Truly the most painful eyebrow threading experience. Unfortunately this place is the closest to me and convenient, however I was left with multiple cuts on both my eyelids due to poor technique. I have been here before and would say it's just "okay". Some days she does good, some days she misses some hairs, and leaves a cut. Never made it a big deal. However, this most recent visit was the worst. Super nice lady, however she had the audacity to say this was because my skin is sensitive. PSA- I don't have sensitive skin nor have I even been this cut up during a threading session at any salon. Such a painful experience, I do not recommend. read more

This was hands down the WORST eyebrow experience I've ever had. The lady who did my brows was incredibly rough she was yanking the thread so hard that she actually cut my skin. My eyebrows were sore and red afterward, and she didn't even seem to care. She was also the only one working on a Sunday, with other customers waiting, and you could tell she was rushing through everyone. She did my eyebrows so fast and carelessly, like she couldn't be bothered to take her time. On top of that, she was rude and completely unprofessional. When I looked in the mirror after, I was shocked. My eyebrows are totally uneven one is thinner, higher, and shaped completely different from the other you can clearly see it in the photos. I had an extremely rude experience at Slick today and won't be returning. When I walked in, the employee barely said hello and gave me annoyed looks. She told me to wait in a chair, so I sat down and tried to ignore it. Maybe she was having a bad day, but she continued to stare at me hard while I was the only person waiting. I ended up leaving. (EYEBROW THREADING) I don't like to leave reviews unless I absolutely have to. The person operating this store/threading eyebrows was incredible rude, unhygienic, and did a very poor job. She was rude and refused to acknowledge me from the moment I walked in the door. After touching her phone, cash, and other peoples faces (6 strangers went ahead of me), she kept the same set of gloves on. I told her about my sensitive skin and asked if she didn't mind to change them, and she gave attitude and treated me like I was crazy. She is very quick with her work, but She thinned my eyebrows out wayyy more than I asked for (I asked for a cleaning and to even them out best she can) and somehow I left with them even more uneven and extremely thin. 1. Terrible customer service, the lady who works on Saturday seems so upset to even be there. Let alone when she gets customer it seems to upset her even more. 2. The pressure she used on me was too much(as you can tell) I've been going to get my eyebrows threaded for years and no one has ever done this to my skin. I went in for eyebrows, then asked if I could do lip as well, and without cleaning the area from my right eyebrow she straight went to my lip and started threading it, moving around my lip gloss, and without changing the thread, she tried to move to my left eyebrow! I had to tell her that thread has lipgloss on it then she says oh, and replaces it very unsanitary. Went in for a simple eyebrow threading. As I walked i told the lady (didn't catch a name) I had product on my brows. She said ok and went straight to work. Never removed the makeup off my brows. in fact, to remove the loose hairs from my brows she whipped my eyes with her bare hands so I wrapped a napkin myself and started cleaning the hairs on my face. mortified at this point I got up to pay, she never said one word to me. Not even telling me how much the service was, I used the board as a guide to pay. Looks like she had an ear piece in and was on the phone. Stay away from this place at all costs. read more

Horrible experience. I went in to thread some chin hair. I decided to do it since I was in the area. I go inside and find Nikki. She threaded my hair and went so rough and fast on my chin as she was doing it. I instantly saw my chin bleed. I asked her and she said that's what happens when "it's your first time". Well it was NOT my first time. I did threading 5 times before on my chin and I was NEVER left bleeding. I accepted the fact and left the store after I unfortunately paid. The whole damn day my face was burning me!! I used an ice pack all night. The next day my chin INSTANTLY SCABBED!! I used antibiotics cream. I went in to remove hair that I was insecure about and I left the store and now I'm even more insecure about these scabs on my face. They should hope it doesn't scar my face. This morning I called Nikki on the phone, called her out for what she did to my face, and she said "I'm sorry you feel that way." Feel what way?!? You RUINED MY FACE!! read more

I heard a voice yell out from the back room saying they would be there in a few. I asked for eyebrow wax and she proceeded with the threading. She said it's better and cleaning - I shouldn't have allowed it. She was very aggressive and kept ignoring my request as far as shape. It's been three days and my skin is still bruised and I have small hematomas from her aggression. I bleed and she didn't bothered to hand me a tissue nor she did apologize. Will not be returning. Listen to the bad reviews. Just left this place with badly misshapen eyebrows. But worse than the shape of my eyebrows was the customer service provided by Nicky. Since I walked in, she looked absolutely miserable. Didn't ask how I wanted my eyebrows. I had to tell her, "Can you just clean them up, please?" She proceeded to thread in a pretty aggressive manner. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years, and no one has been that brash. After she was done, she gave me a mirror to look at my eyebrows. I said, "they're so thin." Her response: " yea, because you had a lot of gaps." Dear Nicky: that's precisely why I told you "just clean them up please." I would probably not have left a bad review just for bad eyebrows. My brows came out a bit crooked, didn't want to argue it but worse, the girl Nikki refused to combine my rewards/ punch cards which I can't think of a logical reason why besides trying to get more visits out of customers before allowing them to redeem a free visit.
