I went here because my friend got her nails done here and they were so well done. She saw Lena, so I booked an appointment with her. She is so kind and really knows what she's doing and what will look good on you. She suggested the color I have on. I absolutely love the way my nails turned out. Also their cuticle oil literally revived my cuticles from the dead i'm so grateful.

Lena is amazing!! She is extremely talented and so fun to talk with. I trust her input 1000%. Truly the best!! The ambiance is very welcoming and they always offer something to drink.

This is my go-to nail salon! I love seeing Lena--she always does an amazing job and is able to create the fun nail designs I ask for. Highly recommend!

As my go-to manicurist was out of town on vacation and I was in desperate need for a mani and pedi. I used the handy Yelp Appointment Request feature for a same day appointment (more like, within the next few hours!) and received a response within 10 minutes. At first, they weren't able to schedule me during my requested time period, so I began looking at other salons. They reached back out within 15 minutes to let me know that they were able to schedule me as the original appointment rescheduled! I went in for an SNS (dipping powder) manicure and spa pedicure. They had a wide variety of colors for dipping as well as gel and regular polish. My spa pedicure came with a paraffin wax on my heels as well as a nice massage. I had the dual treatment (hands and feet) during my experience, which was appreciated even though I wasn't on a time crunch. Nancy did my manicure and she was meticulous throughout the whole experience, and was very friendly! Unfortunately, my manicure only lasted 2 weeks before my nails started chipping (it's typically ~3-4 weeks with SNS at my usual salon). The salon itself is clean and well-kept. They also offer beverages (water, Coke, Diet Coke) which is always a plus. It's located in Fairfax right by Fairfax Circle, in the small shopping plaza next to Bowl America.

I came here right after my engagement to get my nails done. I do my own nails at home and this was the first time I had ever gotten them professionally done. It was a really last minute appointment that one of my best friends made for me. I will say, 10/10 for the service and hospitality. I'm not sure what everyone's names were but the two ladies who helped my friends were very kind. I was a little jealous of them when I saw how much conversation they were having. While my nail tech was nice, she didn't speak with me at all throughout the appointment. I asked for medium length almonds with a natural smile line french. She added fake tips and used dip powder. Maybe it was my fault that I didn't pay attention as I was on my phone but I'm now realizing how uneven and poorly done these were. Keep in mind, these are 3.5 days old. I got these done Saturday evening around 5pm, it is now Tuesday night. The shape isn't even an almond but a rounded oval. They didn't look too weird right after I got them done but now that they've grown, you can now see how wonky the shape is. She flooded my cuticles on multiple nails and didn't even use the correct sizes for the tips as there are some fingers where you can see my natural nail on the side. My cuticles look messy and dirty and the shape of the nails themselves are just not cute. I'm not sure if my expectations were too high but now I regret the fact that my friend paid a lot of money for me to get them done. Overall, pretty disappointed and most likely will just stick to doing my own nails

I was in limbo and trying to find a new nail salon. From my fist visit in December 2021, Natalie has been absolutely wonderful and is my absolute favorite! Her shop and staff are really nice and it provides a peaceful environment--which is much needed for those pampering themselves. It even extends to the customers where everyone is joyous based on the culture. Please note that I drive 30 mins and pass several salons to get this service and it makes my day every time! Well...The first time I visited this salon my nails and toes were flawless...so of course I came back! Today...not so much...look at my toes...this is a prank right? Nope these are fresh out the nail salon toes....I came in and my big toes looked the same and they were the SAME square shape...now..lol..idk what is going on with my feet. On another note...My nails look great and I'm happy with them (and she did them standing up while I was getting my toes...by someone else..(a guy) But my toes...sad

This was my second time at nails lounge. I had a very good experience the first time so was looking forward to my visit. I went in on a Thursday afternoon and was able to walk in without an appointment. I opted for SNS with extensions since my nails were already cut super short. I liked how my nails came out on the first day but on third day i started noticing all of my nails lifting? I've never had this happen before from getting SNS done and it's quiet annoying to look at :( disappointing to see this happening just less than week from the visit.

What a bunch of fake reviews! Worst experience ever! I have the ugliest, uneven nail ever! I made gel manicure appt with this place weeks ago, but she rushed me so much when there were walk in costumers coming in! If you can take anyone anytime what's the point of making an appointment in advance! I paid full price 45$ for the ugliest gel nail and gave her tip 10$, cause I respect others time eventho they do the ugliest job with most unprofessional attitude! Please if u don't respect others time do not take appointments! read more

Update: I did a Touch of Moonlight spa pedi this time instead of the classic and it was AMAZING. It took awhile, as expected with all of the add-on services, and my feet look and feel so refreshed. This time I had a wonderful male tech who was exceptionally detailed. :) ---------------- This place is fantastic! Everything is new and neutral in tone. There's a young woman who helps run the salon who is simply lovely to talk to! I called 30 minutes before closing and she said she would absolutely do a gel mani and pedi, which she didn't have to do because it was my fault for calling so late but she did and as a mom I really appreciated her flexibility. There's a ton of colors available. The OPI colors with a number attached are available in the matching gel as well. There's snacks, water and soda also available. Pricing is excellent! A basic pedicure is $27 and they go up from there, plus paraffin is included! Gel mani is $33. You get a discount for bundling services. If you sign up with your phone number you get text coupons like I just did for a spa pedi. Happy hour is Monday - Friday from 10am to 3pm, 15% off gel manicures and 20% off pedicures! Finally, my manicure looked fresh and well done. It also held up well. read more

I have always gotten very long acrylics and not everyone can do them. I asked for long coffin nails. Nancy gave me the very best manicure i've ever gotten. The colour I choose required a lot of skill to apply evenly and she was able to achieve full opacity! The attention to detail was perfect and was easily the best manicure i've ever gotten!! Wow! If I can rate this place 6 stars or more I would! Nancy and Mandy were absolutely amazing! They took there time to do me and my friends nails. They were able to fit us in same day!! They were calm and respectful and they made great conversation with us. They didn't rush AT ALL!! There equipment was completely sterilized and they had lysol wipes, hand sanitizer, and spray. I saw them clean down after every person and that made me feel comfortable! Even the bathroom was sparkling clean which I loved! I will absolutely be coming back to this place!!! read more

I am in town this week to visit family for Thanksgiving and was strongly recommended to visit Nails Lounge by my friends. Oh my! The service was amazing and i love the end results of both my nails and toes. The salon was busy however i did not feel like being rushed at all! I came here as soon as they opened, I waited a few minutes for the technician to arrive. When it started taking a little long someone came over and started on my nails until my tech arrived. When she arrived she cut my cuticles twice, they both bleed profusely. I then got a gel polish that has since peeled and cracked (started 4 days after the manicure). Has never happened to me before. Very disappointed, was hoping to make it my new nail salon but cannot risk it. read more

Not terrible but not the best. The nest thing about this place is that they were easy to accommodate us with short notice for a pedicure. All the instruments were in sealed sterilized packets. The pedicure itself was Just okay. I still left with extremely dry skin on my heels (they barely scrubbed my feet) and the polish was done as well as I could have done at home. Cute place but lacking on the service. read more

I honestly could cry w what I got today. I don't normally do self care on myself bc I'm a super busy mom &I don't have much to spend on myself.. its getting pricey out here but I finally had a day to myself and said hey I deserve this ... I came to this nail salon for a mani and pedi. I asked for a regular pedi but while I was on the seat I was given the form if I wanted to add anything to my pedicure. I saw a pedi and mani gel was $68 so I told and pointed to the lady that's what I wanted.... She didn't do the gel pedi.... I didn't make a big deal I was like okay I just won't be charged for that maybe she forgot... I asked for oval shaped gel mani... I didn't get a oval shape idk what this shape is tbh the paint job is horrible there was people in the salon so I didn't want to say no I hate this and embarrass someone. So I paid and I called the salon as soon as I left... the owner I believe or manager told me I basically have to deal with this there's no refund or partial or my other choice is I get some discount off next time I go but I don't want to go back to a salon that did this... I should've just stayed home and did self care on myself and would've gotten better results at this point w out the stress and loss of money... which sucks. read more

Made a last minute appointment on a Sunday morning due to finally having time for a pedicure. Messaged the salon through Yelp and received a reply instantly. Scheduled an appointment right away. Upon arriving I was greeted and tended to immediately (which I greatly appreciated). I choose to get a pedicure that was priced at $35 (forgot the name). I must say this was a pleasant experience! I like to visit a place more than once before I leave a review. This place not only is super friendly but they make you feel at home during your whole visit. The staff is very talented and patient with any request you may have. I have never had a bad wax, mani, or pedi here. Since the new owner the place has went from neighborhood nail shop to glamour nail shop. The exceptional cleanliness and practices they take is better than any other shop I've been to. The remodel has given the shop a new feel that makes you want to come back over and over and forget that you are in Virginia. I will be a regular customer to this amazing shop. read more

I asked if he could style it like in the reference pictures I showed (simple waves, to reduce Farquaad-ness). He tried to do it with the brush/dryer, which obviously wasn't working, and didn't want to use a flatiron. So I just suffered through scalding heat on my scalp and hair pulling. I got told I don't have curly hair. I got told I don't have frizzy hair. I, in fact, have both of those. Some other minor things: 1. When I got home I had some hair that was noticeably longer than the rest, like it never got cut. So...I had to do it. Just a few strands, but normally stylists check for that when your hair is dry. 2. I almost never use heat on my hair, so I asked for recs and mentioned a specific brand doesn't work for me. He immediately said he loves that brand. I said yeah...but it doesn't work for me. Anything else? "Any salon brand." Cool. Not helpful. 3. Asked for something at the end to tame the pieces that were sticking out (again, I have frizzy hair). He looked...confused? Smoothing as a last step has been standard at every other place I've been to. There is nothing in the whole salon like that? Also, my introvert-self just wants to go somewhere where I don't have to be engaged in conversation the whole time. Anyway. Won't go back, my hunt continues.

As there's nothing worse than worrying about if you're going to have a ticket waiting for you after your spa service SMH. Upon entering, we're always personally greeted by Jenny. Now, I'm not the warm and fuzzy type, but there is a certain draw about her. She is so warm and caring, which directly translates into her work. Her products and methods are top notch. At the start of the facial, she always steams your face to open those pores up - then she gets to work with a lovely exfoliating mask and then layers on all the goodies. By the end of my facial, I kinda feel like a princess. And my husband, who is a very easygoing guy, says "that was nice," which is huge for him lol. He approved of the men's skincare products used, and he was absolutely radiant for the following week. So, while spending time with Jenny, I was also introduced to cupping. As I understand/lived it - Jenny has a gun that she attaches a cup to, then she attaches the cup to wherever you're tense. For me, my left shoulder/upper back get really tight, so she attached a few cups to my tense area using the suction gun. Then for a few minutes she left them on and they did their thing... The suction cups lift the skin, allowing more blood and oxygen flow to the tense area, relieving pain and stiffness without medicine. It was a weird sensation, but it did work almost instantly. The only downside is the bruising. It has been seven days and I still have a faint set of circular bruises where my cups were.

I saw the website for this business, but upon clicking on it, I am taken to other businesses that have nothing to do with Jenny's business. I don't think this is intentional, but Jenny might want to get her own webpage set up for herself. Right now her webpage is going to other businesses and one can't get the prices for her lists of services. I hope this problem is fixed soon. As for now, I will have to call and find out. Update: After speaking to Jenny, She informed me that there are different types of facials she does. Costs go from $150, $170 and $200 not including tip. Waxing is only for the eyebrows and Jenny only works on the face. Jenny doesn't do body treatments of any kind except the face. Hope this helps. As for going here, the prices I was told about seem a little to step for me. I would also want body work done and Jenny said she doesn't do that. I might make an appointment, but until that day..."C'est la vie", say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell..."

The nails looked overly thick, bulky, and uneven. After showing them to multiple people, I was repeatedly told that the nails needed to be fixed and did not look professionally done. That confirmed my concerns, so I contacted the salon within the timeframe stated in their policy. The salon's policy clearly states that if a customer is not satisfied, the service will be redone within 3 days. Despite reaching out within that period and providing photos, the salon refused to fix the issues with my nails. A guarantee means nothing if a business refuses to honor it when a customer has a legitimate concern. The photos speak for themselves. The nails are noticeably thick and poorly shaped, yet instead of standing behind their work, the salon chose not to honor the policy they advertise. I wasn't asking for a refund--I simply wanted them to correct the work and honor their 3-day satisfaction guarantee. Good customer service means addressing concerns and standing behind your work, not dismissing them. Unfortunately, because of the poor workmanship and even worse customer service, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this salon to others.
