We came here on a Saturday night at about 8pm and it was dead. I know it's a new place but this isn't a good sign. Hopefully they can get more of a following and they don't close down. I had the hangover ramen which had a little bit of everything and instant ramen. So pretty much what you'd think lol! I chose this becuase we had been drinking and I'll tell you that I did not have a hangover ha! Their pot stickers were good too.

I'm so glad to have a Korean restaurant (with a Southern twist) in downtown Huntsville! The dining room is spacious and very inviting. The service was top notch and our food was hot, beautifully presented, and delicious. I had Galbi with caramelized onions and mushrooms, which was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. We will definitely be back to try more items!

Service was very nice. The Seoul classic was very good. The banchan (small side dishes) were good as well.

I just went to Namu for a second time, and it was again amazing! I got the kimchi soup, which was delicious. It makes me very sad that both times I've come in it has been very empty, it is definitely one of the more underrated places in downtown Huntsville!

I had a great time at Namu. You can tell as soon as you walk in that their aesthetic is a fusion of Rocket City with a Korean twist. The customer service was top notch. I really appreciated my server Shanika. She was able to recommend items to us that would ease us into something different. The items we had were pretty good. I ordered the Stone Bowl Bibimbap which was good, but the rice was a little over cooked. It was a little on the mushy side, but the crunchy rice at the bottom helped the dish. I also ordered the Sweet Chili Tteok-Kkochi it was smokey with a slight sweet heat. It was a perfect starter. We really enjoyed the complimentary banchan as well. Personally my favorite part of the meal. Overall this a great addition to downtown.

Combination flavor wing platter and fried rice chicken and shrimp.

We were promptly seated and had our drink orders taken (they serve Coke products and alcohol; no Coke Zero sadly). The menu was pretty large but they don't offer a lunch portion on weekends which was unfortunate but fine. The adult meals came with 2 sides and miso soup, kids meals featured one side and miso soup. I ordered Beef Bulgogi with cabbage kimchi and cucumber kimchi, wife ordered Pork Belly with bean sprouts and fish cakes, kids ordered Beef Bulgogi Fried Rice and Chicken Frid Rice both with Japchae noodles. The miso soup was a little disappointing - the soup cup was filled a third of the way up and only had a few slivers of green onion; no tofu or seaweed or anything else. It was the smallest, saddest miso soup I have tried. Sides were brought out before the test of the meal -- save them for when the food comes out, you will need them to cleanse your palate and break up the meat overload. Sides were pretty good. The main course was served and the food looked beautiful! Unfortunately the food was very bland. The pork belly lacked salt (don't ask me how this is possible) though the onions they came with were nice. The beef Bulgogi was pretty bad, had flavor but seemed dry and it was just a pile of meat that got old quickly. Not a lot of complex flavors. My youngest kid's chicken fried rice was bad -- the chicken was extremely dry and lacked flavoring. She loved it; but she also doesnt want to use ketchup or any sort of flavoring on her meat usually so that tells you the flavor profile here. The waitresses we had we both very nice, but they weren't attentive. My glass of water was low and I got no refill - no one at my table was ever asked if they wanted something else to drink. One of my daughters used the rest room and complained that the floor of the women's restroom had a lot of water on it. She siad when she say down on the toilet water squirted out from around thr seal and when she stood up it sucked back in. She specifically asked me to mention it and and she's 11 years old and never complains about bathrooms so that was weird. Food cost $72 after taxes for 2 adult meals, 2 kid meals, 3 drinks and no apps or booze. Not worth it. If you think the food looks good, its post production. I really hate to rank this place so low but the wife and a I both agreed that it's a solid 2 stars and that we wouldn't return here. I enjoyed most of the other korean restaurants around town and have traveled quite a bit internationally and across the US for context; this place was not good. If you do want to try it out, I'd advise eating it family style where everyone shares several dishes. Sorry!

Our table ordered a variety of wings and sides. I had the 10-piece with Soy Garlic and Sweet Spicy sauces plus fries. My wife ordered the 6-piece Sweet Spicy with fries, and Bethany had the 10-piece Sweet Spicy with kimchi and added the Dubokki. The chicken was the star. It arrived piping hot with an exceptionally crispy exterior and was coated evenly in sauce. Both flavors were excellent, but the Sweet Spicy edged out the Soy Garlic for me. The fries were hot and well seasoned. Bethany enjoyed everything on her plate and actually preferred the kimchi over the Sweet Spicy wings. She also gave the Dubokki a thumbs up. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. Service was friendly, and the food came out fresh and hot. Based on this visit, Seoul Good belongs in the conversation with some of our favorite wing spots. We still love J's Wings, but this is a place we would gladly revisit. If we lived closer, it would definitely become part of our regular rotation. Come for the crispy Korean fried chicken, stay for the lively atmosphere, and don't skip the Sweet Spicy sauce.

Mind you it's an hour drive from my house and it is WORTH IT!! I get a craving for these wings and have to go back. Btw I usually don't like wings. These just hit different!!! Even though I always order the 6 piece I get 7 wings. It's an added lil bonus The restaurant itself is very small inside so I recommend ordering online and picking up or eating outside at one of the many tables. The workers have always been patient while I look at the menu and pleasant to speak with. Side note: My husband has gotten the cucumber salad before (not pictured) and he throughly enjoyed it as well! Anytime you are in Huntsville swing by you won't be disappointed

Huge portions. The broth is so flavorful, the noodles are perfect and the beef is thinly sliced and never overcooked. I LOVE the garnish plate piled high with fresh basil, cilantro, lime wedges, & sprouts so that I can customize my pho just how I like it. Also, every condiment you could want for your pho is right at the table. I always like to spice mine up! I've always had excellent service here, and no matter the time of day the place is always packed with locals which tells you you are in the right place. I also love their salad here. It is a huge shareable portion with the freshest veggies and the most delicious dressing. I can only get the salad if I have friends or family with me because I just can't eat it all. I wish they had a small side salad portion. I absolutely recommend Viet House.

We arrived after 1:00 and the restaurant was full. Every table and booth was occupied. As I contemplated the wait, I noticed a couple get up. They smiled as they walked by telling us the food is great. A hostess had their booth cleared and we were seated. I ordered chicken and glass noodle soup, Dave ordered a dry noodle bowl with various proteins. I got a chicken salad to go and we decided on chicken lettuce wraps. My chicken and glass noodle soup was seasoned perfectly, had several slices of chicken breast, glass noodles, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapenos, and limes to squeeze. Absolutely delicious! 5/5 Dave's dry egg noodle bowl with bbq pork, shrimp, crispy pork was delicious he said. It was packed with proteins, boiled egg, bean sprouts, and more fresh vegetables. He also had soup on the side. A warm chicken broth with veggies. 5/5 The chicken lettuce wraps were perfectly seasoned and served with lettuce, crushed peanuts, and a dipping sauce. The ground chicken was cooked with onions, bell peppers, thinly sliced carrots and seasoned well but not salty. The dipping sauce had the perfect sweet and salty balance. 5/5 Chicken salad I ate last night was excellent. There was a good bit of sliced chicken breast and it was soft and delicious. The accompanying dressing is slightly sweet with a hint of spice. 5/5 Please stop by and support this local family owned restaurant. Their business has increased and I know it is because of their excellent foods and friendly service. 5/5
