    Chicken 65 Biryani

I actually just stopped by to pick up an order, so I can't speak for the atmosphere inside, but the online order process was smooth and I received my correct order promptly. I had the Chicken 65 Biryani which I highly recommend if you like something with a bit of spice. The naan and samosa were also tasty. Good portion size, so you should be able to split a dish or have leftovers for yourself.

We visited Namaste for the first time tonight and had a fantastic experience. Our server, Juni, was wonderful--attentive and welcoming throughout the meal. We ordered the panipuri, chicken tikka masala, and paneer saag, and every dish was excellent and full of flavor. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem. We'll definitely be back!

The momos were excellent and my toddler gobbled them up. The soup was amazing and I'm sorry I've never had it before. Everything was tasty and hot and fresh as usual!

Namaste is a newer restaurant in South St. Louis on Hampton serving Nepalese and Indian Cuisine. You can see the entire menu on their website. Order online without calling. You can even order for a future pick up time. We're starting with the Paneer-Pakora appetizer. It's paneer (Indian cottage cheese) battered and deep-fried. Deep-fried cheese? Yes please! Next up is the Chicken Steamed Mo-Mo. They are ground chicken filled dumplings. You can also get them deep-fried or with veggies instead. Chicken Tekka Masala is my go to at any new restaurant. If you haven't tried it before (and you should) it's marinated chicken cooked in a spiced tomato sauce. The chicken was a bit dry even though it's been marinating in the sauce The sauce was a bit one note. And finally, you must order a Mango Lassi. It's a sweet, creamy mango pulp and yogurt drink. Perfect to cool down the spices or to enjoy as a dessert. Totally delicious. I wish I would have ordered 2 so I wouldn't have had to share.

Pickup up some takeout from here while in the area. The food was ready when promised and the worker was very friendly when I picked up the order. The food I have mixed reviews about: Butter Chicken (2/5), I really wasn't a fan of this one, sauce overly sweet and lacking in flavor, container was mostly sauce with few pieces of chicken, the chicken which was present was pretty dry. Would definitely not get again Chicken 65 (4/5) much better than the butter chicken, and the dish to get at this place. The chicken was tender and had good flavor. Wasn't too spicy either and was good quantity for the price. Would get again Vegetable Pekora (4/5), nicely fried veggie fritters served with mint and plum chutney at a reasonable price. Would get again Kheer (rice pudding), very small portion given but was pretty good. Overall, butter chicken was a huge disappointment but the chicken 65 and pakora are worth trying!

I am writing this while in a food coma. I am no expert on authentic Indian food but I do know that all of the food we ordered was delicious. Both the butter chicken and tikki masala were delicious. The chicken was tender and full of flavor. For the price, I would have liked to have a few more cubes of chicken in each but the flavors alone make up for that. The garlic naan is the perfect balance of ingredients and the texture is spot on. I could eat this all day. The chicken pakora was yummy! My toddler loved it too. The chicken was tender and the flavors were explosive. Probably the best I've had anywhere. Customer service was friendly, it was super clean, the music is always lively and the food is great. Give them a shot! I'll be back

I love Namaste! I always stop by to get their vegetable momos. They are always fresh and cooked to perfection. I love everything from the crisp, crunchy shell (if you get it fried) to the soft, warm, tasty inside. Whenever I run errands and am in the area I will stop by and grab the momos as a quick snack. They are quick and kind. One of these days I will eat at the restaurant.

So yummy! A great addition to the south Hampton neighborhood. The food is amazing and fresh. Every-time I go I want to order everything. The samosas are so good and the Momo is delicious. There are so many options you can try something new every time you go there. The dinning room is does not usually get to crowded but the takeout window is always on fire! Great for dine in or takeout! The food is all freshly made so if you're dining in know that you might be waiting just a bit for fresh food but it's worth it!

I will start off by saying I will come back because I am convinced it deserves higher ratings! The food was hot, fresh, and speedy which to me equates good service. I went with an Indian dish of Chicken tikka masala, veggie samosas, and garlic naan. One reason for my return is to try Nepalese food, and not Indian. The masala was very savory, tomatoey, and more seasoned (also spicier) than any other I've had before (can't say I liked it more, but enjoyable) but the big pieces of undercooked onion and green pepper took away my excitement. The samosas were good but the Tamarind sauce was thinner than I like. The garlic naan was tasty! Overall a good experience and I will be back.

Omg SO good!! Expectations were low. I really wanted a good meal that I didn't have to cook after a stressful day, but it was late and deliver options in STL are limited to begin with. I placed my order shortly before closing which is why I thought I was probably going to get meh food, but everything was fresh and delicious. I'm truly blown away. The fried momo stayed crispy and the sauce tastes just like my friend from Napal makes. The samosa chat is enormous and perfectly spiced. Next time I'll order extra sauce. A little bc the dish is so big but mostly because it's so good I just want more. The saag paneer is incredibly decadent. I imagine it must be loaded with cream and butter by the taste of it - I am not complaining! I do wish that there was more paneer in it, but I always want more paneer so that's probably more a me problem haha The only negative part of the meal are the spiced pickles. There are no pickles! I got like 3 olives and it's just very oily and salty, not spicy at all. Salty enough to burn your mouth though! It has a texture like a lot f powdered spice was added but didn't dissolve. Maybe I just got a bad batch. Overall, I cannot wait to order from here again and can't wait to visit them in person. If it's this good as delivery I'm sure its amazing in person. Now go stuff yourself with momo and chat!!!

The ceilings are very tall, so conversations from others were not heard while dining. Our server was very nice and explained any menu items we needed further clarity on. They start you with what I called veggie straws with a chili oil dipping sauce as a complimentary starter. They serve alcohol--mostly basic cocktails at very reasonable prices. For our appetizer, we ordered Bhindi Fries, which were french fries with their signature sweet chili sauce, which I could describe as what Thai Chili Sauce tastes like. It was topped with chives and cilantro and very irresistible. For our dishes, I ordered chicken Tikka masala while my friend ordered butter chicken. They both had a drizzle of heavy cream for flair. We also ordered garlic butter parathas, which were so flaky, buttery, and heavenly I want to make some at home. It paired well dipping into our dishes or solo. The chicken in my dish was very well seasoned and the perfect amount of heat for me. Every bite I savored! I could not finish my entire meal, so I did save some for lunch the next day, and it was still amazing. We ended our night with mango lassi and definitely plan to dine here again!

Generally I'm a pretty big fan of spicy foods, so i got the lamb vindaloo. the vindaloo was one of several curries which had a three chilli icon next to it, which seemed to indicate that this dish was spicy. the dish came out fairly quickly and came with rice, and my server was pretty friendly. i also got a paratha since i haven't had any indian bread in a while i felt like the vindaloo was fine. the biggest issue i had was that i really didn't think it was spicy at all, despite the fact that this is supposed to be one of the hotter dishes on the menu. probably adjusted for american palette. another issue i had was that i didn't feel like the vindaloo/curry had much depth to it; it tasted fine but wasn't really rich and was almost a little watery. the lamb itself was okay. the standout was probably the bread, though i kind of wish there was a little more overall i thought it was fine. i thought it was actually fairly pricey for what it was: $18 curry, 5 bread, 3 tax and 4 tip comes out to $30 for just an okay lunch, so... eh. maybe i would come back but it would probably depend on how much i felt like indian and if i was in the neighborhood already

Walking in the hostess was kind and cheerful. My waitress came over soon after and was pleasant. Not over the top friendly, but helped me with my order. She never came back. My food was delivered by a young man who seemed like he was having a bad day. He walked over put my plate down, turned around and walked away. I was trying to ask him for salt and pepper, but missed him. Shortly afterwards, an older gentleman who may have been the owner or manager, came over to check on me. The ambience was decent. The lighting was good. The restaurant was clean. The food was also reasonably priced. (I went to another Indian restaurant a few few weeks later and then naan (bread) was $6, which at that location was nearly half the price of my meal! ) The food appeared to be a meager portion, but that was just based on the presentation. It was actually a substantial amount; I only was able to eat half (A lot of restaurants work to make their items look bigger than they are in this one it was the opposite). As I was finishing up, I called over the manager, had him bring me a box in the check. He did that took my payment and thanked me for coming by. I would definitely go back to house of India. The service wasn't over the top as I like to have a server do more than just take my order, but they did have a system, my food was hot and tasty, I was served quickly, and I left pleased and ready to begin my 18 hour fast.
