I got the CBD Volcano Pedicure with Hot Stone, Paraffin Wax, and Gel, and let me tell you -- I walked in with hooves and walked out with feet fit for royalty. The amazing tech listened when I pleaded, "Please, no cheese grater... let's show my crust a little respect." She softened my feet with callus remover, gently pumiced, scrubbed, masked, and even rubbed an orange slice into each leg like I was at some tropical resort. The hot paraffin wax wrap? Bliss. I basically ascended to a higher plane of foot existence. I was so impressed, I asked for a manicure too. I warned her my hands were just as tragic, but she worked her magic -- scrubs, masks, more orange slices (I swear I left smelling like a spa smoothie). But the real MVP moment? After hearing that I've been a full-time mom to a medically complex kid and haven't had a moment for self-care in 5+ years, she surprised me with the same gorgeous cat's eye iridescent gel polish I was admiring on her nails -- as a gift, from one mom to another. I have been coming here for over a year now, and I absolutely LOVE it every time! I usually just do a basic color gel on my actual nails, but this time I did a design for our first trip to Disney as a family. I showed the nail tech my idea, and she got it exactly as I wanted. I also brought my 5 year old daughter, and the staff was so patient and so kind, as they have been every time I've come in over the last year. Everything is clean, and usually pretty quiet. It's my first time here. The shop was very clean and well organized. I was so impressed with the hospitality and friendliness. On the top of that, my nails turned out fabulous! I just showed her a picture and she made it right! I love my nails so much. I keep getting compliments wherever I go. Nowadays people tends to give a bad review as soon as they're not happy and unsatisfied, but when they're happy, and satisfied. They don't say anything about it. It's kinda unfair. Cindy is the best. Meh. There really was NOTHING special going on with this place, and my pedicure + neck massage cost $57... Which in my opinion weren't really worth it. The foot massage was non-existent, my nail tech definitely cut my toes a few times, and my toes look like something I would do (IE not great). I also requested a shoulder massage, but it was done very spastically... And wasn't relaxing at all. I won't go back to this place, that's for sure, but I will say, everyone was very nice! read more

Some of the technicians are cunning and manipulative, however, I have met the very best manicurist there!! Make sure ur nail tech speaks English so they can understand what your concerns are. Tell them what YOU WANT. I got into a disagreement about a pedicure. I wanted a standard no frills pedicure. I was told it wasn't possible!! I should have left. I don't support lying. read more

Second time here at Awesome Nails and my tech Alex did an "Awesome" job. Get it? Lol The shop has an extremely clean and nice ambients. Not sure how rowdy or loud it can get when busy but when I was there on a Friday I was taken care of quits quickly. The safety steps that the staffs and manager take is clearly noticable. I am all for that now a day consider how shady and unclean most places are now a day. Alex took his time and was very gentle which I highly appreciate. His attention to detail was much appreciated. I love my new set! Also the price here seem to be much more reasonable or atleast to me compare to other around the area. The amount of color and option they have can be overwhelming for those that are indecisive like i am though, but its so nice and colorful to look at. This really used to be my favorite nail shop in peachtree city but after yesterday I probably won't be back. From my nail tech being frustrated or having an attitude about something or whatever and tossing/slamming around tweezers, her finger covers Etc to her getting polish on my hand and using a buff bar to scrap it off leaving the top of my hand red scratched up and sore it was overall a bad experience. I still paid and left a tip as to not cause issues but the $75 definitely wasn't worth it . read more

This place is the best place in the Atlanta-metro area! I've gotten my nails done in Sandy Springs, Atlanta, Fayetteville, Peachtree, and nothing tops this place! If you're an acrylic type of girl just trust me and go here. Most places I find my acrylics are super thick on top of my nails and they're heavy and uncomfortable and ugly! The best I could describe it is the hump on a beluga whale's nose... that's how my nails usually turned out at the other places I've been! Not only am I used to chunky, uncomfortably thick acrylics, but I am used to them never getting the shape right. If I go and ask for stiletto I usually walk away with some kind of almond, but that isn't the case here! If I say stiletto I get pointy beautiful stiletto nails, picture perfect! In the case of my photo for this review I got almond shape because I was feeling a more practical nail, but the almond shape they did for me was absolutely perfect! They're so dainty and symmetrical I'm so in love! Other issues I've had with other places are them being too rough on my nail bed which makes my fingers ache when they buff or file, but here that hasn't happened! I've also been burned/cut with others' little electric buffing tool, and that has not happened. Oh and the gunk of acrylic mess under your nails? They buff that off! This is like the only place I've ever been that gets ALL of it off! They have such an incredible selection of colors, dips, glitters, and film designs all you have to do is show them a picture and trust me they've got you! They are so nice, so quick, and so friendly I can't say enough nice things! Please trust this amazing business with your nails, you won't regret it! read more

But I guess if you're not a regular, or getting something "fancy" (dip, gel, SMS whatever) they can't be bothered to do that good of a job or pay attention to you. They haven't even told me about how to pay.... Just abandoned me to "dry" even though the dryer fans are so weak I can't feel them. My daughter and I recently went to get my toenails and her nails done. Kim who my daughter got was pushy and didn't do what my daughter wanted but did what she thought she needed! She wanted to get her nail tips done with SNS and instead got a French gel nails because that's what Kim wanted her to do! She was even racist. Never going back! read more

(NAIL INFECTION CENTRAL) I went to get a manicure and pedicure and have never been so disappointed. I had came in with a grown out set of nails and decided to get a new set. The lady who did my nails was totally unprofessional. She was rushing and took off my acrylics in the most aggressive way possible. She Also when shaping my nails was literally just filing my SKIN! Not even my nails. (She also cut my skin 3 times causing me to bleed.) I now have red, dry, swelling and infected fingertips due to this place. Please go anywhere else but here. UPDATE: I had to go to urgent care (found out the nail salon had exposed my nerve endings in my fingers and they were really infected.) I then went back up to the Awesome Nails to request a refund because my nails were INFECTED, they told me it was MY FAULT! and that they couldn't do anything for me besides give me 50% off next time. I have been getting my nails done in PTC for MANY years . I tried a new place . "Awesome " Nails thinking awesome nails ! Hmmmm ok I'll give it a try . I had a pedicure , French .....day 2 my toe nails look horrible all chipped ! I paid for a pedicure & for my daughter to get a full set gel . It was $129.00 and that did not include tip . Kevin did my pedicure and was very sweet but kept saying, callus remover , $5 dollar more and I was handed a menu for classic but he jacked up my price ! Smelly cold towels and everything was $5 dollar more . My daughter kept getting her appointment interrupted by her tech standing up and walking around taking pictures of everyone saying oh look people we are busy ! She acted as if this was the busiest nail spa. It was hot in there , no air ! The WORSE experience ever and the receipt was itemized and added in extras and up charges where normally it's included in a nice service for pedicures but they kept adding on to a basic service. So sad. Do not go in there with a LV handbag because you will see up charges like no tomorrow!!! I feel as if I flushed all that $$$$ down the drain . I plan to call the owner to share my feelings and hopefully resolve a few things but I hope he can understand me . I honestly would AVOID going here !!! True disappointment! read more
