Zo's Place opened on August 16, 2025 in Manchester in the former Olive Haven Pizza/Elm House of Pizza/Theos building on lower Elm Street. This is their second NH location, with the Nashua location already open since April 2024. Zo's Place is also operated by the same owners as Niki's Famous Roast Beef in North Andover, MA. The menu offerings here include roast beef sandwiches, subs, pizza, pasta, dinner plates, appetizers, rice bowls, and cold drinks (Coke products) from the cooler. The place is order/pick-up at the counter or eat-in, scan QR code for menu. There is a casual dining room to the right and a full service bar/lounge to the far right. There are flatscreen TVs in the dining room and lounge showing sports. I stopped by Zo's Place in Manchester on opening day since I wanted a Northshore roast beef sandwich and pasta for takeout. The place was not too busy when I arrived here around 3pm. After scanning the menu, I quickly realized that the Nashua and Manchester locations operate on different POS systems and the pricing is generally lower in Nashua. I ordered a Eggplant with Spaghetti ($13.99 plus tax) and a Jr Roast Beef ($6.49 special) with cheese (add $1.00), horseradish, mayo and James River BBQ sauce. My order was all set to go in about 12 minutes. I raced home to enjoy the food. The Jr Roast Beef was a bit messy from being wrapped, a decent mound of soft medium well roast beef topped with an American cheese slice and smothered with mayo, horseradish, spicy James River BBQ sauce between a toasted brioche bun. I know some folks would prefer the roast beef bloody rare, but I was all good with the medium well roast beef. The pasta was packed in a foil container with soft spaghetti, thick marinara sauce and small pieces of thin breaded eggplant. The baked garlic toast was buttery sub roll halves. The owner was actually in the building. They did a great job making this place feel inviting and relaxed. I would definitely come back again to order one of their hot subs and a specialty pizza.

Local to the area This is my first time here and I ordered from here because I wanted to try the steak tip salad. I usually order it from Giovanni's in Manchester, but I wanted to try theirs because there were some good reviews about this place. So in regard to recommending or trying again, the salad was worth it to have again! I went here around noon time a the dining room area was open for seating which there was plenty of. The atmosphere felt like it could be a lively night spot Dining area was pretty basic The staff for me was not appropriately dressed. Everybody was kind of wearing whatever they wanted to wear, so it was hard to differentiate between customer and staff. If I was running a business, I would definitely want them to wear something to represent my business and professionalism. The woman who greeted us at the counter was very friendly My order was to go, so I did not dine in. There was hardly no wait time just for the stake to cook. So onto the steak tip salad I felt the steak was very well seasoned. I felt it was proportioned well in regards to the salad. It was fresh. It was crispy. The pita bread was still warm. There was plenty of everything so again if I was to recommend the steak tip salad. I would say it's a go and will be back. As for price comparison between Giovanni's in here, it was roughly the same amount. The only difference is they charge two dollars to use anything other than cash so for the two salads with feta, it came to $40.

Stopped in for a roast beef sub sandwich. The place was fairly empty, so we got a table right away. The waitress was very kind and courteous. Our cheesy fries with bacon were pretty good for our app. The problem came with our meal. The bread was yummy, but the meat was fully pink, cool, and uncooked. We didn't say anything, but the staff could tell we were not eating the meat. Very disappointed.

I don't know if there was a new person in the kitchen or deliberate changes. My husband ordered a beer which was completely flat. I ordered a turkey club. It has always been excellent, but this time it was awful. The lettuce was completely wilted, there was almost no tomato, the toast was burned black on all edges, which tasted awful. Weirdly, the sandwich was thicker on one half than the other with turkey. My husband's sandwich had the same wilted lettuce, very sparce tomato, and the bread was partly burned. They ran out of wheat bread, and offered marbled rye. It was a disappointment all around. BTW, the server did bring a new beer.

They never give me the correct dressing or condiments when they remember to give them to me. Do you like your Onion Soup with crunchy onions? This is the place to get it!! The to-go soup cups don't have lids that fit. I had my crunchy onion soup broth spilled all over my food with a puddle at the bottom of the bag!! These are ALL SEPERATE instances. I was appalled when the Manager Tony told me " maybe you should check all your food before you leave to see if it's correct, I'm not always able to check the food before it leaves the kitchen ". Yes Tony, I'm going to unwrap my whole to-go order everytime I come in, cut all the burgers to see if they are cooked right, bite into all the food to see if it's done right before I go! Then Tony offered to give me $2.00 off my next order! You should be fired for Poor Management! I'd rather buy a pre-made salad from Hannafords before I ever step foot back into your establishment !!

I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and my husband had the Caesar chicken wrap. We walked over and picked it up. The place was pretty empty as it was a Monday late afternoon. My husband was okay with his wrap although it wasn't anything special. Mine, on the other hand, was not good. The 'dip' was not able to be dipped at all. It was thick and not at all creamy. The cheese was coagulated. The artichokes were in big chunks and I found some of the fiber pieces from the artichoke and the spinach was scant. the dip did not taste like it was seasoned. Then, the chips provided were burnt. I had to dig around to find maybe 5 that were not a deep golden brown. Next, they included a slew of thinly chopped raw vegetables. I had never received raw vegetables with a spinach artichoke dip. Typically the inclusions are like pita chips and small bread slices Additionally, because of the way the vegetables were cut, I wouldn't have been able to use them, even if the dip was looser and creamier because they were too thinly sliced.. After two bites that I had to use a knife to spread on a few chips that I could find that were edible, I threw it away. We don't expect to be in the area again. But if we were, this place was definitely a one and done for us as far as the food is concerned. The second star is only at my husband's urging because his wrap was okay for him.

The place is geared towards takeout/pickup which has a counter with open kitchen and there is no seating inside. They also offer cooler drinks, Italian sodas, milkshakes, espresso drinks, and hot chocolate. The prices seem fair. I stopped by the new Zizza location in Manchester for takeout. I ordered the 12" Italian Sausage Cherry Peppers & Red Pepper Flakes ($15.50 plus tax), which I saw being quickly made, hand stretching the dough and topping with plenty of tomato sauce, sliced fresh mozzarella, ground Italian sausage and hot peppers and placed into the belt pizza oven. My pizza was all set and boxed in about 10 minutes. I enjoyed the pizza fresh out of the oven. The pizza crust was firm and chewy topped with plenty of zesty tomato sauce, melted mozzarella cheese, peppers and sausage, slightly messy. The pizza had mild spicy flavors, which was enjoyable. The pizza here is the real deal! I will definitely order from here again and get the fan favorite Zizza Mizza and the Fried Eggplant Ricotta Parmesan & Fresh Basil pizzas!
