This company is used locally by Blinds.com (Home Depot). Unprofessional. I do not know why Blinds dot com keeps using them. I had to patch and clean up after an attempted install of one sky light. Installers blamed blinds dot com for sending them defective blinds. read more

DO NOT USE. For whatever reason this is the 3rd party company that Home Depot chooses to do their measurements and installations. I have dealt with them now a few times for window covering projects. They consistently are very rude, unprofessional, and it's clear they are overwhelmed and in way over their heads. I plan on filing a complaint next with the BBB. These types of companies should not be allowed to berate any customer without repercussions. Let alone, represent Home Depot in any capacity. read more

Same as some of the other reviews i see. 3rd party company for Home Depot. They came out to measure my blinds. The guy was nice and polite and did the measurements. Problem is one of the window measurements was off by 1/2". So one set of blinds out of 14 blinds did not fit. Because I installed the other blinds they could not accept responsibility for their wrong measurement. Office people very rude about it accusing me of bad installation. At least I can read a tape measure! They cannot admit their fault. Do not use them! We called Home Depot too, recommending they stop using them. read more

I used this company for installation of my blinds through Home Depot. My installation time was 2 weeks out but that's to be expected during a pandemic! The tech contacted me the morning of and said he was 25 minutes away. He showed up on time and did an excellent install. He was friendly and polite. He even tried to throw the boxes out but I told him I'll handle it. I want to give a positive review when warranted. His name is Jay and he made my day! read more

Worst ever, I ordered blinds in Jul 2020 and here end Jan 2021 still waiting to finalize my installation. They have been to my place 4 times now and every time there has been a mistake in measuring, installation or quality. How hard is it to measure and order correctly for 13 windows I wonder? read more

This company is terrible!! They mismeasured and didn't return my calls. The also made a hole in my custom window frame as well trying to make the shade fit. Absolutely terrible. If you are going through Home Depot and the mention this company RUN. It's honestly better to spend a little more at a company that actually knows what they are doing. read more

We have been spending the last couple of weeks calling Namco multiple times to try and get them to come out and fix an installation problem which should be covered under warranty (on blinds which we purchased from Home Depot). My wife and I have both waited hours and hours on hold without getting through to a representative--sometimes we get disconnected for no reason, sometimes we are allowed to leave a voicemail which is never returned, and sometimes we spend a long time on hold before finally getting kicked to voicemail only to learn the voicemail box is full. On the rare occasions we have actually gotten through to a representative we are told that they will call us back to set up an appointment which also never happens, so the cycle starts again. read more

Would definitely recommend Bob Jones. He contacted me before arrival, wore a mask, removed his shoes and cleaned up after the install. He did an excellent job, in a timely manner and was such a friendly individual. read more

I bought blinds from Namco. They need repair and I was told that I needed to talk to the owner/boss because they couldn't find a record of my custom work. I left messages and he never called me back. Now when I call, I'm on eternal hold, no person ever answers the phone, just a recording and hold music. What a way to do business! I want to support "local" business but I should receive good service in return. I will never recommend this place. read more

If I could give no stars I would! After a year of having a motorized a blind, my mom had to call them out FOUR times! This last time they took it to repair and said it would be back next day.....two weeks later-no status. Recently her regular blind string broke-guy comes and asks her what he's supposed to do. Unless you want to use a bunch of your yearly vacation days to get your window treatments installed, DO NOT use this company! They will only assign one installer to your case and you are at his mercy. He, of course, can leave you in the middle of install and go on vacation but you won't get a vacation due to having to take days off for a half-finished job or a missed appointment. In addition, they say the project needed unanticipated extra parts but wait....the same guy did the measuring and calculating so why should anything be unanticipated??? Glad that I am the first to review, because this will be scathing. This company is contracted by Lowe's to perform measurements and installation. Like a cable company, they say that they will come by between 8-12 on a Saturday. However, the one person who does all of their work was late for both the measurement and install. So, I'm sitting at home hostage waiting for an overbooked installer to squeeze me in. The staff at Namco is no better - when I called, they told me to call back before they left for the day. They can't seem to get my order right, and they do not care how much they inconvenience you as long as they adhere to their restrictive schedules ... I, too, have nothing good to say about this company. It's unfortunate that Lowe's contracts with them. They are extremely unprofessional. I'll start from the beginning. I had an appointment for them to measure. They called 2 days prior to the appointment and said the installer "was sick" and they needed to reschedule. Ok. Fine. So I rescheduled. After the measurements were taken, I ordered the actual blinds from Lowe's. They told me to call when they arrived so we could set up an appointment for the actual installation. The blinds arrived and I called Lowe's. They told me they would have the installer call me to set up a time. 48 hr and 3 phone calls later, I took it upon myself to call them to schedule it. It was set. They were to supossed to be coming anytime between 8-12. I wait till 11:45 and still no installer. I call lowe's. They say they see my appointment, and will call the installer. I get a call back saying my apt was for tomorrow. I talk to the company myself and they refuse to come out that day. Their only solution was "you need to make another apt." Um....no. I just wasted 4 hr and stayed home from my job. I lost money waiting around for them! They refused to let me talk to the owner. Stating, "he can't call you until Monday." Mind you, it's Thursday at 12 noon. Unacceptable! They were rude on the phone and very unhelpful. Moral of the story....stay clear of this company! Awful!! read more

Was connected with namco after walking into Home Depot to order blinds. We were told by Home Depot that someone would come out to measure and that we would be able to order our blinds the day after measuring. Guy who came out to measure repeated this, stating that he would put measurements in the system that same day. It's been 9 days since Namco came out to measure and Home Depot still doesn't have the measurements. I have called Namco directly and the phone just rings for nearly 5 minutes before going to voicemail. They have not returned my calls. Will be getting a refund, but hate that I wasted three weeks waiting on blinds already. read more

This company is sent by home depot and can't be relied upon. Last year they set two different dates and times for installation of Christmas lights and did not come nor call for either appointment. Finally they came unannounced on a totally different day. To remove lights I had to e-mail them several times. I decided to use them this year again only because they offered a great deal and sent a letter in the summer. I paid them half the money and expected them to make an appointment. They did not they just showed up. My husband was home and asked what was the balance and was told that the company would biill. We looked for a bill and did not receive one so we thought that maybe they would collect when they removed the light. instead we came home to find our timers missing and the plugs all bent and damaged days before Christmas. We reviewed our security system and found this was done by the same people who installed the lights. Never a phone call, never droped a bill for the amount and never a follow up even to ask about payment, nor to address the damage done. Of course we followed up with an e-mail after this incident and not getting a return phone call. Still have not heard from these jerks. read more

Just utterly awful. We had contacted them through Home Depot and I was given a four hour window for the guy to come and measure for blinds. I asked if I could receive some prior notice as we were not always at the property. The guy - Mark - called me when he was about 10 minutes away. We hurriedly stopped everything we were doing and started to rush over there but there was a traffic situation and I told him we might be a few minutes late. He started complaining saying he had to leave in ten minutes - as he had already called another customer and told them he was half hour away. I mean really? So he was going to wait ten minutes and then measure our four story townhouse for ALL the windows and then get to the second customer in 30 minutes?? I told him we would be there shortly - but by then he already said he was not going to wait. We reached the house at 8 minutes past the appointed time (so less than the ten minutes we had told him) but he was already gone. Fortunately Home Depot returned my deposit so I cancelled the order completely. Looking at the reviews here it is clear that this is a terrible company overall - and I have no doubt the only reason they are still in business is because of the work they get from Home Depot and Lowes. I really hope both those companies find other blinds measuring and install companies to work with because these guys are pretty pathetic. read more

I am disappointed at the reviews I am reading. I on the other hand had a GREAT experience with Namco and specifically Mark. He was great. For both the measurements and the installation, he arrived during the preset time frame. He did a great job with the installation and was very fast. Will definitely use them again.
