She commented, "Oh, I couldn't tell you're Chinese," and then proceeded to ask an unsolicited and politically sensitive question: "Do you think Taiwan is part of China?" She continued to press political opinions that were completely unrelated to dining and entirely uninvited. Introducing politically charged topics to customers during a meal is highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Regardless of personal views, this is not something that belongs in a business setting, especially in a restaurant where guests are simply trying to enjoy their evening. Because of this interaction, we have decided not to return. Good food and service cannot compensate for uncomfortable, forced political discussions.
