    Early bday lunch treat :)
    Nan S.

Visiting my friend and got an early bday lunch treat. The place is nice and clean. The staff was very helpful in answering my questions. The food & drink was yummy! :) A suggestion I have would be to not use size for poke bowls. There is only one size...the small, medium, & large is apparently based on the number of extra proteins you basically want to add (i.e: salmon, spicy salmon, etc.). They have a self order kiosk which is cool. :)

In a smaller city like this, you may not always find something that hits like home. But, it also doesn't mean you won't find anything good or tasty. Mitsuba Ramen makes a decent bowl of ramen, perfect for a cold day trying to get warm. Here we have their Edamame & a bowl of tonkotsu ramen. I'll be honest and it's not the best bowl I've ever had but it's also not that bad. I've actually came back here to eat a few times. Maybe you should to! @phidingthefam

The service leaves a lot to be desired here. We were the only ones here and they seemed to care less about helping us. They handed us menus and we ordered off of those (build your own poke), and were given a pager to pick our meal up. The meal itself was fine (we got one of the salmon/tuna bowls and one with the shrimp/tuna, both with rice), but the sauces were nothing but salt and sugar. The veggies were fresh as was the fish, but the whole bowl was just... very boring. While we were there we heard three songs and all dropped f-bombs constantly, which means I wouldn't suggest kids go. It was loud and obnoxious. We might choose this as a pick up option out and about, but we have no desire to sit and eat (regardless of Covid issues). They were just rude and the music turned us off, and the food wasn't great enough to make up for that atmosphere.

Excellent ambience and decor. My Beef Ramen came out quick and at the perfect temperature. Great flavor and portions! Will definitely be back here!

The pho is absolutely flavorless noodle water and they will charge you $3 for "extra" meat and still give you 2 pieces total

Listen here listen here , I can't believe I've been here so many times and never left a review!…read moreMitsuba is hands down my favorite poke spot in the Syracuse area. I always get the salad base and my mom usually goes with the noodles -- and let me tell you, they never miss. This time, I think our bowls got mixed up a little, and mine ended up with some ah tuna. I've always been hesitant to try it since I usually stick to cooked seafood, but it was actually so good! Flavorful, fresh, and the texture was way better than I expected -- honestly, similar to shrimp. If you like shrimp, you'd probably enjoy this too. For toppings, I went with shrimp, mango, crab meat, corn, chili flakes, and a few other things (I even snapped a pic of my order card because I can never remember everything!). The poke bowls are always fresh, flavorful, and customizable, and I love that you can watch them chop everything right in front of you. This visit I also tried the crab rangoons -- they were a little too crunchy for me, and my little one even said the same (and she usually loves rangoons). My mom tried the chicken wings, which were good, but I'll personally be sticking to the poke bowls because they are the star here. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is super friendly, and the quality is consistently top-notch. If you're looking for poke in Syracuse, this is the place. Five stars for the poke bowls, no question! They do sell all type of bubble drinks as well.

These last two cuisines tend to be harder to find where I live. The amok with fish was divine. The curry was spicy but also sweet. The fish was superb quality, so tender, substantial with many chunks, and so flavorful. I was floating on cloud nine savoring this amazing trip, while reminiscing about the first time I had it in Siem Reap ten years ago. The tea leaf salad was good, but could have used more flavor for my taste. However, I tend to like this dish with a stronger fish sauce and fermented taste. My kids loved the Cambodian chicken broth with thin rice noodles. They loved the light, clean soup with slices of lean meat. The interior of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and transporting. Paintings of Angkor Wot, Buddhist statues, elephants, and other traditional art adorn the space. The booths are comfy and the bathrooms are clean. The service was super kind and attentive. Overall this is a splendid restaurant. Utica is so lucky to have such a gem!! We will surely return in the future.
