These were served with a pea and bacon risotto whose rich flavors matched the meatballs perfectly and the accompanying crisped breads balanced texture for the perfect combo. The pork belly tostadas had a great combination of toppings that gave them a fresh feel and almost made pork belly feel healthy, and the popover short rib dish was perfectly cooked and tasty. This one wasn't my dish, but I managed to snag a nibble and may be ordering it next time if they decide to add it to the regular menu. So good! The dishes were a nice size, leaving room for desert, and the fresh fruit meringue was an excellent finale. The restaurant itself is small, with a bar and just a handful of indoor tables. They had 4 more tables outside, however, which would be great on slightly cooler days. The indoor window seat we got was comfortable and the whole place had a cozy, friendly feel. Service was top notch, from a greeting as we entered to constant attention - we never really noticed our slightly small (bar style) table as all the dishes were cleared so quickly. I loved this place and will probably have to keep returning until I've tried the whole menu. I'm definitely hoping to try the outdoor tables next if weather permits.

Located inside Revo Casino Manchester, Rebels is a full service restaurant and bar serving pub fare…read moreand libations, formerly Filotomo. Rebels also has other locations around NH inside other Revo Casino locations in Dover, Keene, Lebanon, and Conway. They offer great daily specials here including $5 handhelds (12-3pm), $3 drafts (4-7pm) and 25 percent off food. I've been to the Rebels in Dover several times and that location has also pretty good street tacos there. This location still has the same feel as Filotomo which has a full service bar with seating and table seating along the walls. There are flatscreen TVs, scratch tickets machine, and Keno here. Anyways, I stopped by Rebels in Manchester for dinner recently. The bartender gave me a menu to look at and I got a complementary Revo bottled water. The food menu here offers a selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, salads, chowder, flatbread pizzas, main entrees (steak, ribs, pork, pasta, seafood, chicken tenders, beef prime rib), and desserts, same food as the other locations. Much of the Greek Italian American menu of the former Filotomo, is now at Fotia down the street. The prices seem fair here. The bar has 16 draft beers, bottle/can beers, wine, liquor and cocktails. I ordered the Birria Pizza ($11 plus tax) and the Clam Baked Cod ($16 plus tax), both coming out to me at the same time in about 12 minutes. The Birria Pizza flatbread was topped with soft spiced beef, caramelized onions & melted cheese on top of a firm crunchy dry crust, consome dipping broth on the side. The Clam Baked Cod was comprised of a soft baked cod filet with herb seasoned breadcrumb topped with Boston clam chowder, couscous, red onions, roasted red bell pepper, tomatoes, zucchini, mushroom, garlic. I finished both food items, as I was all set. The check was presented which came out to $21.97 with tax, after discount, and before tip. Overall, another pretty good meal at Rebels and attentive service at the bar. I will continue to eat at Rebels whenever I'm already at Revo Casino and DraftKings Sportsbook.

There's an up charge for fries, which I don't mind paying. but to give me 11 1/2 fries is wild.read more

Because we were there at an odd hour between lunch and dinner, the place was not very busy. The service held up, even during the lull period, and we never wanted for much of anything while we were there. Some of us ordered the $1.49 taco special of the day. These are the best $1.49 tacos we have ever had! Ground beef, shredded beef, and shredded chicken are the choices. Hard and soft shell options. The shredded beef and chicken fillings were delicious and generous. We had three other dished at the table, including street tacos and a burrito. The other stand out item was the Chile Relleno! One of the best I have ever had. Not a crispy version, rather a soft cooked version. The pepper was a perfect size and the cheese perfectly melty. The sauce is fantastic! A great value and experience for this menu item. If I find myself in Manchester, this will be at the top of my dining choices list.

Cocktail Lovers, this must be the place!…read more Calling all cocktail lovers, make Exeter Apothecary your next place to visit. Located right above the beautiful Vino E Vivo restaurant (see prior review), it's the new HIT spot in Exeter. Only about 20 minutes or so from Portsmouth but a fun spot for cocktails, wine and dessert. Ambiance is chill with comfy bar seats, side tables and bartenders that can shake, sitr and whip up almost any cocktail to your liking. We did share their Amaro Flip which was fabulous. I know we will be back for sure since they offer small plates and decadent desserts too. Cheers~

Sitting above sister restaurant Vino e Vivo, chefs Nick and Paul bring elevated small and large plates to this casual setting. Cocktails were great, as you might expect. Head bartender Chris has a creative list of cocktails and I'm sure could mix up anything else you might desire. We tried several small and large plates. Really hard to call out a favorite as they were all good. The Parsnip soup was creamy, rich and delicious with several touches such as crisped rice and basil oil on top that really made this a standout. Beet tartare was great as well with rich delicious beet flavor and texture reminiscent of beef tartare. Don't miss the cornbread with pork belly butter! Service is warm and friendly and chef Nick ran many of the dishes to the tables and bar personally. You could see (and taste) the passion he has for food. Exeter has another gem with Exeter Apothecary !

We started with some cocktails and the cheese curds, for Andres we had the Smashburger and an order of duck tacos. We do come toting along with a six-year-old so with a lack of a kids menu or a simpler eats, we went with the cheese flatbread (note to anybody reading it comes without sauce. It is literally cheese on a flatbread). We can't fall places for not being kid friendly, but it would've been awesome to have even just a grilled cheese option, but that's our problem for another day. Sadly, it will limit when we can plan our future visit visits. The service was great, friendly and attentive, in the ambience, cozy and warm. I travel quite a bit and my husband did deem this a place that "I could come and sit at the bar when I'm by myself " So personally, the only thing I would say is they could use a few more smaller plates that could thicken as child, friendly entrées... or just add a tad bit more options into the mix.

Very approachable menu with a few sections but a handful of options in each section. From the starters section, we shared the duck wings and the fried cheese curds. Surprisingly, a lot of duck featured on the menu. Not something I typically see at a casual taphouse. Duck wings were great. Ultra crispy and card with mandarin wedges for a perfect compliment. The fried cheese curds came out piping hot. Some of them seemed to pop and the cheese oozed out leaving some hollow curds. The ones that maintained their integrity and contained the cheese were superb. We shared the Korean fried chicken sandwich as our main. Super crispy and vinegar forward. Came with spiraled potato wedges which was an ideal accompaniment for a few beers. Service was quick and accommodating. Food came out quickly too. A couple TVs to catch an event. Great spot!

They also offer cooler drinks, Italian sodas, milkshakes, espresso drinks, and hot chocolate. The prices seem fair. I stopped by the new Zizza location in Manchester for takeout. I ordered the 12" Italian Sausage Cherry Peppers & Red Pepper Flakes ($15.50 plus tax), which I saw being quickly made, hand stretching the dough and topping with plenty of tomato sauce, sliced fresh mozzarella, ground Italian sausage and hot peppers and placed into the belt pizza oven. My pizza was all set and boxed in about 10 minutes. I enjoyed the pizza fresh out of the oven. The pizza crust was firm and chewy topped with plenty of zesty tomato sauce, melted mozzarella cheese, peppers and sausage, slightly messy. The pizza had mild spicy flavors, which was enjoyable. The pizza here is the real deal! I will definitely order from here again and get the fan favorite Zizza Mizza and the Fried Eggplant Ricotta Parmesan & Fresh Basil pizzas!
