We purposely went out of our way to try Naked Clean over the maid we loved. We weren't having issues with our maid, we just wanted to see what the fuss was about and the pricing couldn't be beat. However, the choice we made to go organic, safe and eco-friendly did not work to our benefit. We gave it a year but we are happy to say we no longer deal with Naked Clean. Initially things were going great - we had our assigned maid and her assistant and they were good, but over time, there were issues. It started with a regular shuffling of our maid's assistant - every visit there was someone new. We particularly had issues with different people constantly filtering through our home. Upon bringing this to the management's attention they assured me that there would be some consistency moving forward and that if there were any changes to personnel they would let me know before coming by the house. After some time our maid began showing up with 3-4 people total. The result of which was half-assed cleaning and general neglect of entire areas. On more than one occasion I had to request that they come back to clean areas that weren't even touched. There were also issues with scheduling and missed appointments. In the end, we got sick and complaining about the poor job they were doing and fired them. After waiting almost 2 hours for my cleaners in a completely moved out house, I can only allow myself to give them 1 star. My roommates and I were moving out of our home and were looking for a cleaning service at short notice. Naked Clean had availability and I scheduled a clean for 2pm. When I received my confirmation via email, it said that the arrival time was between 1:30-2:30pm. I thought it was strange that they gave a 1 hour time gap for them to arrive, but we were in need of a clean and the reviews seemed good, so I thought it'd be worth it. My apartment had already been completely moved out of so there was nothing in it. I showed up at around 1:15pm in case they were early and waited...and waited...and waited. By 2:20pm, I was getting a little nervous, so I called the company. The first person I spoke to said she didn't have any reservation under my name. EEK! That made me nervous, but she politely asked if she could call me back as she figured out what was going on. I was then given a call back and told that my cleaners' previous clean had ran late but they were on their way. This is something that should have been communicated to me without me having to call the company. I asked what time I could expect them to arrive and she said she wasn't sure and had already hung up the phone with them so she didn't know. This would have also been helpful information! I ended up waiting another 40 minutes until they arrived at 3:10pm. I was extremely disappointed by how late they were, but also how poorly communicated this was to me. I literally sat around with absolutely nothing to do in an empty home for close to two hours. While the people I spoke to on the phone were apologetic, it doesn't take away from the fact that the clean was shorter than the amount of time I actually had to wait. When the cleaners arrived, I had written down a list of the items needed to be cleaned in a priority order like I had been told to do. However, the cleaners had difficulty communicating with me due to language barriers so the list I created was also useless. They also were unable to help me with questions I had about who to write the check out to and if they would be the ones collecting it, so I had to call the company back again. Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with Naked Clean. I'm disappointed about the overall service I received but mostly about the fact that I wasted such a huge portion of my day when I had other things to do. Out of the 286 reviews, I've written on yelp, this is only the 4th 1 star review I've left. This is how badly this experience ruined my day. read more

With my wife and I both working long hours and also having a one year old, two dogs, and a cat running around the house, it's hard to keep things clean. We looked into a number of cleaning services and ultimately decided to try Naked Clean based off of the reviews here on Yelp. As many other reviewers have mentioned, Naked Clean didn't just send someone out right away to begin cleaning, they took the time to visit our home and discuss our needs and cleaning schedule. We were able to decide the granularity of the cleaning including whether or not things like the interior of the refrigerator or blinds would be cleaned. After the details were discussed, they provided us with a quote and a proposed cleaning schedule (we opted for every other week). Our first appointment took place a day after our home visit (which we were thrilled for as we had family coming in from out of town). We've had the same woman cleaning our house since we began service about two months ago and she's great. Not only does she do an amazing job keeping our home clean, she's not bothered by our pets and is very sweet to our daughter who is often running around the house. Another benefit of Naked Clean is that they communicate often and very thoroughly by email, sending appointment reminders and other pertinent information. This works great for me as I'm often working at my desk and can quickly read and/or respond to their messages. The only reason why Naked Clean gets 4 stars from me instead of 5 is the fact that there have been a few minor customer service issues. After my initial cleaning, I paid with my checking card over the phone, but was not informed that the card would be kept on file for future payments. I do appreciate the ease of the automatic payments, although had I known they were going to keep the card on file I would have used a different card initially. The other incident was a mixup with scheduling, where our housecleaner showed up unexpectedly after we had changed an appointment. Again, overall we're very pleased with the quality of service and professionalism of Naked Clean, and the few issues we've had we're trivial. I hired Naked Clean based upon reputation shared by others, I contracted for a move-in cleaning as well as move-out cleaning. For the move-in they promised three individuals and only two showed up. They were very slow and did a very poor job even missing cleaning fans in master bedroom. After 9 hours that had not even made it to the kitchen, laundry room, and family room. They grossly underestimated the time which is how they bill you (Per hour BE CAREFUL!!!). As my wife came home and saw how poorly they were doing we dismissed them immediately. I cancelled the second service and found another company who was superb and beat Naked Clean's cost by 30%. I had a team of two come to my house for 3 total hours. They vacuumed, cleaned hard floors, dusted, cleaned windows, and did a few other things. Overall I felt like they worked pretty fast and had a pretty good attention to detail. They were professional as well. Only reason I gave them a 4 was because they broke a ceramic water dish my daughter made for our cats 5 years ago. It ended up upsetting my daughter. I will use them again, but would be a bit more strategic about what I had them do. UPDATE: The above was my initial review. As such, I will leave it up, but update it with more information. Shortly after I wrote the review I was called and emailed by Naked Clean. They apologized for the broken item and offered to pay for a new ceramic kit for my daughter so that she would be able to create a new dish for our cats. I am so consistently happy with Naked Clean. I am set up for a condo cleaning every 4 weeks. They send my the email on Sunday reminding me to leave a key and I am set up on auto pay (they did not do this automatically). I have never even met the amazing woman who cleans my house. The cleaners showing up on time is not a problem for me (some other reviewers complained). I just lock my dog up in the back room (that I only get cleaned once in a while) and as long as they show up between 8 and 5 I'm good! Their customer service is great and I am able to talk to someone right away if I need to change my schedule. Once I forgot to leave a key even though I didn't know it until the lady was at my house and they just rescheduled for a few hours later. no problem! I also love the flat rate for house cleaning (depending on weeks between cleaning and number of rooms). I have 5 rooms cleaned every 4 weeks for about $80. Try them out! read more

Must say that this company has been professional every step of the process from my initial inquiry, to coming to my house to give me an estimate, to scheduling my service and finally to having a clean home. So very impressed with not just the house service but the scheduling and customer service on the back end. Sonia came in as scheduled and did a beautiful job in my 2 bdr/1 ba condo. Days later, I find parts of my kitchen that I had no idea she touched and they're perfectly spotless. (Can we talk about how the drip tray of my toaster oven is gleaming now?) Naked Clean has been so easy to work with, and they do an excellent job! We had Isabel and Daniela do a whole home clean for our three-level condo, all hardwood floors, so it wasn't an easy job! They were very thorough covering some items I didn't even ask for, and the home did not smell like chemicals when we got home which I really appreciated. The owner worked around our schedule for bi-weekly cleanings to be completed on our preferred days before we got home from work. Prices were very reasonable and the company was upfront about individual costs, so we could come up with a cleaning schedule within our budget with a focus on areas that were most important to us. We initially were going to do monthly cleanings, but they made biweekly very affordable. We used Naked Clean for both move in and move out services. We had roughly 2500 SF house, and there was a lot that needed done. I have severe allergies and asthma, so I was very concerned about the products and the work that needed done before I could move in. I was assured all the products were eco-friendly and non- toxic. I needed everything deep cleaned from the ceramic tile floors, carpet, ceiling fans, every window blind top to bottom, base boards, every single shelf and cupboard in the kitchen, closet rods, glass, doors, every handle and fixture, lights, oven hood- basically if it was in the house, I needed it cleaned! Teresa and her team did both my move in and my move out and I couldn't have been happier. I did a walk through and explained all my concerns and exactly what I needed and it was ALL taken care of. The move in was much longer because of everything I asked for, and because they did such a great job, I made sure to use them again for the move out. The first time, my husband was there and they kindly cleaned around him but the last few times, they came in and cleaned on their own. They are fantastic!! Everything is always spotless when I get home from work - I couldn't be happier. We appreciate that they use environmentally friendly cleaning supplies although our shower doors could use something a little stronger - maybe we will do that on our own. I have not had one issue with them being there. I've happily used this service for at least 2 years. I'm only stopping now because I'm moving. The people on the phone are very easy to work with. Scheduling was always easy, and they send reminders before every scheduled cleaning. They let you know who will be there (so, if your regular person/team can't come, they'll let you know who is subbing). The team I had was absolutely wonderful (go team Maura!). For the first cleaning or two I had some feedback that I communicated to the main office (I'm obsessed with the bathroom floor being immaculate), and it has never been a problem since! Communication is clear, immediate, and effective. The team always does something extra (switch out laundry, clean the fridge, sweep the patio, etc.). If you want a clean home, don't want to worry about your home security being compromised, and don't want to pay other professionals to clean up after Naked Clean's housekeepers, look elswhere for service. I was a client of Naked Clean for nearly 10 years, and during that time their service went from very good to unacceptably poor as they expanded and began working with what they call "independent maids" instead of employees. Here are just a few issues I encountered: - They left my FRONT DOOR UNLOCKED AND AJAR for an entire day while I was at work. I was beside myself with fear that my pets had escaped and that an intruder could be inside when I saw the open door. I was beyond fortunate that somehow neither of those things happened. - They repeatedly left sticky residue all over my wood floors, which I then had to re-mop, and ultimately had to hire a professional floor cleaner to deep clean. I also had to tell them that they needed to use more than ONE Swiffer-type pad on 3,000 sq ft of flooring, so that the same dirt isn't pushed throughout the house instead of being cleaned. - Despite every-other-week service, they allowed so much white soap scum to build up on the tile in one of our showers that I had to hire a professional stone cleaner to remove it because Naked Clean couldn't fix the problem they caused with standard cleaning products. Between hiring professionals to clean the wood and the tile, I spent over $1,200 to address Naked Clean's shortcomings. - When making the bed, they frequently tucked the sheets in at the head of the bed instead of at the foot of the bed and put the blanket on in the wrong direction, resulting in me having to re-make the bed before being able to sleep in it. One would think a trained housekeeper would know how to properly make a bed. - They forgot to clean major things, like the kitchen. I came home several times to find that the kitchen floor wasn't cleaned at all. It also appears that they weren't cleaning my stone bathroom floors, room-size walk-in closet floors, in corners, or dust that's easily visible under sofas and tables, etc. - They don't follow instructions, even after receiving them multiple times. I called and e-mailed them repeatedly about which products to use and pointed out areas that were improperly cleaned or not cleaned at all. On my second-to-last-visit before I let them go, I asked for a partial credit for some things that they didn't clean. They obliged, but the very next (and final) cleaning, some of those very same things were missed again. After raising concerns, things would go smoothly for a few weeks and then revert downhill again. They will offer you a new team of housekeepers if you complain, but after going through at least three or four teams I can tell you that they all offer pretty much the same careless service. Frankly, shame on me for not canceling service years ago when these problems started. I'm truly embarrassed that I put up with this abysmal service for such a long time, but hope this review will help others will learn from my mistakes and avoid the headaches that Naked Clean causes. read more

We had issues with consistency with our first set of cleaners, but then we got Jessica who was amazing, professional, and always on time. The company was pretty good about accommodating our schedule and adjusting when things came up or we went on vacation. The only reason for 4 stars is the price is a little high, and that the pricing isn't really clear based on what they say they charge. Also, although we prefer Jessica over the other cleaners we had, it just takes a long time with only one cleaner so we had to make sure to be home for a large part of the day.
