Then I asked a cashier in a local store where she got her nails done because they looked beautiful. She highly recommended Nails R Us. From my first visit there, I have been 100% happy. We stopped here on a Friday evening - 30 minutes before the place closed without an appointment and they graciously served us. Tracy did my manicure perfectly and my nails looked beautiful after! There is a huge selection of nail color. There are about 8 seats for hands and about 4 seats for pedicures. There are many workers and we didn't have to wait even on a Friday evening. I wish I could rate this 0 stars. I had a bad experience here and will never be going back. I got a gel manicure done that was $35 and I had an appointment so they were prepared and had the time. I did have a bit of a more challenging picture to duplicate but I wish they would've said they couldn't do it than what they did. The nails look worse than me doing them myself. My one nail is gold sparkles while the rest of the nails have silver sparkles and it was supposed to be clear and she made the base peach. I made sure to express that it was clear and she said she understood. She also filed my nails down to nothing even though I said I liked the length. Upon arriving for my appointment I was told to pick a color and wait. I waited tor a half hour which was a tad annoying but the people were very nice. When I was sat at a table, the lady took my hands and placed it on a towel....... A towel that had clearly NOT BEEN WASHED between customers. I had the misfortune of touching some other person's nail clippings. At this point I blacked out as to save myself from truly recognizing how dirty this place was. When my nails were drying, the woman went to start a pedicure. Then when I was done I went up to pay and the same woman stopped the pedicure to check me out. She had gloves on while doing the pedicure THAT SHE DIDNT TAKE OFF while handling my credit card and receipt. This place was very gross. Covid or not, it is not sanitary in my opinion. read more

I went as a walk- in to have a gel manicure removed as I am having surgery and cannot have polish of any kind on my nails. There was a man sitting by the front door and asked what I wanted. He had me sit at the station closest to the register, which leads me to believe this guy is the owner of the salon. He proceeded to turn the dremel on full blast and completely destroyed my nails. The dremel got so hot on my nails since it was on full blast and he kept dremeling when he even got down to my actual nail. It was incredibly painful and when I pulled my hand away he said "I have to to get it off" . No, you don't. I have been getting my nails done for many years and have not once been burnt and nails turned into paper. After I told him he was burning me, I thought he would not continue the way he was. Nope, he proceeded to do the same thing. When I pulled my hand away (because he was burning me) he gave me the dirtiest look. He finally turned the machine down then. Just in time for the last nail. I had long natural nails under the gel, and they were completely shredded by the end. They had to be completely cut down. He then stops and says, "$15 dollars". I'm still sitting there with my hands covered in gel powder still. He station was also COVERED in other people's nail dust and layers of it. I looked around, and the floors were as well. I never post reviews like this, but this guy actually hurt me and destroyed my nails. My nails are now so thin they are tearing and so painful. It will take months to heal. After all of that, he didn't even remove all of the gel. I realized after I paid he charged me for "acrylic removal" also. I did not have acrylic nails. read more

This is my go to nail salon! I always do a dip powder manicure. They have a large selection of colors and are always getting new ones. The process is quick and efficient and I absolutely love my nails every time. I recently moved out of state and whenever I visit my parents I make sure to make an appointment! Discovered this great nail Salon after trying a few others. They are hands down the best around. When I first started coming here I had acrylic nails. Then I was going in for knee replacement surgery so I had them taken off and did the powder dip. I've been doing the powder ever since. Last time I had my first ever professional pedicure at age 80. My friend and I had such a horrible experience here. We made appointments online for 2:30 last Friday and arrived right on time. Neither of us were taken back until 2:50 and it was obvious they had either overbooked or forgot about us. When I finally sit down the whole experience felt so rushed, the tech had switched my chair twice as well as my friend's. The nails came out EXTREMELY thick it looks like I have bubbles on my fingers. And when she finally finishes up she leaves my nails looking like this. There was dip powder all over my fingers and underneath them. When I got up to pay I asked the man who looked like the manager why my nails looked like this and he said "you can scrub them off when you get home". He proceeded to charge my full price when the nails looked this horrible. Don't come here, I will never be coming back. read more

I went there after a friend recommended them in August. I haven't had time or money or let alone energy to go; but I did last Saturday. Michael rushed through my nails. Not even a day into having my dip nails, they lifted. I called and they quickly got me in to "fix" them. 4 days after I had initially been there. Instead of removing the lifted nails, they filed them and applied more gel on top. THEY ARE STILL LIFTED UNDERNEATH. They leave the powder all over your hands....didn't have me wash my hands either time. The girls are so nice and good at their job but their boss Michael is not. So hopefully this was a one off experience, and I am in customer service so I understand things don't always go perfectly... But with that being said, I had an absolutely awful experience here. I went in as a walk-in for a dip manicure. The nails were over powdered and look like a bubble on my nails. I told him it looked thick and his response was "no it's fine." Then he told me to go wash my hands after the LED light cycle was over. When I return to my seat after washing my hands, someone was already sitting in my seat with my purse and my phone still sitting there. I understand they were busy but that made me uncomfortable. I also noticed he had already jumped in another seat and was doing another guests nails (within 1 minute of me washing my nails). So I had to go over to him and ask him to fix my nails because the dip powder was so thick that it was actually stuck between the bottom of my nail and the top of my finger. I didn't even realize how terrible it truly looked until I went out to my car. I couldn't believe they let me walk out the building/I let myself out of the building with nails looking as horrendous as these. read more

Dirty salon. Workers aren't polite. They don't listen to what you want done for your nails and they're not helpful. Colors are thrown together on a rack in a big mess. Bathroom is dirty, hallway leading up to the bathroom is dirty. I don't see anybody wiping down anything in the entire salon. Very small in there and just not a nice place to spend your money. Would not recommend. Went here on a whim to get a mani and pedi. The staff was nice enough however the finished product wasn't great. I had two different techs and felt like both rushed through the services and were preoccupied with things going on in the salon- like talking to each other or to other patrons, and trying to multitask too much. Also, it didn't seem very clean- tables and tools covered with dust, no visible sanitary machine. The person doing my manicure kept pulling my arm over the table to make it more comfortable and accommodating for him. I didn't appreciate this and felt uncomfortable throughout my service. He rushed through my service and my nails had SO much dip powder residue around the cuticle and underneath my nail. The final product isn't smooth and shiny, and has little bumps and air bubbles. The woman doing my pedicure made me feel like I'm a grimy person for needing/wanting that service. As a nurse, my feet get beat up...that's why I get regular pedicures. I don't need someone showing me the amount of calloused skin being removed. Giving two stars because they were nice. Will not return. read more

I went in today to get my acrylics off and they made me wait 20 minutes. They ended up trying to drill down my acrylic nails to blend in with my real nails and tried to tell me that these are my real nails and that the acrylics just vanished. The acrylics are still on my nails! They are just blended in to my real nails. I asked to take my acrilycs off and I didnt't get what I asked for. i called in about 30 minutes before coming into the salon to make sure they had availability for 2 gel pedicure and one gel manicure. they told us the time would be great and to come on in. when we entered we were greeted right away and told they would keep us together during the pedicures. they split us up saying never mind and started on my wife. they asked her 4 times total what type of pedicure she wanted. she told them the regular one with gel polish over and over and she kept trying to get her a spa pedicure which is $75. finally she took the hint. several people came in after us and they were sat in the pedicure chair before i was. i didn't say anything to not cause a scene. they were very overbooked. every chair in the place was filled, they were all taking turns working on certain people- not one person doing one thing. prices for services are too high, customer service is a ZERO. the job they did was mediocre. simple clear and white- not too hard to mess up. the pedicure chair was dirty with crumbs in it and everything. not cleaned between people at all. this lady had all 7 of her kids with her taking up chairs that were placed in the walkway read more

The man who did it rushed and cut my cuticles... then he had the nerve to tell me that I must be really sensitive. Now I have sensitive nails, but that's not excuse for cutting me. Recently the service has been going downhill. Some people here are great, but many have an attitude. First, I tried to book three separate appointments through the online booking that were in no way confirmed or denied. Secondly, when I finally got an appointment I had to wait over 30 min to get in a seat. The woman that I had was aggressive with me and cut me with the nail grinder on my finger. She hardly said sorry and then moved on even after I said I was hurt. I understand a nick here and there but this was on my underhand not on my nail bed. She continued to have a poor attitude when I noticed my cuticles were not pushed back. She never went back and pushed them up or clipped them. They already look grown out when I was still in the chair. When she applied the polish she made it look globby, thick, and did not cover my entire nail. Services that were supposed to be included in the manicure such as a a warm towel and cuticle oil had to be asked for and met with an eye roll. When it was time to pay, she did not even wait for me to pay or tip before walking away to the back room. My nails look disgusting, grown out, and clumpy, my finger is cut, and I am so upset with this experience. Oh and there's nail polish all over my skin too.... NEVER coming back and I have been a long time customer. People I know have stopped coming here and I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but now I know why. They should be ashamed with not providing services that they say they will and also hurting their clients with no remorse. read more

This is a very busy salon but the staff is always very pleasant and they do a nice job. I recommend calling for an appointment rather than just walking in. They are open 7 days which is nice. Price for a dip manicure is lower than surrounding salons. It's not high-end but you get a decent mani/pedi for the price. They don't do hand massages or put lotion on your hands; they just do the manicure. There are a lot of repeat customers and they try to remember everyone's names. Really disappointed. Had a 11am appointment for a dip mani, they didn't wrap my nails until 11:40pm. Once I'm finally wrapped, they move me to another chair. (To my amazement: They have odd dip powder that is mood polish style? Yanno, the kind you use when you're 8... this isn't explained anywhere so initially my nails looked white. When I asked why, the technician explained it to me and I had to change polishes.) I'm then moved to another chair. They kept apologizing but it's clear that they overbooked and we're rushing. Next I'm told to sit tight and wait for a top coat to dry... meanwhile my skin is completely painted with said top coat. I was told it was time to pay from who looks like the manager. I asked him if he could remove the top coat from my skin and he scrubbed so hard that he ripped the skin near my cuticle and it started bleeding. At this point I was very fed up. (2 hours later) The manager insisted that he needed to finish clearing the polish from my skin and I said: "no thank you, I really need to leave now". He asked over and over again, with tweezers in his hand to give him my hand. He even had the audacity to try to reach and grab my hand. Now I am frantic to get out of there, no idea why this man would try to reach for my hand after I said no multiple times. He then grabs my card and tells me it's 35$. I couldn't believe he'd charge me full price after all of that!! He said "everyone pays 35$, everyone!". I left my tip $ on the counter, although 4 people helped me I guess they could all split it. He tried to hand me some kind of coupon as if I'd want to come back... This was thee most uncomfortable experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Absolutely disgusting. read more

Used to go here frequently in previous years and always thought they did a good job. Went back a few weeks ago and I'll never be back. The guy who was there working would not stop talking and was saying some really strange things. They didn't do a good job, gel all over my hands and fingers and off the sides of the nail bed. The gel started peeling from the bottom of the nail 1.5 weeks after, but the gel at the top of my nail was SO difficult for the next place to get off.
