We went for the "last weekend of the month" sale. We were lead to believe it was 50% off everything, but it isn't. It's just off select items. That being said, the selection was decent. Dropping into Name Droppers was 100% a fantastic experience! Firstly, the service was amazing. The (possibly shop owner) woman staffing the front was so much fun, and clearly loves her job. She made the experience very warm and friendly. Onto the store itself, I honestly adore a good sense of style, and ND definitely has it. There were so many pieces that I fell in love with, some that didn't fit me sadly, but I walked away with the most adorable Nasty Gal shrug, a gorgeous rainbow Mumu dress, a cute cloche hat, and a beautiful necklace, all for under $200. Usually, I shop the sale rack first, but ND's clearance sale is at the end of every month and sadly the timing didn't work out for my work trip. Luckily, I'm a crazy person who actually sets up flights just to shop - so I will definitely be back! read more

Name Droppers is the most overpriced second-hand store I've ever shopped at. I've lived in NYC, Paris, and shopped in other second-hand stores in large cities, and I am always confused as to why they charge so much for their used clothes, shoes, and accessories. Their pricing is hugely disproportionate to the assortment and quality of their selection. I now go online for my vintage and second-hand shopping. Staff is friendly enough if you are dressed up when you shop in their store. read more

There really isn't anywhere to sell/consign designer (or brand-name) clothes in the area other than Name Droppers. I have been happy enough to get some return (40% of the selling price) on my items here. To sell, you take your items to the main location on Highland Avenue. If your items are something that could be found at a nice brand's outlet shop, they'll send it here. If your other items don't sell within 40 days, they'll come here as well. So this location is a mix between lower-price and picked-over items. I come here frequently but have only bought a pair of Kate Spade sunglasses from this location. read more

This Name Droppers is the OUTLET. Prices are even more ridiculously lower! You can still find great designer stuff in mint condition, just at better prices! The thing I like so much about the Name Droppers stores, is that even though they are consignment, they are not like your typical resale store. Everything is hung up and set up like you are at a real clothes boutique. Room to walk around, peruse the nice merch and no digging thru lots of junk. read more

I love the outlet store and love to stop in to find a good deal! You can find great deals if you look (I will say that many of the prices are still too high for the item because the outlet is where things go after they didn't sell after being marked down in their regular store). But if you really search and use the coupon at the end of the month you can get some ok deals. Rose runs this store and is so great! read more

Disappointing. Not much to choose from, many items from Walmart, Kohl's, etc., and way over priced. Designer items are generally antiquated.

I love this store and the bargains here are unreal. The store is always clean and the racks are very organized. The staff is very knowledgable about the inventory and will always help you if you are looking for something specific. I always find something I can't live without here. Do not buy any thing from this establishment. I bought a few sweaters from this store and soon after had a major moth infestation. I had to throw away my entire wardrobe. I know that the moths came from name droppers because my friend bought a jacket and she had the same exact problem Name droppers ruined my entire wardrobe which was not worth saving a couple bucks! read more

I'll agree with Jill here on the things that make this store great. Ease of shopping, neatly organized, great selection. I scored a beautiful blouse, some ballet flats (cougar print!) and a cropped cute Roxy leather jacket (for $8...yessss!) and I could have easily done lots more damage...but alas, l was there with two guys (my husband and son) and they were "toe-tapping" and bored so I had to get move on and not have the luxury of "perusing" at my own pace. The sales clerk was attentive and friendly. She made a point to tell me about their website and how I could shop online since l don't live in Utah. Very cool stuff...a must if you want good value for money on designer clothes, some new and some gently used, at a fraction of the price. read more

I have been shopping at this store for 10 years. I don't know of any other place in Utah with such great prices and quality designer stuff. Even when I shop in LA I feel spoiled and want to return to namedroppers. I have purchased an LV keepall, an Hermès dog carrier, a vintage Chanel mini classic, and much more. I do not have endless amounts of money and for me to own these items is literally a dream. The store is merchandised beautifully, and the stylists who work there are so genuine. Name droppers on highland drive is truely the ONLY "legit" consignment shop in salt lake!!! There staff is SUPER helpful and friendly and always has good suggestions and picks from there store selections. Also, they seem to always have a high turn over rate of clothing, etc w every visit. No need to sift through all the garbage to get a good find. Highly recommend read more
