I've been coming here for about a year. The service is always top notch! After having my nails done last week, had to hop on a Flight later that day! There was some issues with the gel setting correctly and they were very damaged and the gel was falling off. I came here on April 5th for a fill and by April 12th I'd lost 3 nails (and no i don't do hard or excessive labor that would warrant that, otherwise i'd do hard gel manis), I requested a refund and a soak off, neither of which they obliged to. They said they'd fix the nails, I came in and they used the same materials, not to mention you can see the visible difference in the nails they "fixed" versus the original fill. By April 14th, 3 more nails came off! I am not exaggerating. If a refund wasn't possible, at the very least a new set would've made sense. Especially for $65 FILL + tip. The place is cute but very obviously uses cheap materials. You're paying for ambiance and not quality work. Won't be coming back. read more

Went there because it was a little bit closer to my home than the nail lounge I usually go to for my metallic chrome nails. I've been doing chrome for at least eight months, in California and at a different salon in Chandler but this was the first time I noticed it wasn't holding up. Chrome was fading very quickly at the tips, scuffing a little bit on the surface. Never had that problem before and wasn't using my hands in any unusual way to account for it. Nevertheless, when my daughter visited, I took her there, and she has since gone home to California, but told me that her nails are not holding up at all. She spent $80 for her manicure. So we both had bad experiences which is an indicator that this isn't a reliably great place. Nice people, but maybe some of the technicians don't have the best skill levels. I'll go back to the salon a little further down the road in future. read more

No time in between coats to dry, led to clumpy half dry nails despite sitting for 20 mins waiting for them to dry (I was recommended 10 mins to dry- god knows the state they'd be in if I'd listened to that) now they're prone to dents in the nail polish. Shaping of nails rushed and buffing of nails led to 3 cuts on my nails. Gaps on my nails without nail polish. I just had a dip manicure here. The young man who did my nails did everything during my pedicure even though these services were booked in two different time slots. I couldn't relax for my pedicure because I had to contort my body to reach where he was sitting. He didn't put polish on the sides of my nails, which was so strange. I asked him to fix it and he told me, "it will look FAT" and just stared at me like he couldn't believe I want to look fat. Then he "fixed" it but it visibly looks different than the rest of the nails that were painted the first time. It's matte instead of glossy. Hard to photograph, but trust it looks like garbage. He also didn't use any lotion at all. And after soaking my whole fingers in acetone, that left me with super dry, white-tinged nails. Have been going here for a while and always had a decent experience until tonight. Extremely dishonest nail tech. She asked me if I wanted gel toenails. I said no, $20 is too much extra for gel. She shows me an upgraded pedicure and said gel would only be $10 more and the total would be $52. I confirmed this with her twice to make sure nothing got lost in translation. Then when I'm done she hands me the ticket and what do you know, it's $62. I question this and she immediately starts arguing. I was going to tip $15 so instead of arguing I just paid it and didn't tip. I can't stand dishonesty so I will not be back. read more

Got a dip manicure and grand Luxe pedi. My dip manicure was done at the pedicure station despite me asking 3 times if I could do it at the table. She proceeded anyways, 10 min later she was done.. I had excess all over my skin. She left me sitting there with oil all over my hands. My pedicure lady was not bad, although she put 4 coats of polish on, this caused it to look very caked on. No massage really, then when she was done, I was left to dry with no attempt to help put my sandals back on. Overall, very poor experience I won't be back. read more

Came in for a pedicure on a Sunday when my usual place was closed. Quickly was seated and set the chair for a 20 minute massage. My nail tech Anna was done with my pedicure before the massage even finished. Fastest pedicure I've ever had and unfortunately left behind a lot of dead skin. The hot stone massage was all of 2 minutes and scrub on the bottom of my feet was shorter than what I can accomplish in the shower. Great massage chairs but unfortunately won't be going back. Think I'll stick to my usual place. Note: you will have to put your own shoes back on, they don't help avoid your newly polished toes and you will have to pay via Venmo or Zelle to avoid a fee. read more

These past 2 visits have been a JOKE! I quite literally requested to not have the previous nail tech because she cut my nail slanted drastically and i had to wait 2 months to be able to come back after it grew into place again. All for the new nail tech to cut it slanted as well right AFTER i told her to be mindful of the nail position! After i noted that she continued to file down on the short side making it even worse and shorter! Then as she was putting the sugar scrub on me she did not ask which fragrance i wanted ( normally i am asked) and did not care to notice that the entire blob slipped off my skin and into the bowl. Ive been to this salon at least handful of times and it progressively keeps getting worse. I am very short and look like im young so maybe there is some prejudice thinking that i am not capable of spending money, but make no mistake i will gladly spend when the service is deserving. A friend recommended this place and we were excited to check it out. Made appointments for my mom and I at the same time in advance. Received multiple confirmation texts. When we showed up, we were sat down and someone started her manicure immediately. No one said anything to me and after 15 minutes I asked the receptionist how much longer it would be until someone could start on my nails. She mentioned that they'd had a lot of walk ins that morning. It's frustrating that walkins would take priority over someone with an appointment. My manicure started 45 minutes late and my mom was already done with hers so then she had to just sit there and wait for me. The color books were all beat up and tattered but we both picked our colors. The color was completely wrong on my mom's manicure and when we tried asking they said the color samples were for gel and not dip which we were getting. We asked why we were given the gel samples and they said there aren't dip samples and that they just "do their best" to pick a dip that matches the gel color you choose. Not ideal and no one said anything about that. She'd picked a nice soft pink and her nails were a milky white. The gel removing dremmel tool his my moms fingers several times to the point where there was raw skin. When it was my turn, my nails were cut shorter than I'd asked and then they were uneven on one side across all 10 fingers so she had to file them down even more. They look very stumpy now and the final product is very sloppy. I have remnants of the products all under my nails and all over my cuticles. I went here to get my nails and toes done for my Anniversary. And yes it is a beautiful place however I was told that my skin was to dark for a nail polish color(pink) . I believe her name was Cynthia and she must have said that my skin is to dark repeatedly . I felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome . Then at the end of the service she had the nerve to ask for a tip . I am so disappointed and honestly would like a refund for my service. Not only did they charge me $45 for my feet when it was suppose to be $35 she demanded a tip before I left . Not every mixed/black person is cheap. After putting up with the unprofessionalism for 6+ years, and just getting up and walking out on my appointment, it's time to shed some light on this place because I am sick of giving my hard earned money to toxic business owners who think they can treat people however they want. One of the owners of this place, Jennifer, has upset me multiple times over the years, as she is unprofessional, combative, aggressive, argumentative, has a major attitude that is not only verbal but visible, she cannot keep her cool, hangs up on clients, and embarrasses herself in front of customers with her lack of ability to keep calm and handle anything in a professional, adult manner. As always I called ahead of time to schedule a manicure with my nail tech of 6+ years, Tanya (who did NOT deserve to be yelled at in front of everyone for no reason by her boss today by the way), I had a work call come up so I called to reschedule for a few hours later, Jennifer answered and was quite annoyed I had to reschedule even though I had no time restraints the rest of the day, she chose a time for me and hung up the phone (no "no problem, happy to help, see you soon, thanks for letting us know" etc). I show up for my 1pm, wait for over 10 minutes with nothing said to me, the girl next to me gets to look at nail colors, Jennifer asks her if she wants something to drink, I am ignored, Jennifer knows me by name, she is clearly irritated that I had to push my appointment back a few hours but whatever. 10+ minutes go by, I see my tech starting to do another manicure, I'm confused as my nail appointment was supposed to start 10 minutes ago. Jennifer walks by and I ask what the timeline for Tanya is (as it is in the middle of a work day and I had only blocked an hour 15 for my appointment, that usually only takes 45 mins), she immediately gets combative and aggressive with me, no "hey we're so sorry it's prom this weekend and Tanya has to redo something for this student but it will only be ten minutes we apologize, what can we get you to drink?" That's all it had to be. I would have understood, especially if the OWNER had said something. Instead, I was told that I wasn't a priority as she yelled at me that prom was this weekend (there were only two girls getting their nails done for prom in the salon at this time) in front of the entire salon. After pointing out to her that I just thought I deserved some communication and my appointment to be prioritized (as they are 10-20 minutes late on me almost every time I go in with no conversation about it) I was berated in front of everyone and told I was "too picky" about who does my nails. I responded with "I think it's quite normal for someone to have a favorite nail tech they stay with", that made her even more mad for some reason. This went on for a few minutes, I kept my composure and led with communication and respect, she did not, so I walked out quietly. Once again, like everywhere else in the world right now, standing up for yourself, advocating for yourself, asking questions, or even communicating with another human is impossible. The simple daily human interactions are no longer able to happen in the world; people are disrespected, bullied, and gaslit, everything is blown out of proportion, lines are crossed, and people are affected no matter how calm, nice, respectful, you are. As a society, we need to stop allowing this to happen anymore, we have to stop being scared to say anything, to stand up for yourself, to ask questions- all respectfully. I am no longer paying for bad service, toxic people, and sub par results anymore. This place is overpriced, under whelming, and my nails would fall off in two weeks.. plus the colors never get revamped anyways. They have another location in Scottsdale that is right by my new house that I will be warning my friends and family about! I would actually give them a NEGATIVE zero. I felt they were EXTREMELY rude. I very much disliked their energy. They were dismissive and crass. I did not care for the gentleman in this picture (from their Yelp page). I don't know if he is the owner or not but while looking at a nail polish, he literally told me I needed to put it down because only the employees could touch the polish! I was in awe. I am from California. I would NEVER be told I cannot touch the nail polish display. My husband chose to get his nails done because he didn't want to drive to another place. I chose to wait until I get back to California! After my husband was done and went to the restroom, I tipped the lady who did his pedicure. I've been coming here for years and am remiss it's taken me this long to leave a review. From day one until now, the consistency and quality of service has never wavered. Don & Jen are always on top of things and keep the place well staffed and super organized. Personally, I have a hard time getting through pedicures because I'm very ticklish and often cringe through most of the process. But not with Cynthia! She does a phenomenal job and is very knowledgeable about foot and nail care. My absolute favorite nail tech is Amy. The only thing better than her proficiency (cannot believe how quickly she kicks out a full set of SMS dip nails) is the quality of her work. I sometimes wait a little too long in between replacing the set and I've never had a chip or a nail pop off. I'm always amazed at how great they stay looking right up until the end. Love this place!!! First time and they were amazing. I've only had dip a handful of times and this was my favorite by far. I was going to give four stars due to price but I think I'm just not used to having so many fancy things done. I paid $102 before tip for soft almond shaped dip (no tips needed.. these are my real nails!!!) and the second tier pedicure, no polish or buffing of my toe nails. Everyone was so nice and helpful. So this is the second time I come here and I should have learned my lesson the first time I came here but I decided to call in and let them know about my experience the first time and the manager asked me to give them another try so today I did and I realize I should have never given them a second chance I actually left my phone on translator and listen to the whole conversation and how badly they spoke about me and my children but that's not all I asked them to do simple design and she messed up on it I let her know that she messed up on my design and then she got lazy on the whole design and didn't do what I had initially asked her to do so overall my experience here was trash I just truly wouldn't recommend this place!!!!! We had a very good experience with Grand Nails Lounge Ocotillo. We called and were able to make a same-day appointment for three gel manicures and three pedicures. When we arrived we were promptly greeted and pleased to find a very nicely designed establishment. Someone really gave some time, thought, and much consideration into this place and it shows! The decorating touches are wonderful and the place is quite comfortable. We found the employees working there to be quite friendly as well and they did a beautiful job with all of our nails. Amy is a great nail technician, I go to her every time, however my visits lately have been very rushed. She does great under pressure but I didn't like the way the owner came over while we were having a great conversation and spoke to her where she completely shut down. My last visit today I seen him grab the bowl I had soaked my hands in and give it to another customer without changing the solution or towel. I also did my own cuticle oil application since he did not return after my nails were dry as I seen him sitting in the closet behind the desk eating. The pedi chairs are comfortable and give a good massage. Amy came up with a fun color and glitter combo for me and did a really detailed job. And they served me a nice glass of wine. Nice atmosphere. I was called racist in front of everyone because I told the front desk that I did not understand what my prices were because the woman who did my pedicure has broken English. Not only did she have broken English, she was wearing an N 95 mask. Language has nothing to do with race. I was called racist in front of everyone in the front of that salon for no reason-- By either the manager or the owner, he wouldn't tell me if he was the owner or not. Just because you say someone has broken English does not mean that you are a racist person. It means you did not understand that person's English. That's it! Therefore I could not of agreed to any prices she gave me. I had to look to see what the prices were before I went up to the counter because no prices were discussed with me. I did not agree to any prices and no prices were given to me. I will never ever visit this place and I will tell everyone that goes there to discontinue going there from this point forward because of the way I was treated at the front desk. They made me pay for my service. He would not let me leave the building unless I signed and paid for the service.
