What a weird experience. I walked in and the what looked like manager/owner was asleep on the pedicure chairs. The woman doing my nails cut my cuticle and I yelled "ouch!" And she didn't apologize. I got a gel manicure and it looks so awful - the tips are dark and the nail bed is see through. I got my nails done special for my bachelorette & sigh, they look pretty bad. Won't be back, which is too bad because it's nearby. Also, reading the other reviews and the businesses' responses are incredibly rude & ridiculous.

Stopped in with a friend last minute when the salon we normally go to couldn't take us as a walk in -- and I never thought I would say it but I am glad that we had to relocate! The people who greeted us were nice and friendly -- we did the typical choose a color and wait for one of the stations to free up. The salon person took their time and gave extra attention and care to massaging my feet & legs, and was meticulous with the polish on my toes. One of the things I loved was not feeling judged or too awkward-- I know that sounds weird but it can be intimidating sometimes through language barrier or salon techs talking to each other while doing their work and I was so thankful that this didn't happen during my session. This place is definitely on the hidden side, it's located in the Shaw's plaza - but is worth a stop in. I can't vouch for their tanning services but there seemed to be a steady stream of people in and out of the tanning booths.

BEST NAIL SALON!! I DON'T TRUST ANYONE ELSE TO TOUCH MY NAILS. I have been going to get my nails done here once a month for over a year and every time they do an amazing job. I get the powder manicure and it looks amazing, last weeks and is done for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend 11/10

I went here with a group for a social gathering. Never again will I step foot in that place. I have never had such a terrible manicure in my life. I know this sounds incredibly dramatic and first world problem, which it totally is. But damn, I could have done a better job myself. My nails have air bubbles all over them and the coats are so embarrassingly uneven. The first coat is fine, but the manicurist did such a careless and sloppy job on the second coat that the edges on both sides of my 10 fingers got missed. I never write reviews, but if you could see my nails you'd understand!

Shared my feedback and asked if she was okay having her staff put their feet on countertops. She said and I quote "I've owned this salon for 33 years and I don't care". I let her know that's her prerogative and appreciated her sharing, at which point she began to yell and scream at me over the phone - I've NEVER had a business owner do that to me, ever! I asked her not to yell and she said it was because I told Jess I was going to leave reviews online. I let her know that was unacceptable and I would not be treated like that. I asked her if she would refund my money as I would no longer be utilizing her services. Mind you, I've spent thousands of dollars there, I would implore her to research my account and see how much money I've spent. She said she would, and I asked if she or Jessica could call me when completed. I instantly got a "No, I'll cut you a check and I don't have to call you when it's been cut". Again, screaming at me, being rude and acting like a disrespectful professional. I have no idea how she's made it this far with her business and lack of professionalism and acumen, but I can only imagine it's because there is no real competition around. Beware of how the Diane owner will treat you should you have a conflict and want to address the challenge in a mature fashion. Unfortunately, frontline retail employees come and go (it's the nature of business) but loyal customers are hard to come by. Diane, thank you for showing me your true colors and how you operate a business. The State of Vermont may do nothing, but I will share my sanitation concerns with them and request they pull camera footage to corroborate my story. I would suggest next time someone has a concern, listen, act like a lady, try to resolve the matter and like a respectful business owner would. Hailey won't be there forever (and I ultimately wish her success) but word of mouth, reviews and how you treat your customers lasts forever.

After many visits to Mirror Mirror- I'm finally just over it…read more This company is a total disaster. My brother generously sent me a $350 gift card for Christmas, but because he left out my middle initial in the email address, it never arrived. When he reached out to resolve it, their response was basically, 'Too bad, we can't reissue the card.' He wasn't even asking for a reissue--just confirmation it hadn't been redeemed and to send it to the correct email. Instead, they gave him the runaround, claiming they needed to involve some mythical 'IT guy' who clearly never showed up. Multiple emails later? Silence. We finally canceled the charge. Similarly ... about 2 months ago, I stopped by to buy mascara and asked about a concealer. The associate didn't bother asking what I was looking for--just grabbed the first one she saw and tossed it on the counter and began ringing me up. When I asked about the color, she looked at me like I was the worst kind of audacious and wasting her time... she handed me off to someone else who didn't yet have knowledge of the product they had for concealer. Then there was last year, when they snuck (and obviously charged me for) a $40 bronzer case into my purchase without informing me of the item. Then - I went for a facial where they upsold me with a "dermaplane" feature which in the end was not done with a professional tool but a plastic razor you can get at a drug store. Finally, I once got my brows laminated there and it just didn't work- like at all... and they responded with "oh yeah this service doesn't work on thicker eyebrows sometimes" end of story.... Like I'm sorry then why didn't you say that to start?? I've heard many accounts of similar experiences but I'll leave my review to reflect my experiences as the ones I've heard are already outlined in other reviews. Unapologetically dishonest is the vibe I've gotten and I just think that sucks.

It's not the products so much as it is the cost. I know, I know, good products cost $$. I get it…read more But I went in to replace my concealer (purchased 8 wks ago) and the price had gone up $10. I have the $10 - it's the principal. Also nothing every has a price tag on it, but that has been the way they've done business since I've been going there. It's a beautiful shop that also offers services. It's just plain too expensive (for me).
