The amazing tech listened when I pleaded, "Please, no cheese grater... let's show my crust a little respect." She softened my feet with callus remover, gently pumiced, scrubbed, masked, and even rubbed an orange slice into each leg like I was at some tropical resort. The hot paraffin wax wrap? Bliss. I basically ascended to a higher plane of foot existence. I was so impressed, I asked for a manicure too. I warned her my hands were just as tragic, but she worked her magic -- scrubs, masks, more orange slices (I swear I left smelling like a spa smoothie). But the real MVP moment?
