This is such a cool little quilt shop! I'm not really a quilter but I wanted to pop in after an…read moreappointment nearby and see what this store was all about. There were a few ladies working who were all super friendly. The only fabrics (barring I think two bolts of solid cotton knit and some utility type fabrics) are quilting cottons. There are many options, and a great assortment of indie patterns, quilting focused notions, interfacings, thread (mettler, the best brand imo), and an assortment of machines. I asked about service costs for my serger that hasn't been serviced since it was purchased nearly 25 years ago. I was quoted $165 which I think is pretty reasonable. I loved all the little finished projects (especially the cute flamingo bags!) and the nice workspace in the back. The store is super clean and feels new.

I do continue to shop and purchase my supplies and fabric from S&S!! I love the variety of fabrics available and of course the friendly staff. I feel like I have stepped into my family home with everyone saying hello and asking about my current life events...it's welcoming like I am visiting all my Aunties and Home. As a Native American, family means everything and I always feel welcomed at Scrap & Sew as soon as I walk in the store. I'll continue to shop and visit the store and I hope you will too.

Over the course of framing numerous pieces of artwork, Bob has consistently provided thoughtful, artistic framing suggestions that beautifully enhance each piece. His passion for his work and his genuine dedication to customer satisfaction are unmistakable. It's rare to find someone so customer-centric, patient, and detail-oriented in this field. Unfortunately, this outstanding experience contrasts sharply with the front-end store management. On multiple visits, there have been too few cashiers for the volume of customers, resulting in long checkout lines and a frustrating experience at the register. On one visit, I actually had to put back a couple hundred dollars' worth of merchandise simply because the wait time was unreasonable. Despite this, I continue to return for the excellent service and quality provided by the art and framing team. Bob and his department deserve tremendous credit -- they are the reason I still do business at this location.

I don't recommend coming in here for fabric or fabric-related items. In that case, you might want to go to Joannes a few miles away. I stood at the fabric desk as I rang the bell several times and waited for the fabric worker to come to the desk, and then they begin but appear to be an all out search for the fabric girl by Hobby lobby employees. They should probably make a mini movie out of this story that I'm writing right now; I am not happy here.

They have a huge selection of all materials for sewing projects. Staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. A special thank you to Ms. Karen. She took me exactly to the area I needed to look in. She saved me time wondering around. They had plenty of the material I was looking for. Unfortunately I didn't find the right color. I noticed they offered different price ranges on all materials. They also offer sewing machines, machine repair, and project classes. Staff is available and ready to help. They are well staffed.

Our experience was a mixed bag. No greetings. No introductions. I was there for a sewing machine as mine ended up in storage in another state. Finally found a clerk willing to help me out, did the paperwork and actually was rejected for the payment plan. Zero redirect to the reconditioned machines as a possibility, which my daughter had found when we split up. *I only mention the rejection because we left, went to another store who used the exact same company for payment plans and was approved in minutes & walked out with what could easily be described as a higher value machine (&yes, price) in no time. Back to this store. I have no idea the organization of this store. I'm more of a clothes maker than quilting, but really only found formal wear materials and some others. Also buttons, but kinda sparse selections. I usually sew church clothes & work clothes but also other random items like pj's. All that to say, it didn't come across as a fabric store where a variety of styles are supported. I was persona non grata after my "denial" so the items I was purchasing outright got put back. I didn't have the plague & I had cash. Just not $3k+ in cash. Unsure how the business stays afloat as this is not a way to attract repeat business. My daughter saw how I was ignored and put her items back as well. Question for the owner. Is this a common style of customer service that you want to present? Why did the other shop offer a payment plan with the exact same company for a higher priced item than your store did?

Good job with the advertising and marketing there!! I actually paid attention to it while driving on the highway!! This store is really cute and quaint on the outside. The inside is just as beautifully decorated with the wooden floors. They have all the magic of the Native American culture from teepee lamp, crystals, Jewelry, Dreamcatchers, Native American teas, sage etc... My typical concern with stores like this (from my experience) is that they can be so expensive because of high end jewelry and stones, that you can hardly buy anything! I was fully expecting to go inside to just browse but not buy. I was pleasantly surprised that there were some items, like loose stones, I could afford there. However, for that day, I left with my box of tea, and some sage. It was what I needed most. This made me happy.
