Garlic fried rice is magical. Every other food was also spectacular but the boneless chicken and the garlic fried rice are spot on

We've ordered Nanabi many times through DoorDash, and we've never been disappointed. The bao are excellent (we like the fried chicken and pork belly ones the most) and there is a passion fruit slush that we really enjoy with popping mango boba. Since I've only ordered delivery, I can't speak to service or ambiance, but they package the food well, and it tastes good. read more

Visited last Friday on the 30th of May...and place was hectic. The food was taking forever to be served because there was one guy in the kitchen that seemed to be doing everything but looked confused. I was there by myself and there was the cashier with all his carving tools and wood and sharp objects and whatnot all over the counter...I believe it's very unprofessional and it could have been very dangerous. The floors in the front were quite dirty with some mud spots. There didn't seem to be a manager I could report to. The food tasted nice but took too long. The boba drinks don't seem to be authentic and powdery, too sweet There're some random artwork on the wall that looked out of place. Overall I wouldn't recommend unless there aren't any other options to choose from. There are definitely other boba tea places that are nicer, cleaner and tidier. read more

Adorable place! I got the pork belly bun and holy cow it was so tender and juicy, the fat literally melted in my mouth. Also got a Thai tea with boba and it was delicious. So very very good. I never see anyone here but I don't come for lunch. Never had anything bad to say about anything I get here. So good. Pretty quick too. I will say that last night the guy that helped me had a lot it rings on and that's way against health codes. He had these really odd fingertip rings, and there's no way those are sanitary. I stopped in at Nanabi Cafe in Utica for takeout recently. The place is very cozy in the narrow space (orange & white colors) with row of 2 long tables along the wall and seating at the front window upon entering with the order/takeout counter in the back, no public restrooms. They also offer DoorDash delivery too. They offer bento boxes, rice bowls, bao buns, gyozas, boneless fried chicken, fries, fruit bubble tea, slushy, and can drinks. I ordered a Bowl (Build Your Own) with White Rice, Chicken Katsu, and 3 topping choices (I chose chickpea salad, cucumber salad, mixed corns) ($9.99 plus tax) and Beef Teriyaki Bao Buns (2 for $5.95 plus tax). The food order was made and bagged in about 10 minutes. The 2 bao buns were filled with tender beef slices in a sweet teriyaki sauce with sesame seeds, carrots, cucumber, & green onions rolled in soft dough bao buns. The bao buns were pretty good. The rice bowl was mostly soft white rice topped with the cold tasty salads (chickpeas, cucumber, & corn) and a breaded crispy chicken cutlet topped with katsu sauce. This bowl was good and filling. Overall, this place is a pretty good stop for Asian fusion fast food. I will have to try the garlic fried rice (additional charge) in my bowl next time. read more

If you want healthy, tasty bento boxes look no further! This place was amazing. All the ingredients tasted fresh and it didn't have a fried, greasy feel to it. When i was finished eating I felt full and satisfied. I ordered the build your own bento: rice, teriyaki chicken, pork gyoza, and sesame cucumber salad. The toppings on the teriyaki chicken really pulled the entire dish together. I also got the lychee slushee with tapioca and lychee popping. The slushee also tasted fantastic and refreshing in this summer heat. I highly recommend to anyone trying to get some fresh tasty food! read more

We pulled off the highway into Utica wanting some dinner, never having been there before. We found this little hidden gem in the middle of some serious urban decay. We were absolute blown away and incredibly surprised in the best possible way immediately upon entering this tiny treasure. We ordered beef teriyaki bao buns for an app which were spot on. I ordered pork belly bowl with kimchi edamame and garlic fried rice and my girlfriend ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl with steamed rice with onions edamame and corn. We destroyed our meals with gusto, they were delicious. The gentleman behind the counter who took our order was super helpful and nice, and he's an artist too, apparently, lol. Don't know when we'll be back through Utica, but if around mealtime, we'll be coming back. Thank you! read more

The food was delicious - simple, healthy and very tasty. The place was clean. The people running it were thoughtful and kind. The art on the walls, done by the owner i think, was very cool. My son and I ordered the bowls, for which you pick a protein, the type of rice, and three vegetable options. I had the garlic fried rice w/ tofu and pepper/onion mix, corn and sweet potatoes. It was perfection. The sauce on the tofu was incredible, the garlic rice was the perfect complement, and the sweet potatoes were also cooked to perfection. My son enjoyed his very similar bowl as well - and he's a picky eater - and he loved the green apple slushy he ordered. Oh yeah, we also thought the fried spring rolls and the dip sauce that came with it were quite good. The only thing I would change about the experience is the flimsy plastic utensils that had me worried I would fling food everywhere if I dug in too deep to pull out a bite. But that's only because the food was so good I wanted to dig in, and they provided chopsticks as an alternative, so no big deal whatsoever. Highly, highly recommend this place. read more

The food here is incredibly flavorful & fresh! We had 3 different kinds of the bao buns, the shrimp shumai & the Korean fried chicken -all were delicious. The restaurant is on the small side (mostly take-outs probably) but very clean & cheery. The man who took our order was extremely pleasant and very helpful explaining our options. The boba teas are delicious too, especially with the tapioca boba. I only wish we didn't live so far away otherwise this would be a regular stop for us. read more

The food here at this place was very good the Gyoza dumplings are my favorite. And special sauce you can put on everything if you ask me.

The food was very good! It is a small establishment, has 2 tables, but little decor and seems like it is meant more for take out than dine in.
