Adalecia said yes, we were still good. I had asked for the time of arrival and she hadn't given a time, so I replied with the address and again asked for the time I could expect her. This time, she said she had a family emergency come up and had to go out of town, so she wouldn't be able to do the work on Saturday as scheduled. I get it, emergencies happen, but I was already pretty skeptical with the lack of communication before this, so I figure she had just forgotten about it. I asked when we could reschedule and she said "maybe" she'd be back on Monday and "maybe" we could get it done Tuesday or Wednesday. At this point, I was starting to panic, since I'd scheduled my carpet cleaners for Thursday and we had to be completely out of the house by end of week. I patiently waited until Monday and asked if we would be able to do this Tuesday or Wednesday, but I was met with radio silence.
