My mother had been trying for 3 years to find a company that did shutter repair on her existing set. With previous companies who came out to do an assessment, they all assured her that they wouldn't be able to service her shutters unless she had her existing ones completely replaced with their shutters at astronomical price quotes. My back deck rolling shutter hangers snapped and the shutter would not rollout. I tried to roll it out and the shutter lost itself from the groove on the outside. I then tried to make it go all the way down and when it unrolled I realized the hangers had snapped and the whole thing fell out on me. Was kinda funny. That was at 10pm on a Friday. I called Rolling Shutter on Saturday morning before work at 830am and by 2pm my wife called to tell me it was fixed. An for a very reasonable price. Conway Bennett was the guy I dealt with. He was very informative and got the job done fast. Really nice guy. If I ever get another shutter or need one fixed. I'm calling these guys. read more

Stay away from this company. They are not professional. They do not call to confirm appointments. They damaged my windows. The salesman came in with his iPad and promised me high quality and that they are an A+ Better Business Bureau company (I think they must be paying them off). I received a phone message around 4:00pm the day prior to the scheduled appointment to tell me they would not be able to get to me as scheduled due to the snow storm and that they rescheduled me for the next Wednesday. I phoned back, but no one answered. Later I received a phone call from the sales person and we worked out another day for them to come out. The Saturday came for them to come out, I had not received a phone call from the office, so I phoned them a little after 9:30am for her to say that she just got in the office and was about to call me to let me know that they would be at my house by 10:00am. No more than 10 minutes after I got off the phone with her the workers called to tell me they were outside. They put the shutters up, but when I went outside to check they had not put the U channels in. The workers told me that no U channels were with the rolling shutters, I said, well that is a problem, got my contract and showed them. They called the owner who said that they did not have any U channels and that they take 1 to 2 weeks to be manufactured and said that they would have to take my remotes to the rolling shutters until I paid. I received a phone call Monday morning from the owner Darryl saying that they took some U channels from another job and would use them for my house and they would come to install them that day. Well, the workers came back and installed them, I thought I was grateful and signed the forms. Then I went outside to check the windows and noticed that he bottom of the windows were dented were they installed the U channel. I brought this to the attention of one of the workers, and he told me that the windows were already like that. I just had my new windows installed less than a year ago. When they left I realized that they had not left me the Key Chain Remote as also listed in the contract. I phoned the office and left a message for the owner to call me back. Needless to say, he has yet to call me back. The owner seems to think that I have a problem with his company because it is black owned, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I have a problem with his company because they are not professional and they don't do great work that they promise. The ironic part is that they were not the lowest estimate I received, but I went with them because they were minority owned. I suggest you stay away from this company and save yourself some money and aggravation. read more
