge me for 1.) Hard gel Fill manicure , comes with no cuticle cut or nail clean up or end hand massage 2.) 4 nails repair $15 3.) Almond shape $5 for nails but I came in with them already shaped almond 4.) gel nail pollish $10+ 5.) nail kit $5 I spoke up and did not pay this price it was reduced after going back and forth. Had a very weird experience today. I've been going here since the opening and have had nothing but the best experiences. For context, I get my nails done only for special occasions so maybe 4x the past 3 years. I got there at my appointment time and waited 35 minutes to be seated. They were so packed & busy I was just thankful because I can see how hard the nail techs were working. My issue is when I pre-booked an appointment for a specific service (acrylic full set), got the price quote, and gave my nail tech a photo from their own website. Then got something completely different from what I was asking for & showed a photo of. And also got up-charged $10 for a service that I never got in the first place? I booked an appointment for full set ($63) and showed the photo from their website (attached below) multiple times. It was so busy, she finished applying my tips and acrylic filling, then began applying the clear top coat without applying even 1 layer of the pink color paint I asked for. I politely noted it was transparent and not the milky pink color I asked for, and she asked if "I'd like a whole other coat", and I said yes, please! She went on to apply a second coat of the CLEAR top coat with no pigment and I had to sit there and cure that under the LED light. I'm just confused if she thought I'm an idiot & think a second clear coat would give my nails an ounce of color (like I asked for), or if she was just wanting me out of the chair. Regardless, I showed this pic multiple times and you can see for yourself that's not what I got. As a cherry on top she gave me a note card to take up front to pay, and quoted me $73 dollars. I feel bad that I didn't have an appointment the day that I happen to be in Salem. They didn't seem very busy at the time, only one customer at that time. I really needed a manicure, since I will be going to Hawaii. My friend was with me, and not interested in having his nails done. We were taken to the nail station and given a drink menu for complimentary drinks. I opted for a margarita on the rocks and my friend got the Vietnamese coffee, both were excellent! Nail fungus. I've lost half of my thumb nail to fungus and two other fingers have it too! I pointed out the yellowing on my thumb several months ago and the technicians always said oh that's normal. Now I have to treat these nails for six months and not put polish on or powder dip which helps strengthen my nails. I came here with my sister and niece the day before mother's day (with appointments) First we were greated to every chair full with still a 15 min wait. That wasn't a big deal, but let's paint a picture from beginning to end. They did have a good variety of paint colors though. (Probably the only thing I truly liked about this place) My sister and niece had two ladies and I had an older man who's names I don't remember. I specifically asked the man more than anything, I really want a good cleaning underneath my toe nails and cuticle care. If that meant cutting into "massage"time, totally fine. I did not receive any cuticle softening treatment. I did not get any scraping under the nail other than a super soft and non effective wipe of the big toenail. He confusingly filed my toe nails to all different lengths and had to ask for correction, as did my sister. There was a piece of nail that must have chipped out of the corner of my big toe and he wasn't even going to cut the corners to form a straight clean nail line until I asked him. I told him about a big cut high up my calf I had from shaving my right leg, asking him not to touch it, but those wishes were also disregarded. The massage was just a normal rubbing on of lotion with no added strength. Yes, I said it was okay to forfeit the massage part if it meant good nail cleaning, but that didn't actually happen. My hot wax that you pay almost $10 extra for was not hot by the time he got it on my feet and only(barely) covered the sole of my feet. That part was really disappointing as the heat of the wax is my fav part. Then came the polish. He did a great job at applying it. I was happy with the coverage and cleanliness around my cuticles with it. I sat after it was done for 15 minutes. They also tried to charge us $32 or $33 for a childs pedicure with regular polish at first and it took us explaining in detail this wasn't correct before they would finally fix it. I paid and went to my car to meet my sister where once she walked outside she could see her polish was see through in multiple spots but didn't want to spend more time while they were busy to go back and have it fixed. Finally after getting home, eating and sitting down on the floor with my children, my kid touched my polish over an hour later and I saw blue on her finger. This is when I took a video and touched the other toes only to realize the paint was just wiping right off. It wasn't "tacky", just straight up came right off. NOW, I've never taken to social media to leave a bad review but this is not their first offense. This is now the second time this has happened to me. The first time I went back, pleasant, agreeable to correction and didn't make any big deal about it.. But for this to happen AGAIN? not only to me, but to my sister as well just less severely...I can't be the only one who's gone through this with them!? What are the odds. I reached out asking this time for a refund as this is the second time a major issue occured. I left with a crappy nail treatment, massage and non curing paint job and they refuse to refund me. Only offered an unspecified discount for future visits as if I'd really go back again. I tried giving them a second chance, allowing them to redeem themselves, and I was met with poor customer service and greed on their end.
