I purchased a full syringe for lip filler ($525) upon looking at her instagram work which is indeed phenomenal. When I got to my appt, she started talking about how Botox (lip flip) would be needed for my lip ( which I understand). I showed her an inspiration of her own work that was similar to my lip shape. She said she will only really inject 0.7 instead of a full syringe. (Umm what?) I sort of politely challenged it and she said you're really paying for "the full experience and the numbing injections etc). At the end of it all, there is barely ANY difference in my starting lip and my results which is pretty disappointing. Also did not get the height in upper lip that I wanted. She got very defensive when I mentioned that and said that what I want is only achieved through surgery even though she had done it on another client. I purchased full syringe. I showed picture and said, my top lip needs to be filled. My bottom lip was fine just needed freshening up. She did say, "you know when you sweat filler lessens." When she said that in my head I was thinking is this a pre-warning because what is being done is going to fade fast. I usually get to see the product, she numbed me up so much I couldn't feel, and I trusted her. Yup!!! It was exactly what happened. I've been getting my lips filled for years, every time I get filler it lasts me a long time. After I was injected and the swelling went down by the next week, I have ZERO filler like if nothing has been done. Wasted my money. BEWARE! Before you think of booking Sonia for your injectables please consider my story. I was getting under eye PRF injections (first time) she did one eye and I felt like I was going to faint. I became sick. When I told Sonia the first words out of her mouth was "oh god" in an annoyed tone. She was very cold and not nurturing and comforting as I was laying down feeling sick. She seemed more annoyed than anything and told me she wasn't going to do my other eye. By the way she said I was the 6th person in a week this has happened to!! Her bed side manner handling this situation was not okay. As a service provider and nurse it is her job to comfort and reassure me that everything is going to be okay. Instead I felt scolded by her and she also made me feel like I wasn't wanted there. After talking to others, other girls have told me it's common for people to faint with injectables so I'm not too sure why she was treating me like a nut case. She showed no care at all didn't even bother to follow up to see how I was doing the next day. It was time to pay and she was very standoffish and told me to just come back the following week for the other eye and I paid her $400. I left and that was it it was very awkward. 20 mins later she called and said she's cancelling my next appointment because she spoke with her medical director and now I need to get a medical clearance letter to come back. The conversation was very cold and short and all I said was okay. The time and effort to make a doctors appointment, get blood work done, get a chest xray, get a EKG was a lot! I have such a busy life and I did all this because I'm trying to work with her. I received medical clearance and she told me I cannot come back for treatment. She totally disregarded my medical clearance and just seems to find one excuse after another to not see me anymore. She said because of how i reacted I can't come back. Okay so first of all she didn't say anything of this when I gave her $400!!! She took my money no problem and said I CAN come back After that she has made it a mission to find any excuse to not see me anymore. I'm clearly upset by how I'm being mistreated and instead of her acting professional she yelled at me on the phone, talked to me like I'm a dumbass, and told me the world doesn't stop just because I'm trying to fix this urgent matter. She's coming with every excuse as to why I can't go back but never mentioned any of these reasons when she booked my follow up appointment and took my money!! I'm sorry but I'm a hard working girl and I was excited to finally treat myself and she completely ruined the experience I do not have $400 just laying around! Nor do I have the time to deal with her psychotic and unprofessional episodes ! She is far from professional and I feel completely robbed of my money just to only have one eye done! So, I'm a scared, over-thinking, paranoid baby when it comes to anything involving my face. Even routine dental procedures make me nervous. But after seeing True Essence Aesthetics on IG for a few months, I decided to make an appointment for two small procedures.
