I was greeted with a very dry "How can I help?" which unfortunately set the tone for the rest of the visit. I waited about 15 minutes, which was fine. The nail tech who assisted me had just finished a pedicure. When she sat me down, she immediately reached for my hands while still wearing the same gloves from her previous service. I gently asked whether they were fresh gloves (I already knew they weren't), and she sighed, removed them, and continued without washing her hands. Because I work in the medical field, this made me extremely uneasy -- gloves that were just in pedicure water should never be used from one service to the next. From that point on, every tool she used made me wonder if it had been properly sanitized. Instead of enjoying the service, I spent the entire appointment worried about hygiene and "what ifs." Throughout the full set application, she barely spoke to me, so I didn't feel comfortable asking questions aside from reminding her about a corner of acrylic that hadn't been filled. The nails themselves are nothing special to comment on. They do offer a quick 60-second hand and back massage afterward, which was unexpected but pleasant. I also noticed the same dry, dismissive energy from the person who greeted me on Another customer who tried making small talk about the weather, and the tech replied, "I don't pay attention to the weather," in a very blunt tone. The customer looked uncomfortable. On a positive note, there was one tech -- I believe her name was Gigi ? -- who came in with a client waiting for her. She was upbeat, warm, and so friendly. I genuinely found myself wishing she could have taken over my set. This was my first visit to this salon, and unfortunately, I don't think I'll return.
