Worse massage I've ever had in my life! Please read if you are planning to make an appt for a party of 3 or more and if you are not a local. I get massages almost every month, and since I was on vacation, I wanted to book a massage. Unfortunately, the resort we were staying at was booked and couldn't accommodate me and my 3 friends. So we did a search and found Namti. They boast that this is the place where locals go, so I figured, it must be good. Boy was I wrong. I am tempted to write the name of my massage therapist, but don't want to jeopardize anyone's livelihood. Plus, she was a nice woman, just someone who is in the wrong profession. My massage felt more like someone was rubbing me with oil for an hour. I told her I had a lot of tension in my neck and shoulder and even upgraded to a stone massage. She stroked the stone across my body, but didn't really do any massaging. I was still waiting for her to work on my neck and shoulders and then suddenly, she asked me to turn over. I thought, ok..maybe she'll work on my pain points while I'm on my back. NOPE!! For the rest of the time, she simply kept my neck raised and turned my neck from side to side a few times. Didn't even massage it once and then it was over. She left to ring the gong and said ok, you're all done! I was in complete shock!! I compared notes with my 3 friends and 2 of them had a very similar experience with their massage therapist. On top of that, they automatically charge 20% tip for groups of 3 or more and the 2 women at the front desk where not very friendly. When we went to pay, I told them they sent me a 20% discount and gave them the promo code. They both looked at each other like they weren't happy about that and rung us up without even thanking us for our business. My friend noticed that right away and even said, wow...they didn't look happy that we didn't pay full price. We were even complaining to our Uber driver about it and he said that there are so many spas in Sedona, he mentioned, The Wilde Spa, is one he drops/pick-up customers from a lot. So if you are not a local....I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Had a shabby experience a couple of months ago and gave feedback directly to NAMTI rather than a negative online blast. They responded with a refund, which I greatly appreciated. Went back again this month for a deluxe spa pedi which was average, at best. No choice of essential oil, no sugar scrub, no shea cream, no ultimate massage, no warm booties and I didn't even need polish. Again I followed up with them directly but received no acknowledgement. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I had a gel mani/pedi service booked (2-1/2 hours) and the nail technician never showed up. When I arrived for the service, the door was locked. I phoned the salon and was met outside by a salon employee who informed me the technician 'couldn't make it'. I was so excited for my husband and I to each have an ayurveda package. Neither of us had good experiences. I guess they had a flood recently so some of the waiting area was affected but it doesn't look like they are charging any less and are still filling the rooms. We couldn't even get in the front door it was so crowded when we arrived. That hectic entry didn't bode well. The rooms are super tiny and the walls may as well been curtains. Sounds from the waiting area as well as from adjacent rooms were constant throughout the treatment ruining all hope of relaxing and zoning out. It wasn't an occasional sound, it was clear conversation. The therapist who did the facial was clearly a beginner. She kept getting the substances in my mouth and my eyes. The therapist for the massages was decent which is why I gave a second star. She apologized for the noise and told me I would get a discount for the hassle. Not only did I not get a discount but I was overcharged. The price on the website plus an automatic 20% tip that they add in was less than what I was charged. Buyer beware. I have tolerance for a not fancy spa place but this was pretty awful. For $879, we had an awful experience. Adding insult to injury, checking out took forever. There is one person doing all the checkin and checkout and we waited at least 15 minutes for her to just run our card. Overall, I cannot recommend this place and I regret coming here. read more

They have a great foot care massage that combines with a full body massage that is perfect after a long day of hiking or walking. I really wish I could give this place a 5-Star, but my experience was so disappointing. I researched every spa in Sadona before our trip. I made my husband and I both appointments for the Body and Soul Spa Treatment. It was this specific treatment that caught my attention. My husband had a fantastic massage and had only great things to say about his experience. I on the other hand had a therapist that should not have been working. At first I felt maybe it was just me, but halfway into my 2 hour session I knew something was off. My up to the knee foot scrub was a 10 minute yo the angle soft scrub, with no reflexology at all. Several times during the massage I asked for more pressure and the 3rd time when she was doing my feet when I asked for more pressure I was told she was trying but her hands really hurt. I know I should have said something at that point, but the session was almost over. I realized she had not been using her hands about 75% of the time. It was more of a rubdown using her forearms. I did say something to the front desk. Letting them know I thought something was off, and that I didn't get my full foot service. What I thought I was getting (per the description) and what I got was clearly not of equal value or time. I was told my therapist was not feeling well and did try to get someone to cover my session but couldn't get anyone. Ok, my fault for not speaking up. But massages are a very therapeutic experience. If someone is not feeling well or just not feeling it, please don't let them work on clients. We pay for a therapeutic and relaxing experience. Having someone that is not well give a rubdown is not the same thing. Especially when the session is 2 hours. I will share that I was given a discount, but I still paid over 200.00 for the very uncomfortable and partial service I received. Even as I'm writing i'm disappointed that I didn't get a better acknowledgment of my experience. Lesson learned, speak up right away if something feels off.. And don't pay for a service you didn't get. I am open to talk more with the owner about other unprofessional things I experienced while at the spa, of their interested. read more

Went for a deep tissue massage, it was anything but that. Still felt the same when I left. Minimal pressure, he wanted to rub my feet and legs, arms, hands and face. Easy to book the services I wanted online. Friendly staff . Clean facilities. Nail service was decent , but not worth $49 for each Mani and Pedi. My nails messed up, because they were not dry like I was told by the nail tech . Massage prices are reasonable, but I got what I paid for. Unfortunately my massage was not good. I'm a massage therapist so I know I can critique a little harder, however therapist should not be sitting through the entire massage. Trained professional Massage therapist knows that the only time you should be sitting is to do neck work, maybe feet work . How can you properly provide great pressure and proper techniques if you are sitting ? . My therapist sat down through the entire massage. I literally felt like I was getting a rub down with lotion. I asked for more pressure and the pressure did not change. I looked forward to the massage ending . I've had 2 bad massages in the past 5 years and this was the second. My 90 minute massage turned into an 80 minute massage by no fault of the masseuse. I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment, but there was no receptionist, and the girl serving a client told me to wait. Little did I know they have two buildings! One nail salon/foot scrub and another building for massages. Why in the world didn't the girl say something when I said I had a massage appointment instead of having me WAIT? This is a no frills service center. I wouldn't quite call it a spa except they offer a regiment of services. There is no lounge area or spa per se in the sense of steam rooms or jacuzzis etc. I don't have a problem with that so much as they should have a check-in receptionists at BOTH locations.
