I stopped by this location while attending an event across the street at Millcreek Commons. They share a parking lot with a strip of other stores so there is plenty of parking. I always like to peruse a good thrift store, and this location was huge. They have a large variety of items and even highlighted seasonal items like Easter stuff, since that was the time of year I was there. It was a Saturday when I was there, and they were pretty busy. It wasn't too crowded, however, to get a look at everything they had to offer. I thought the pricing was pretty reasonable for most things, but I didn't end up buying anything on my visit. They had furniture, exercise equipment, and many small items too. They also had some food items available at the front if you wanted a snack while walking through the store. If I'd been in the market, I may have purchased a few interesting items. read more

Fun thrift store! I went here cause I was looking for some more mid century modern furniture or vintage pieces. They do have a wide variety of things but not a lot of it I would say is super "unique". They did have a lot of really cool painting which I almost got a few but didn't because they were in my opinion a bit over priced. Most of the furniture is around late to early 2000s vibes They also have a clothing section which is awesome that they can have both in one store! I didn't look at the clothing as much but it is a pretty big section of the store. Store is very well organized and clean! I'll definitely be coming back to see if I can find some great pieces! Hands down, the best thrift store in the SLC area. Always clean, always super helpful employees, and always new quality items available. They have clothing, household items, furniture, electronics, and more. Many items are new or barely used and this store actually smells good; so many thrift stores smell dirty and icky. Not only do I love the mission of this thrift store, but I love how clean and curated the inventory is. Some thrift stores make me feel like I'm sifting through someone's discarded junk, but this one makes me feel like I'm going through my friend's closet looking for hidden gems. About a half of the storeroom floor is dedicated to clothing, shoes and accessories and the other half to furniture. The furniture is displayed like a higher-end store, rather than piled up in the corner like some other second hand stores do. There's plenty of parking in their private parking lot. read more

I recently moved back to Utah from Arizona and needed a few furniture pieces, so I stopped by The Other Side Thrift Boutique--I've always known them to have great quality and a huge selection. While I didn't see anything right away, I eventually stumbled on a beautiful dining table with chairs that I instantly fell in love with. James came over to chat with me about the table and was incredibly helpful. While I was thinking it over, I noticed a record-player cabinet in mint condition sitting right next to it. I asked James if it worked, and since it had just come off a new truckload, they weren't sure. He brought over another associate, David Rose, who took the time to plug it in and walk me through how everything worked. It sounded amazing--and I've been searching for one like this for years. We came up with a fair price, and then I checked out with another James at the register, who was just as friendly and pleasant to work with. I'm so thankful for all their help and the genuine care they put into their work. I absolutely love their mission, and this experience made me even more excited to keep supporting them. I am absolutely obsessed with this place for multiple reasons! 1. The Other Side Academy provides programming and support for individuals who have been incarcerated, homeless, or substance abusers. They provide vocational and life skills training for those who are wanting to make a lifestyle change. The Other Side Thrift Boutique employs individuals from this program as their employees. 2. Everyone who works here is so friendly and kind and helpful. 3. There are so many amazing thrifted items here, it's a thrifter's dream! The space is HUGE and they have furniture, gym equipment, beds, couches, kitchen supplies, little knick knacks, men's and women's clothing sections, shoes, and so much more! If you follow them on social media they usually post daily about the name brand items they have for sale. 4. Everything is SO AFFORDABLE! I recently bought a new pillow for $1, brand new, still in the box sheets and comforters for $15 and $20. 5. It's really easy to drop off your items to donate. Just pull around back and leave them in a bag on the garage, or there's usually an employee nearby to help you out. I love being able to support an amazing program like this and always take my donated items here rather than other places because I love their mission. read more

I've been tempted to go to this location for weeks now and finally showed up today for their $1 T-shirt Tuesdays! So....I normally do NOT like to drive to Salt Lake County for anything (hate the drive!) but I felt courageous today and drove anyway, anticipating all the goodies that I was wanting to find in this awesome thrift shop. I arrived about an hour after they opened, and it seems like this place is jumpin' even at 11 am in the morning - probably because of their $1 T-shirt Tuesday deals! The shirt aisles seemed tussled already, but I was able to find a good amount of shirts that I said to myself, "I'd buy that for a dollar!" In addition to finding shirts, I found two cute sweaters and a good quality overcoat/raincoat that I'm excited to sport in the fall/winter months! I mean, you have to be a thrifter and have the love to go to thrift stores, for you to drive 40 minutes to, just to go, right? This place did not disappoint - the racks were presentable and clean, there's someone always fixing them, and the employees were friendly. I wish they had a Utah County location, way better treasures and finds than other thrift stores I've been to. They also have furniture, accessories, trinkets, fantastic shoe finds, and a lot more name-brand clothing than other thrift stores in my opinion. I'm an instant fan and this place is the place that will keep me driving to Salt Lake County for! read more

This thrift store has a lot of furniture, several of the items were high quality and vintage. The prices on the furniture were reasonable, but not dirt cheap. You could take a nice dresser or dining table home for $150. This thrift boutique also has racks and racks of clothing, a large selection of shoes (both used and new with tags and boxes), handbags, and housewares. The housewares were a bit limited, there were a few silver-plated serving bowls here and there, a couple wine glasses, dishes, and pressed glass. Something I saw here that I don't see at all thrift shops were large area rugs hanging on display. As with all thrift stores, the selection is really dependent on the variety and quality of the donations. Any seasoned thrifter knows persistence is key when searching for that diamond in the rough. I didn't see anything that really caught my eye this time, but this is a great spot to add into the rotation. read more

Wow I feel like I scored here. Super nice and friendly workers. It's a really cool place where 100% of the proceeds go to the homeless. How cool?! They have a great selection and I walked away with 4 keepers. The prices are so so nice. T shirts are $3-4. Can't beat that. They ask you to sanitize when you get in which I appreciate.
