Since we're in Bradenton, I'm figuring that many folks may be coming here looking for a physician for an elderly family member. If that's the case, you've found your man. We were looking for a physician for my grandmother when we moved here, and heard about Dr. Marciales. Since then (about three years ago), we've found him to be patient, caring, compassionate, competent, and extremely experienced caring for the elderly. He takes the time to discuss with both patient and family, and is always available and attentive. His staff is great as well. Last but not least, I should add that being a healthcare professional myself, this is not an easy review to get from me. Dr. Marciales is as good as it gets here in Bradenton.

She believes in preventative care and is extremely professional. Her offices are clean and well run, she truly cares about her patients, and she is easy to talk to. Since money was always an issue for me, she went out of her way to give me samples or discount coupons on my prescription medications, when they were available. She also made sure to discuss every aspect of life with me that would affect my health; such as diet, stress, excercise, family history, and overall well being. She has also given me excellent referrals and worked with my insurance companies to make sure that my preventative care is covered. Sometimes her office staff and nurses can be pushy or rude, since she is in a shared office complex with other doctors.

I have been dealing with a chronic issue that continues to worsen, and she always takes me seriously and does not brush me off, which I genuinely appreciate. I have been in her office in tears, ready to give up and she can always reassure me and bring me back to earth. She never hesitates to make a referral to a specialist, which means a lot. I have been to some primaries who try to know everything and they tend to have you going in circles for a while. I had to physically go into the office to do it and (they marked it as a no show) there was a 3 m month wait before they had an opening, told me to take him to ER or walk in clinic. Finally got him an appt and upon arrival discovered they had relocated the office so we were 15 minutes late and they refused to see him because he was late, we tried to explain we didn't realize they had moved and had went to old location. The office manager talked to us like we were stupid, rolled her eyes and smirked as she walked off. My husband missed a day of work and had drove two and a half hours one way to be at that appt!

In my case waiting 3 months for treatment was not possible so they checked with the doctor and was told that I should go to a clinic or an emergency room for treatment. It is very clear Dr. Leal and his staff are not interested in the health or welfare of their patients. Stay away from this doctor and this medical practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to be able to communicate with my doctor and other staff members. Now I have to contend with a call center. These people know nothing about the Bradenton Florida facility. It has taken over a year for a simple billing issue to be addressed (still not resolved). A few weeks ago I called again to request a meeting with the office manager, Christopher Simmons. I was told that Mr. Simmons doesn't meet with patients. This was the final straw. I am looking for a new provider. I am disappointed because I have been extremely pleased with my doctor, Camille Kasten. However, I can no longer deal with the incompetence of the other staff members.
