I loved that my appointment started on time - nothing is more annoying than making an appointment and still having to wait 10-15 mins (which happens frequently at other salons). It's super small, with only two chairs, so you have to make an appointment in advance. Also - make sure you have enough time. My technician was extremely detail oriented, so my gel mani and pedicure took just under two hours. Full disclosure, it's a bit pricier than other places (gel manicure - $40 and regular pedicure - $35) but totally 100% worth it. Easily the best manicure and pedicure I've had in mount pleasant. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Once my old polish was taken off, my nail artist, Mike, asked me if i had wanted the $8 french tips or the $15 ones. He had shown me two pictures off of google the difference in design, i went with the $8 one because who pays $15 dollars for french tips?? Well i guess they thought some people did, after about an hour to an hour and a half i ended up with this (the picture shown) and was shocked. I asked Mike what he meant by the difference in the french tips, considering that on their website the french tips were ONLY $8. When i confronted him about this issue he assured me i had no idea what he was talking about. He also tried earlier throughout the experience to get me to cut off my real natural nail and add on a tip, because it would look prettier, which i denied multiple times. I talked with who seemed to be the manager and he confirmed that there was a difference in french tips and that they need to update their website. He offered to fix my nails and was very understanding, i ended up taking the french tips off and when i asked for a refund on just the french he denied. My honest opinion, don't go here. I have been going to a small business girl who does nails all by herself and has done 100x better than any salon i've been too. I've had to resort to Gloss due to the fact she was out of town and i was leaving soon as well. I wish i could say something good about this place but i can't. I should have to be at a nail salon for 2 hours just to get french on my natural nails. I am also pretty understanding when it comes to nails and their artist, but this was just terrible. My client loved the environment and seemed to have a good time. They brought her some water. She asked my client if she wanted her nails buffed shiny instead of clear gloss. She said sure and it did make them shiny. This was one of the first time I went to a nail place where the person getting the manicure didn't Soak their fingers in warm soapy water. She just had them trimmed. Some lotion and buffed the nails. Took less than 15 min. I don't think I'll bring her back. It was very expensive for a manicure. With tip it was around $40. Regular manicures usually run about 20. I didn't take any pics.

Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. The technician who did my manicure seemed rushed from the start. My cuticles were trimmed so aggressively that they were bleeding, and the polish application was sloppy. When she finished, she immediately got up and walked to the back and never returned. I was left sitting there and had to pick up my jacket and purse and carry them myself to the drying table. In the process, I smudged a couple of nails. I tried to find the technician to fix them but couldn't locate her. At that point, I just wanted to leave. It's disappointing because the salon clearly has talented staff, but the inconsistency in service really took away from what should have been a pleasant visit. I hope management addresses this so all clients receive the same level of care.
