To my knowledge, she is one of the managers, and I can honestly say she is one of the most professional, hardworking, and hospitable owners I have ever encountered in any industry. I've seen the salon become incredibly busy, and instead of simply managing from the sidelines, Cathy rolls up her sleeves and immediately starts helping with clients to support her team. I've watched her go out of her way to ensure every guest feels welcomed and taken care of, and I've even personally seen her stay after hours cleaning the entire salon herself. That level of leadership, dedication, and pride in her business is rare and deserves recognition. She has also built an amazing team. I actually live much closer to another nail salon, but I made the switch because I found this salon to be far more hygienic, professional, and welcoming. It was one of the best decisions I've made. Two of my favorite nail technicians are Tracey and Richard, who always take great care of me. Richard is incredibly talented and detail-oriented. I appreciate that he takes the time to make sure every detail is perfect, and he's always willing to bring my sometimes silly nail design ideas to life. While other customers were treated kindly and given attention, I felt completely ignored and left out--even though I was paying the same as everyone else. That kind of unequal treatment is not okay. The managers were unprofessional and came across as rude and dismissive, which made the experience even worse. On top of that, I later found out my daughter and her friends had a similar experience at the same place, which is very concerning. No one should spend their money and leave feeling disrespected. When I asked about it, she said there was nothing she could do. I asked if she could paint it red, and she said that would be an additional $20. As a professional, she should have clearly explained this before starting. She could have said, "If you do a fill, the back side will still show yellow. I recommend a new set because if you want the back painted to match, it'll be $20 more, so you might as well go with the new set." That's what honest customer service looks like. Instead, I was left with an upsell after the fact and nails that still show yellow underneath, even after paying $155 total with design and pedicure. The front looks decent, but the lack of transparency was disappointing. It's clear they cared more about money than customer satisfaction. After eight years of consistently great service with my nail tech out of state , this experience in Arizona was frustrating and unprofessional.
