I'm sharing this simply because I was excited to tell everyone this was something worth doing but $200+ for 3weeks is not worth it at all. I went in on July 24th for lamination, tint and shaping. It was my first time ever getting my eyebrows like this done as I have only threaded. I wanted to minimize my get ready times having 2 little ones and always being on the go. I was very happy with my end results, however the receptionist who checked me out gave me care instructions that included some oil thing and a card that said to use it on my eyebrows within 24/48hrs. and to not wet them. I thought it was odd since I thought I had heard no oil based products to help it last but hey being my first time I went off the instructions. I waited the 48hrs on not wetting and started putting the oil on receptionist gave me also after the 48hrs. I noticed within a few days the tint was gone. I thought it was odd so I called. Kylie who I will say was great mentioned I could come in so she can see them in person. She mentioned it happens and they'd make an exception and only fix/redo the tint. I was a bit confused since I'm under the impression this lasts 4/6weeks. I quickly learned that's not the case about the tint, fine but I would expect the lamination to last 4/6wks. I then tell her about the oil thing the receptionist gave me to use and she seems confused and mentions not sure why the receptionist gave you that, no wonder the tint came off. She mentioned that shouldn't have happened and apologized she didn't personally check me out and gave me instructions. I scheduled an appointment because they were hosting a Mother's Day event, and one of my favorite nurse injectors was going to be there. When I called to book, I also wanted to bring my mom along for a little beauty touch-up with the nurse as it was supposed to be a Mother's Day event, after all. But I was told there was no availability for her, which was disappointing. Then, two days later, I received a notification asking if I wanted to book her after all. By that point, it felt disorganized. I think I had higher expectations for the event overall, I assumed it would be more exclusive or special, maybe even private but it ended up feeling like a regular appointment day with some promotions added. Since I was already going, I figured I might as well get my brows done too. When I arrived, the front desk staff were really sweet and welcoming. After a short wait, I was seated with Adriana. We had a quick conversation about my goals and how I was a bit nervous about the outcome. She reassured me and got started. At first, she waxed and laminated my brows. But right after that step, they looked patchy and spars and they clearly needed to be filled in, probably because of over-waxing and trimming (maybe process) . She asked if I wanted to keep it that way or tint them. I told her right away that I needed tint to fill in, there was no way I could leave them like that. She continued shaping and trimming to create a defined brow shape so the tint could cover the imperfections and pull everything together. Once finished, they looked great, way better than filling them in with makeup. But after just two weeks, the tint faded, and my brows were visibly too short and over-trimmed. Without the tint, the flaws were very noticeable. The full process took about 45 minutes. While I was happy with the initial results, my main issue is the price. Lamination, wax, and tint came out to $178, and with tip, the total was $200. I didn't ask for pricing beforehand, but I expected it to be somewhere around $100-$120. The cost itself isn't the biggest issue and more about the value. For comparison, I get a haircut and color at a high-end salon for $160, and a keratin treatment for $250. So it's hard to justify spending nearly the same amount for brows, especially when the results only lasted a few weeks. As a business owner, I do understand overhead costs, but I still don't think the pricing is justified based on how long the results last. Adriana told me I could return in 2-3 weeks for a tint touch-up or wait six weeks for the next full service, and to avoid oil-based makeup removers in the meantime. I asked about the "ugly phase" when the brows lose shape, and she said there wasn't one which turned out to be true. The effect didn't fade gradually, it just disappeared from one day to the next. One last note: Adriana spoke to one of the front desk girls in a tone that came across as rude. It didn't sit well with me. It was about having her order food and to clean up from the event before she left as she had already seemed to have clocked out. The way she asked was rude. The staff was kind and the brows initially looked great, the experience didn't meet my expectations.The results didn't last, and the pricing felt excessive. I expected more for what I paid. I'm injured and needed to get into the parking spots reserved for a quick ten minute stop, In front of the pharmacy that I needed to go to. I received a brow lamination with shaping and tint for $180 and unfortunately had a very poor experience. After the appointment, I discovered burns from the wax that later developed into scabs, as well as over-processed lamination that left my brows dry, scraggly, and pointing in different directions. Initially, the tint masked the imperfections, but once it faded, the damage became clear. I had no idea the wax had burned me until I noticed the scabs later. Over-processing is extremely damaging, and these issues should not happen at any price point -- especially for such a high-cost service. The experience felt rushed and careless, as though not all customers are given the same level of care and attention. Ive been getting eyelash extensions for more than 3 years off and on with breaks in between to let my lashes rest. After my go to lash place closed, I was looking for a new place near by to have my lashes done and found Naked Beauty Lounge. They booked me with a full set of lashes and although they are a bit overpriced, my lashes looked very good. However, after 3 separate appointments I discovered the lashes don't have good retention and within 2 weeks I would need another fill. The fills are $100. I also had minor issues with the tech that did my lashes. Not sure if she's not very experienced, but she didn't say much of anything on taking care of the lashes. Example: once she finished I asked if I needed to wait to get the lashes wet within the first 24 hours. She said "oh no you can get them wet, our glue works good". No direction before she started or vague answers to my questions. I thought to myself "every other place I've gone always says keep your lashes from getting wet the first day or two". She doesn't talk much and the shop has a cold feel to it-no one talks to each other. I've never seen more than 4 people in there including the owner. Each time I came in, the two young girls at the front would greet me nicely but the owner (who seems to always be there) never said a word to me, even when I was asking questions. I was interested in a membership and my lash tech said she didn't know anything about it and told me to "just take a card and look on the website". I did and there's nothing about a membership. What kind of customer service is this? After my third time of lashes falling out before two weeks I decided to not come back. read more
