My mom and I went in together and had two totally different experiences together, sitting right next to each other. First of all... why does a regular pedicure cost $25 and a gel pedicure $40? That's $15 more just for the gel?? Usually is $5-10 more at other places... so I felt duped when they told me that difference. I got a regular pedicure and the lady working on me did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable and gave me a nice long massage, while my mom was kept waiting for at least 20 minutes next to me with her gel pedicure.. wouldn't it have been smarter to start with her since hers is gel if you're going to keep someone waiting..? Poor time management and decision making. Her technician was a male who was lacking in most areas but she walked away with at least a decent paint job so I am ending with review with 3/5 stars. The young lady doing my manicure kept pointing the spotlight into my eyes and walking away despite the fact that I kept pointing it towards my hands instead--she found this very amusing and smirked at her colleagues repeatedly every time she moved it back. She didn't polish the tips properly, therefore giving me chips starting from the tips the very next night despite having a top coat--this is below amateur. The young man who did my pedicure mismatched all the nail lengths oft pedicure in relation to the other foot and even to the toenails on the same foot--some were longer some were shorter and none matched the toes on the opposite foot. Also, my roommate who frequently has acrylic nails and has them last for a long time had a break within a week and a half. This place is far below mediocre. read more

This place is horrendous. Break down of what happened this morning: Went in at 11am, place was EMPTY and had NO AIR CONDITIONING! Asked for "basic Mani/Pedi" - was seated and lady started buffing my cuticles before soaking hands????? I got confused as a manicure you always soak hands first. I told her I had nail polish on two nails and to remove them, lady nods her head and buffs away my nail polish instead of using nail polish REMOVER! Then nail tech said I have really bad cuticles and said I needed a manicure. I told her "This is what I came in for.......basic mani and pedicure." She looks back at her employees and talks in Vietnamese while others gave me a bad look. She then started to soak my fingers in warm water, and did all that was necessary in a very basic manicure. She told me to go wash my hands and quickly ran to her other employees where they were watching something on their iPad. When she finally put on my nail polish, she did it really sloppy not caring that she missed all sides of my nail beds!!!!!! Then she told me to sit in the other chair to start my pedicure. She rinses my feet off then starts to buff my toe nails. I said "Are you going to file away my calluses??" She said, "You want pedicure??" I said "YES, this is what I told you I wanted from the beginning." She starts to run the bath with salts. She took little time and detail on my pedicure. Did not cut my toe nails, if you notice in one of the pics I uploaded - my nails are chipped and crooked. She barely filed my nails AT ALL. And what's worse, was she did not remove any of my dead skin on my heel or help with my calluses. (Please reference photos as well). I was out of there by 11:45am. A full mani and pedi only took her 45 minutes. Wow. REALLY??? She did not allow me to sit and dry my nail colors - instead she put on my sandal directly right after and wanted me to pay. I have been coming here every couple of months for two years now. Usually, depending on the time, they seat me quite quickly. Only once have I had to wait about 30 minutes but that was during rush hours on a Saturday. I love this place! It is clean, they do a great job and it is affordable! Very kind customer service! I walked in 15 minutes prior to closing time and they still took me. The guy (I don't know how to spell his name, but he's the younger one out of all) was very nice and talkative. Kept me company. I love the place. It's nice looking! There's two TV's as well. The pedicure was $25 for the basic one. I heard the "Happy Feet" was $35 and it was really nice with oranges and what not. So I'll try that next time I come visit. I don't usually get my nails done outside of the house, but I'll definitely come back for another pedicure. Oh and it was my first legit pedicure! I hate getting pedicures. I mean, I love having my feet sloughed and rubbed and prettified, but I hate sitting on that massage throne whlie someone sits below me rubbing my big white legs. It feels wrong. But I NEED pedicures, especially when it is sandal season. If you saw my feet before yesterday, you would have agreed. This place is your typical nail place. But I know I've paid more for a less throrough pedicure so I thought that I would share. For example, I'd never gotten the warm rock rub down on my legs and feet before, that was very nice. Seems like at slightly nicer places I've been, that wouldn't just come with the generic $20 pedi. They don't have personal DVD players or anything fussy like that but I got to watch Ellen on their TV which was entertainment enough for me. Since I can't put 0 stars I am giving this a one star rating. My friend Edith walked into this salon to have her legs waxed. The wax left a rash and did not remove all of the hair. They left wax all over her legs. They refused to reimburse her for the horrible job. She also had a pedicure and they cut her toe. Horrible experience. Don't step foot in this salon or you may not leave with all of your digits. They were racist and talking about black people saying "They are Bushy" Edith is Hispanic and felt very offended because her husband is a handsome black man. I've been going to this nail salon for about 2 years now and absolutely LOVE it! After going today, I told my hubs it was so great that I'm going to Yelp about it! His response was - are you really this time? (Apparently I say that a lot) So here I am actually YELPING ABOUT IT! This place is great! No, they're not super fancy and you will not be offered a tropical beverage. What you will get instead is a great staff, a nice relaxing atmosphere & good prices! There are two employees that always do exceptionally well and coincidently, they're both named Henry! Usually, I'd prefer to never have a guy do my pedicures OR manicures but now I find myself always requesting one of the Henrys depending on what I'm in for. One is older than the other so lets just call them Young Henry, and Less Young Henry lol. Less Young Henry is the absolute best for pedicures! He is super detail oriented and gives amazing massages. I was so relaxed during the massage portion today that I actually fell asleep! The happy feet pedicure is my go to. Young Henry is incredible for manicures! Henry understands that precision and is key when it comes to manis. 98% of my best manicures have come from Young Henry. read more

Meh, this place is OK. I really wanted to like it, but it's nothing special. Cindy is pretty good for shellacs. I'd ask for her (she works everyday but monday). Shellac & nexgen are reasonably priced. Just pay attention as they do shellac, i've had a few instances of chipping the next day.. but i've always gone back & they've been willing to fix it free of cost. I walked in about an hour before closing. Typical nail salon, the ladies were friendly and I was seated in my spa chair upon arrival. I was offered complimentary wine, soda or water right off the bat and was presented with a menu of services. I thought to myself that the pedicure options seemed expensive, at least for the deluxe options. They are probably priced comparably to most salons, I just don't have any reference for that. I figured what the hell, it's been too long since I've had a pedi and I've worked hard lately, so I splurged on the $55 Milk & Honey treatment. There were about a dozen options, this one had the works. I assure you I was not disappointed at all. I was there for nearly two hours, which is a positive thing, since most of my time was spent having my legs and feet massaged with the tray of scrubs, lotions and oils that indeed smelled like milk and honey. There was paraffin wax, hot stones, exfoliating, soaking, lotion and free wine. You may expect to be rushed out when you arrive at the end of the day, but I certainly did not get that impression. I felt welcome the entire time and they did not rush me one bit. One of the ladies insisted on helping me with my sandals, I almost couldn't stop her! She was super nice and I appreciated her kindness. The music was loud but pleasant. The TV played a typical prime time show with subtitles. It's a family operation and there were several generations present, including kids. They were cute and well behaved. I left feeling great and as though I got my money's worth.
