I went for a no chip manicure and pedicure. I had an appointment and the nail tech was a half hour late. Then she was rushing so that she could go home on-time. In the process, she cut my thumb cuticles too much and they bled badly. Also, somehow she messed up and grabbed the wrong color for my toes. By the time I noticed the salon was closed and I had to travel for work. Also, the color barely lasted a week on my nails! At other salons, they can last 2 to 3 weeks! Clearly the tech did something wrong. I didn't change what I do with my hands. Also, the way she used the drill caused one of my nails to get very weak and break!I I called the owner when I got back in town to share my concerns and disappointment in the service I received. She apologized and offered to fix it for free and I made an appointment with the owner. I even left work early and she was not there and didn't even have the decency to call to let me know! I'm so livid and DO NOT RECCOMEND this place!!! Very poor customer service. Other nail salons do a much better job formless money and know how to treat their customers with respect! This is unacceptable on so many levels!!! read more

To be honest, I'm not sure why the reviews are not better for this place! They've done amazing nails for me every single time I go!! They are so sweet whenever I ask them to fix anything or change something for me and they are never in a rush and always make sure it looks the best that it can be!! They seemed very sweet and love to build connections with current customers, they are clean and have many spaces open for multiple nail techs...the only cons are that they frequently double book and over book so make sure they give enough time in between clients for your appt so you're not waiting like me and my gf were for 30 min and they still hadn't even started on polish. Also the store is somewhat easily accessible just weird with one door at the front of the store and a door that looks like the front of the store but is the back door. Other than that they seem like they do a great job for average pricing on manicures and pedicures! Hope this helps!! read more

Walked in for the first time a couple days ago around 5:55ish pm. They happily took me in. on a Wednesday.think they finished right at 7pm. Paid $82 just for nails,shape and French color , couple days ago just for my set. In total. Then walked in today Saturday , to fix my set and told the owner I would even pay whatever it was to fix my nails..and brought in my mom to get her pedicure today, so not only did I bring them more service...as the owner was correcting my nails she literally just handled me upset and disturbed, she burned my fingernails 3 times ! After my last ouch she just looked at me and slapped another topper of the drill to finish my last 2 fingers. I felt so so uncomfortable as if I did something wrong. I didn't mind paying, I should have still been treated rightfully. She was talkitive to me couple days ago. I thought I had found my place. But not going there anymore. She spoke English fairly well , to be nice and talk to me and let me know what to do and not do, instead she really mishandled me. But I am thankful she was willing to fix my nails even with the experience And I still left a generous tip. Another $85 spend after 2 days later but that's including my mom's pedicure + gel and the fix and tip. It should have been a better experience especially since I didn't go in there rude, more willingly to be kind and respectful and see if they could do it with me still paying for it. Under new owners again. This will be my 3rd new ownership I've seen since coming here for about 10 years. I was lucky enough to be notified by the previous owners they were leaving but encouraged me to continue to come here and give the new owners a chance. It does look like Kelly just up and left everything, inside looks the same. I went in for a fill for acrylic nails. Nails came out good. New owners were very nice, sat and talked with me. My mom and I used to always go to Julie's Nails (for over 10 years!) but continued to have really negative experiences there, so we came to Nails Etc about 6 months ago to try something new. So happy we discovered this place. I have never had such a wonderful and thorough foot massage with a basic pedicure. It always looks beautiful and it feels so relaxing. Additionally, they always do a beautiful job on my gel fills. I typically do a pink and white ombré with chrome, and they turn out perfect every time. We never have a long wait when we come, and they are so friendly and accommodating. This is one of the best nail places in the area! It is under new management and thank goodness because you can see the difference. They take their time with their services, they actually chat with you and remember you! Their customer service is one of the best. I went during the week while my child was in a sports event and they let me hang out in the massage chair afterwards while my nails dried. It was so nice to just chill and not feel rushed. Been to many places and while this has happened before it's never a good thing and shows there's a problem whether it's experience or just bad technique. I got a pedicure and the older man who did mine cut the big toe nail too far down into the cuticle which made it bleed and the rest of the week it was sore and painful. Came here to get my eyebrows done because my regular place had a wait and I didn't have time to wait. Walked in and the lady told me to go to a room in the back, she was on a phone call and I assumed she'd get off the phone before coming into the room.. I assumed wrong!! She was on her phone ( on her air pods) the ENTIRE time she was waxing my eyebrows! How annoying and unprofessional! I never don't give a tip and I didn't tip her ! She could've hung up her phone and tended to her customer and called back! I couldn't understand what the conversation was because she was speaking in her language but she was giggling and having a jolly time so I know it wasn't an emergency phone call. I love this place. They have done beautiful work each time I've come. I have done both gels and shellac on my finger nails both with beautiful results. Pedicures are always fantastic and thorough. They have those cheese grater things that totally take all the dead skin off!! One thing I've noticed about most pedicure places is that their massages are disappointing. I've always had a great foot massage here. That is important to me. I don't know how a previous reviewer said her pedicure was so expensive. They cost the same as most salons around here. First of all, Davis did a fantastic job with my feet and the massage...massage is what I was really after. Not as long of a time for a Deluxe as most places...but they WERE $10 less than most. The reason for the 3 stars was the greeting I got from the owner when I walked in. I felt like I walked into another dimension! This was my first time there. I chose it for my birthday pedicure and had called 2 days before for an appt. I was 15 mins late which is my fault of course, but when I walked in the owner pointed that out from her chair across the room so everyone could hear. She told me I was very late...she must have thought I wasn't able to tell time. She had no idea what happened before I got there to make me late. She loudly let me know that they thought I was not coming so they gave my appt to someome else. I was fine with waiting. This was still across the room I front of everyone there. I didn't engage except to ask her if she wanted me to leave...and then said I didn't mind waiting...or who I got. But she still wasn't done. If I had not had a gift cert I would have left then. Those are the hilites of my experience there. Not a great start to my pedicure at a new place. I won't be going back. read more

I'm honestly shocked this place can still be open. $25 bucks for a regular fill? Especially for a mediocre fill, that seems silly to me. And that was for a ROUND shaped bar they deemed almond. I honestly never write negative reviews, because I've worked in customer service, and I feel like people always complain about something. But the fill was sloppily done and dust was left on my hands (I wasn't told to wash them) while paint was applied. Overall, I really feel like this place is sub par, considering LT nails is right across the street with a better price and more advanced technicians. I won't be back. I'm so sad writing this review but because I had such a bad experience I have to write. I've never had a worse no chip and pedicure . I've been coming here on off for over 10 years but not last few years. My no chip was slapped on and edges are all messed up my cuticles have polish on them and the guy wasn't nice at all. Really sucks cause they used to be good. Lack of color options for real , guy said he had over 500 but 5 nude colors which I was looking for. I know it's not for everyone but I'm used to an entire palate of it ! My pedicure looks like a kid did it. I made comments while doing it but it's so embarrassing really speaking your mind because in a weird way they make you feel bad :( sadly I won't be returning. I went here thinking they had a great price for a pink and white set.The tech that did my nails was in such a rush and was rough with my nails that they bled.Two weeks later I came n showing what happened to my thumb how his reckless job ripped off my real nail and all I got was that they were sorry.It took close to two months for it to heal and I went to another salon and they weren;t as rough and they look great. read more

I went there to get eyelash extensions, very cheap, nice staff but they cut my lower eyelashes off because the glue had gotten stuck, they also charged me extra because my eye was twitching a lot??? Also when they eventually fell off they took my real eyelashes with it. Never going back. read more

I would not recommend getting a pedicure there, there aren't many techs who do a very good job. I called there 2 weeks ago asking the price of a gel fill & was told $20, which is the same as my normal place, but I was in town so I wanted to go there. I got there & was told it's $30 & the tech who did my nails clearly had no idea what she was doing. She had to remove my nail polish 3 times on several fingers and redo it because she kept messing up. I was there 30 minutes longer than I should have been because of her mistakes and was still charged full price for my nails. Needless to say, I will not be going back there. read more
