I was able to schedule a few hours fairly quickly, and the person who came to our house was very polite, wore a mask, and was very attentive to the specific things that I needed cleaned in our home. SO disappointed in Naked Clean and I had high hopes. I feel that I was a little deceived on the pricing. I had mentioned that for the cost, I wanted 4 hours of cleaning. Two very sweet women showed up today and I had to walk them through what exactly I wanted clean since I had what I thought was 4 hours. All I wanted done was the kitchen, bathrooms and the tile floor downstairs. As my husband works from home, he informed me they left after less than two hours and were saying they went over their time. I got home to a half-cleaned kitchen where the rugs were rolled up, the appliances had streaks all over them and floors didn't seem to be cleaned at all. It seemed nothing was really cleaned. Then the company has the nerve to say they went over their time and need more money. Turns out because there were two women, they wanted double the money since two people would equal two hours. I was not aware of that. After talking to reception, she said the women would come out and finish their job, but honestly, we don't want anything to do with this company ever again. I'm really sad that this didn't work out for me. I love the natural products they use. And most of the cleaning staff are very nice people. After about a year of dealing with so many issues, I'm no longer going to use Naked Clean. Let me start off at the beginning.. Ivan came out and did the estimate to find out "what was important to me" We went through the the whole house and he took notes. However none of these things were passed on to the cleaning people, they did none of the things we spoke about. I was not able to let the cleaners know because my Spanish is so limited. The first "deep" clean seemed like a rush clean, and they forgot to do the oven. I had several issues many many calls and emails about my cleaning time. I explained to Ivan in the beginning if this isn't a time they could accomidate, I would need to find a company that could. He assured me it would work out. Then I got calls almost every week about switching times and days. The actual cleaning were usually good, sometimes excellent,but occasionally looked like a rushed job. One of the maids leaned her mop on a shelf filled with glass and broke my shot glasses that I had collected around from the world. Nobody called me afterwards, I called them and the didn't even appologiuse. One of my favorite cleaning people would bring her daughter to help or her cousin, when I asked Kathy if they worked for them also, she got very defensive. I was only asking because I wanted to know if they were insured and also if I needed to pay/tip a little extra for their help. Every time going forward when she brought someone Kathy would and say "since you need to know who's going to be in your house, she's bring so and so today" I just felt it was a bit rude. The last straw was this Friday when she called and said my cleaning person would be late, her car broke down and her son was coming to help her. Long story short, after 3-4 calls to from Kathy, she told me her phone was dead etc. I did not get my cleaning done. My husband sums it up saying they are unprofessional. read more

I requested a "deep clean" but I feel like I got a standard clean and paid for a deep clean price. The two maids were over an hour late, they didn't pay attention to detail (there were several areas that were not even touched such as the kitchen window/blinds, they vacuumed but I had to do it again because there was still dirt on the ground, they didn't even clean the inside of the microwave at all, they said they cleaned the ceiling fans but I looked at it before they left and it was still filthy with dust and I had to ask them to redo it, they wiped the counters but didn't wipe under things like a small box that was on the counter which I offered to move so she could get under it. She just said she would do it, but never even moved it. And the list goes on. For being a first time customer and this being a DEEP CLEAN, I am SOOOO NOT IMPRESSED and very disappointed. This was average at best. I don't like writing bad reviews, but this was very disappointing for me because I was so excited about this place at first. I love the concept of natural products and I was ok with paying a little higher price for it. With all the good reviews I was expecting an amazing deep clean, but instead it felt like any other clean and yet even less attention to detail. I had Naked Clean clean my house one or two times and they did an ok job; the cleaner was talking on her cell phone half the time and was clearly uninterested in the job at hand, but the price was right and they were "green". The problem I had with Naked Clean is they totally flaked out on me. They were over an hour late to the appointment, and when I told them I had to reschedule because they were an hour late they acted like it was my fault and I was inconveniencing them. When I contacted them to reschedule they never even bothered to reply. Bad, bad customer service. There are plenty of cleaners out there that can do a better job for less money. Update: Naked Clean attempts to misconstrue these comments as being from a competitor. What a joke. I am just an unhappy customer who had a bad experience with their company. If they would focus on improving their business instead of belittling people who give them a bad review, maybe they wouldn't get bad reviews. I was unemployed for 10 long, broke months. I kept telling myself that if I land a great paying job, I'm putting housekeeping in the budget. That's exactly what I did, and I had no idea how awesome having someone come to the house to clean would be!! I'm thrilled to bits!! I emailed Naked Clean for a quote, got a call shortly thereafter and that same day Dave came out to get an idea of how much space we have so he could get us a good price. We have about 1200 sq feet, with two bathrooms - and we pay $75 every two weeks. Whatever the stuff is that they use smells fantastic - I love that its all natural, no chemicals, etc. We get the same lady every time (man I wish I could remember her name -eek!), she does a great job, although I do have to say she does get on her cellphone more than one should while working. Whatevs! I don't have to clean my house!! And I should also point out that she is trustworthy - my cash stash is still where I always keep it. Dave sent me a schedule for the rest of the year so that I could let him know what days may not work. When I emailed to say that I needed to change a date, he promptly got back to me with a different day, no problem. Naked Clean's actual cleaning service is average, but the office management (Patty and Veronica) are so rude and unwilling to provide good customer service. I do not believe, as Veronica attempts to assert, that poor reviews are given by competitors because I agree with a previous review from David in Cardiff that Naked Clean is "petty and vindictive." Naked Clean is more interested in arguing with customers to prove they are right, rather than customer satisfaction. I would recommend finding a different cleaning company. I personally would rather take a vacation day from work and clean my house myself than to ever deal with Naked Clean again. I own a property in Oceanside and have used Naked Clean twice....and no more. I will give the maids credit, they do work really hard and will get your place clean. However, communicating with the office staff is like communicating with a porcupine in a balloon factory.....futile. In short, I paid a little more because more maids showed up to work than what I asked for. I only needed a couple items cleaned, not the whole house and asked for 1 maid for their minimum of two hours. Two maids showed up and told my property manager it would take 4 hours. They only stayed for two (no kidding) but I had to take that out of someone else's deposit and I didn't like charging someone an extra $70.00. They did not offer any kind of incentive for the mix up and oh believe me, I got emails to show how mixed up things got for such a simple task. My 3 roommates and I decided we're sick of our dirty house (we hate cleaning). A coworker of had told me before that she uses a cleaning service for her condo, so one day I brought this up to my roommates. We tried out Naked Clean because--okay, lets be honest, the name rocks...hahaha :) So, I called 'em. I got their voicemail (blah), but they returned my call like two minutes later (yay!). They described their services, and laid out their pricing options pretty clearly. We were actually surprised at how cheap they were for a house as big as ours (which is good, because two of us hate spending money). Anyway, after having them over twice a month for the last three months, let me tell you--this is the best money you'll spend all month (besides beer and carne asada). I come home every day, and the house is just -clean-. It's an awesome feeling--very calming. Now, this is one reason they're actually unique from the cleaning place my coworker has (which, by the way, she continues to use only because their office is in her neighborhood). When they're done cleaning, the house doesn't smell like a hospital. It smells almost like you're inside Jamba Juice. And I could swear that I haven't sneezed once inside my house since we started using them. The owner says it's because they use natural ingredients in their cleaners--no weird chemicals or anything. Works for me! Anywho, I absolutely love what these guys do, and have recommended it to a couple of my friends, who also love it. I -highly- recommend it to anyone. Seriously. It was my first time with Naked Clean, and I won't do any business with them. First of all they are more expensive than many of their competitions. The maids were very nice and did a decent job. But the customer service was terrible. Many things were unclear, and she was telling me she sent me a disclosure via email which I never received, even in the spam box. We almost paid more than what we needed to because she was keep adding extra fees. For the third time when she called, she finally apologized and gave us the original estimate. Do not trust the coupon that you get because it will be like 3 times more expensive at the end. You should want to make the customer happy so you get repeat business. read more

We purposely went out of our way to try Naked Clean over the maid we loved. We weren't having issues with our maid, we just wanted to see what the fuss was about and the pricing couldn't be beat. However, the choice we made to go organic, safe and eco-friendly did not work to our benefit. We gave it a year but we are happy to say we no longer deal with Naked Clean. Initially things were going great - we had our assigned maid and her assistant and they were good, but over time, there were issues. It started with a regular shuffling of our maid's assistant - every visit there was someone new. We particularly had issues with different people constantly filtering through our home. Upon bringing this to the management's attention they assured me that there would be some consistency moving forward and that if there were any changes to personnel they would let me know before coming by the house. After some time our maid began showing up with 3-4 people total. The result of which was half-assed cleaning and general neglect of entire areas. On more than one occasion I had to request that they come back to clean areas that weren't even touched. There were also issues with scheduling and missed appointments. In the end, we got sick and complaining about the poor job they were doing and fired them. Too bad, because the maid herself was great - it just seemed that as a team the company didn't have it together. read more

After waiting almost 2 hours for my cleaners in a completely moved out house, I can only allow myself to give them 1 star. My roommates and I were moving out of our home and were looking for a cleaning service at short notice. Naked Clean had availability and I scheduled a clean for 2pm. When I received my confirmation via email, it said that the arrival time was between 1:30-2:30pm. I thought it was strange that they gave a 1 hour time gap for them to arrive, but we were in need of a clean and the reviews seemed good, so I thought it'd be worth it. My apartment had already been completely moved out of so there was nothing in it. I showed up at around 1:15pm in case they were early and waited...and waited...and waited. By 2:20pm, I was getting a little nervous, so I called the company. The first person I spoke to said she didn't have any reservation under my name. EEK! That made me nervous, but she politely asked if she could call me back as she figured out what was going on. I was then given a call back and told that my cleaners' previous clean had ran late but they were on their way. This is something that should have been communicated to me without me having to call the company. I asked what time I could expect them to arrive and she said she wasn't sure and had already hung up the phone with them so she didn't know. This would have also been helpful information! I ended up waiting another 40 minutes until they arrived at 3:10pm. I was extremely disappointed by how late they were, but also how poorly communicated this was to me. I literally sat around with absolutely nothing to do in an empty home for close to two hours. While the people I spoke to on the phone were apologetic, it doesn't take away from the fact that the clean was shorter than the amount of time I actually had to wait. When the cleaners arrived, I had written down a list of the items needed to be cleaned in a priority order like I had been told to do. However, the cleaners had difficulty communicating with me due to language barriers so the list I created was also useless. They also were unable to help me with questions I had about who to write the check out to and if they would be the ones collecting it, so I had to call the company back again. Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with Naked Clean. I'm disappointed about the overall service I received but mostly about the fact that I wasted such a huge portion of my day when I had other things to do. With my wife and I both working long hours and also having a one year old, two dogs, and a cat running around the house, it's hard to keep things clean. We looked into a number of cleaning services and ultimately decided to try Naked Clean based off of the reviews here on Yelp. As many other reviewers have mentioned, Naked Clean didn't just send someone out right away to begin cleaning, they took the time to visit our home and discuss our needs and cleaning schedule. We were able to decide the granularity of the cleaning including whether or not things like the interior of the refrigerator or blinds would be cleaned. After the details were discussed, they provided us with a quote and a proposed cleaning schedule (we opted for every other week). Our first appointment took place a day after our home visit (which we were thrilled for as we had family coming in from out of town). We've had the same woman cleaning our house since we began service about two months ago and she's great. Not only does she do an amazing job keeping our home clean, she's not bothered by our pets and is very sweet to our daughter who is often running around the house. Another benefit of Naked Clean is that they communicate often and very thoroughly by email, sending appointment reminders and other pertinent information. This works great for me as I'm often working at my desk and can quickly read and/or respond to their messages. The only reason why Naked Clean gets 4 stars from me instead of 5 is the fact that there have been a few minor customer service issues. After my initial cleaning, I paid with my checking card over the phone, but was not informed that the card would be kept on file for future payments. I do appreciate the ease of the automatic payments, although had I known they were going to keep the card on file I would have used a different card initially. The other incident was a mixup with scheduling, where our housecleaner showed up unexpectedly after we had changed an appointment. Again, overall we're very pleased with the quality of service and professionalism of Naked Clean, and the few issues we've had we're trivial. I would strongly recommend Naked Clean to anyone looking for a quality house cleaning service in North County. read more
