Also sliced the side of my finger going so fast with a really abrasive Emory board. Very tender now. Didn't feel relaxing at all. I got the dip nails. They didn't even cut my cuticles so they look really ugly. Also, the nails are pretty lumpy. Took 30 mins from start to finish. Nails are all uneven. Probably the worst manicure of my life. I felt bad saying anything because he was very nice and that's the only reason there are two stars instead of one but definitely won't be back. *** day two edit: from the aggressive filing I actually have a cut on three nails next to my cuticle. On top of this being painful this is especially a concern for me due to the fact that I am a nurse and am frequently around infection and germs making me at higher risk for infection.

I went and there was only 1 other person so they sat me down right away. The guy started the mani and kept pausing to talk/socialize (which would've been fine if I wasn't in such a rush). Then he flooded my cuticles on my left hand. I pointed it out to him but I don't think he understood what I was saying because he proceeded to flood them even worse to "fix it". My right hand had the polish around 1/8" away from my cuticle so it looked like they were grown out for 2 weeks. This manicure took 1 hour and I hated the mani so much that I didn't even want them to touch my toes, so I just paid and left. The next day I couldn't stand how my nails looked so I just took it right off because having no polish on looked better than the terrible job he did. Oh and the polish wasn't even evenly coated on the nail. I got a neutral pink color and you could see some dark strips where there wasn't enough color. I wanted to take it off the minute I left the salon. It was such a waste of money.

This is the 2nd nail to come off in 11 days. I went back to Adore nails to get my nails fixed (please see my previous review where the owner told me they would fix my nails as many times as I needed). The owner Trang Nguyen (Tan) did my nails, he did a wonderful job and I love them. When I was preparing to leave we spoke at the cash register in private. He said that he fixed all my nails, gave me a new set but he would only CHARGE ME $40 for the set, I said I thought you were correcting the mistake, he said I gave you a full set which will last 3 more weeks. He then said I will just charge you $30...this really took me by surprise because: 1. Nina did a horrible job on 1/1/26 2. My nail chopped and the polish turned pink by 1/3/26. I spoke to the owner, Trang Nguyen (Tan), asked if she could redo them, which she did with the same attitude and poor service. 3. A nail came off completely on 1/8/26, during that visit I asked Tiffany if she could redo my nails, which she said she couldn't because they were already old (after only 7 days and 2 mistakes later) 4. After my review, Trang Nguyen (Tan) told me to come in and he would fix my nails as many times as I needed 5. Another nail came completely off on 1/11/26. I went in and was charged. I paid the $30 mainly because I intended to tip him because I liked my nails and service. Then Tan asked me for the 2nd time if I could remove the 1star review. He said the next time just come talk to him and he would fix the problem and the next time they would put me with someone who could do a better job on my nails. Due to the constant nail repairs, poor service, being charged for your employee's mistake, paying $100 on a set of nails without design or anything special, you have forever lost me as a customer and I will not remove this or the other review because others should know about this experience. The only way to fix and remove this review would be to offer a full refund and when a customer comes in the future, take their complaints seriously and fix the issue the first time.
