I can confidently say that Dr. Botros is not only an honest and trustworthy physician, but also one of the few doctors who truly cares for her patients. My first son was born prematurely and required a great deal of support after he was finally discharged from the hospital. Dr. Botros made sure he received all the necessary care and attention he needed, which helped him grow into the healthy teenager he is today. For that, I am deeply grateful. My youngest son was also born prematurely due to a placental abruption. During that difficult time, Dr. Botros went above and beyond by coming to the hospital personally for his circumcision. I had accidentally overpaid her, and I didn't even realize it--but she took the time to find me at the hospital to return the money. That level of honesty and integrity truly speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. I have been taking my son to Dr Botros since he was a newborn, and let me just say that I really like her. However, the past few times I've gone, we have had another doctor, a rude, Middle Eastern man (I didnt catch his name). He's very very traditional, and seems to focus on the minor issues, instead of the major ones. Long story short, my son has a 102 temperature, and is a mess in the room, and the doctor is nagging me that he should not be have a pacifier at his age- I did not want a parenting counselor; I just wanted him to focus on my sons sickness. He also kept us waiting very long in the room (in between our session) and was just a bit off putting. I may be a bit sensitive, but when it comes to my child, I dont want to be scolded, or feel anything less than warmth. I will be looking for a new doctor. read more

My husband and I are new parents to our now 6 month old baby boy. Dr Botros was recommended to us from a family friend and despite our 25-30min. drive, we have to say that we are happy with our decision in choosing this pediatric office. Both Dr. Botros and Dr. Salhab are very friendly and approachable. They are knowledgable in their field and are always happy to answer any questions or concerns. All medical team is very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. Offices recently moved to a newer building, very clean and now with more doctors and nurse practitioner wait time has been minimized. I signed a document to transfer my children's records to their new doctor about 4 months ago. Nancy Botros office has not sent them any of my kids records to the new pediatrician. I was told it should take 10 business days. I didn't find out about their records till today when I took my kids to their pediatrician appointment. I just want to be done with this horrible place. Worst experience ever. Had to make an appointment weeks in advance. On the day of our appointment, was told they had no record of our child at all. They finally found him but had rescheduled him to an earlier appointment without notifying me. Now, expects me to wait another couple of weeks to be seen again. Dr. Botros Is A Really Good Pediatric Dr. She Explains Everything And Answers Your Questions Completely.

The urgent care knows my child better than the pediatrician, front desk does not listen, interrupts when I voice my concerns, and to make an appointment is pointless since they have to be booked far out. Physical exams which my child has had are also pointless since I am the one that dictates if my child is well or not, the appointment itself less than 5 minutes, I work for the medical field and honestly, I understand some days can be bad but I've given them so many tries that I have had it. I will be changing at the end of the month. Not recommended at all! Recommendation to the practice: promote the flu shot, get a seasonal temp so you can have more accessibility and better customer service! read more

Dr Nancy Botros has been my children's dr for the past 5 years. She is one of the best pediatrics dr around. My children love her and are not afraid to be seen by her. She is very knowledgable and takes the time to explain everything. She is also willing to answer any of our questions unlike other Drs where you have to pry answers out of them. One of the best pediatrician offices I've been to! I transferred to this office because I had a bad experience at another pediatricians office and I'm glad I decided to make that move. The staff is very nice and very professional. Delia who is front office receptionist is always kind and always is willing to help. Jessica who is one of the nurses is also very kind and she cares for the children. Marissa is also very sweet and is always willing to help. DO NOT GO HERE. I brought my newborn, and there is no sick room or healthy room. They have a sign for kids to stay on one side of the room to stay away from the healthy kids. How can that really be regulated? I have an vaccinated newborn and being near sick kids is not good. I finally had to tell the parents to keep them over on their side, please. I sat there for 20 min after I filled out all the necessary paperwork, and I hear the front desk call my insurance to verify benefits. Are you kidding me? This is something you are suppose to do day(s) before my appointment. I scheduled while I was in the hospital 4 weeks prior to appointment. Anyways, I deal with insurance and I know it takes at least 15 minutes to get the benefits over the phone. Can anyone else imagine waiting in a room full of sick kids for 45 minutes while holding your 1 month old? I get back there and the dr greets me by saying. Hi how are you? I say, "we're doing great, and she's been sleeping and eating regularly. He responds with.... a nod. He goes over to my daughter, checks her ears, throat, and diaper. Which I though was super weird. He opened her clean diaper, peeked in and closed it..... Just weird. Ready for this one.... He then tells me, "If for any reason you cant take care of her, you can bring her here" ARE YOU EFFING KIDDING ME? I said no, I want her, and she is very loved by me and my husband, and family..... I said this. I left, and told the front desk I wouldn't be back. This was January 2016. I even made note in my daughter's memory book how awful this Dr was. He didnt interact with her at all. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Antoune G. Saad in Upland, right next to the San Antonio Hospital. He interacts with my daughter, makes her laugh, and is always so helpful and fits me in anytime... even if I just show up. The staff is also very friendly and affectionate towards her, especially when shes not in the best of moods. They have a completely separate waiting room for sick kids, and another waiting room for healthy kids... My new pediatrician said his actions were strange and he apologized that I went through that. I have been with Dr. Saad for over a year now and even though m and my husband have switched to Kaiser, I have kept her insurance despite the cost because I want her to continue to go to Dr. Saad. That is not a normal thing to tell a new patient. My husband and I prayed for over a year to have a baby, and he's going to tell me I can bring her in if I cant take care of her? I am a healthy woman and even planned my pregnancy(not that it really matters as far loving your child) Not in a million years would I guess he wanted to work with children, or was a family Dr. I tell people he is an ignorant creep. read more

I have been coming to Nancy Botros office since 2005 when my son was born she is an excellent pediatrician she always listened to my concerns and address them even though sometimes they're were a few being a first-time parent. I would recommend her to anyone who asked she has recently merged and they are now children's choice pediatricians tDr. sahab and Dr. Elias in which both are also very good. My son had a few health concerns at birth and with the excellent care of Dr Botros and her staff he has overcome it all. My kids have been patients here since birth my oldest is almost 7 years old. I absolutely love it here. Doctors are absolutely amazing, always take their time. Never have trouble getting same day appointments when my kids are sick. Dr.Botros, and Dr. Sahib are awesome and I love them and had been seeing Dr. Botros since 2007 with my oldest. However, we have had issues with appointments and paperwork NOT being transferred out to another office. My biggest issue was when I requested a well child appointment to be booked with Dr. Botros, I was changed without notice to a NP that paid NO attention to the developmental milestones of my 2 year old who ended up being 12 months behind on speech. I took it upon myself to go to the regional center and find my own services. No one asked questions about words said or if my child could do other things like jump or balance. At a well child appointment, there are normal things that should be done with young children and it did not happen. Which is really sad because the doctors are great. Beware, wait time could be an hour, even if you are the FIRST appointment of the day. They also do NOT like to break up shots!! I refused to give my child 4 shots at one appointment, I wanted to break them up by a couple weeks. I was told if I chose to do that, I would have to pay a fee. Although I do not pay for shot appointments AT ALL. It was NOT called a copay, but an office FEE. I called my insurance and they said that would not be correct, that I would not have to pay a fee. read more

My daughter is 3 1/2 now and has been going to Dr. Botros' office since she was born. The office is fine, the nurses are nice and polite and the doctor is nice and polite and thorough in explaining when necessary. The downside is it takes literally forever and a day for the doctor to see your child. We wait at minimum 45 minutes to see the doctor and it makes me want to switch offices to a place that takes a patient's time into consideration. You make an appointment and it really doesn't matter because it seems like they have you waiting and waiting around as if you're a walk-in. The whole point of making an appointment is to be seen at the time you made the appointment for, right? Why is that so difficult. If time is important to you, I wouldn't suggest this office. There's a trade-off for the experience but even that is pretty basic. Not awful but not especially great either. I would rate 2.5 stars but that's not an option. read more

Dr Nancy Botros has been my sons Pediatrician since the day he was born! I have never met a more kind, empathetic, compassionate, understanding and competent doctor in my life! Not only does she listen to what I have to say, but she takes into consideration my input, needs and wants for my sons health and well being! Some doctors are so quick to get you in and out and prescribe antibiotics at the drop of a hat; not her! She takes her time, has the best bedside manner and my son adores her and actually loves coming to see her! She doesn't give unnecessary meds, therefore when she does say he needs something I trust her wholeheartedly! He had some health scares and severe reflux as an infant, she went above and beyond to diagnose and advocate for him! She would call me on my cell phone after hours to check on him when he was very sick or had a fever. I'm probably a little more anxious than the average mom, and she never once made me feel like I was out of line or being annoying! She heard everything I had to say and would ease my fears or order the necessary tests without being prompted. She is pretty much always right with whatever she diagnoses based on the presented symptoms and her office staff is kind and efficient; I can ALWAYS get a same day appointment if I call when they open and let them know we need one. The office is very clean, I did like the old office better but this one is nice too, and immaculate! She also allowed me to split up my sons vaccines as an infant, which I really appreciated! I can't say enough about her, I adore her and consider her extended family! My son is 4.5 now and I only hope she continues to practice for years to come, I can't imagine seeing anyone else! read more

I have been going to this pediatric office since my daughter was born. I started with Dr. Botros and she was always friendly and now they have another Dr...Dr. Salhab...he is an amazing pediatrician. Very easy to talk to and he makes my daughter totally comfortable. Dr. Botros is very good but in my opinion Dr. Salhab is easier to work with and my daughter likes him. (She's 2 btw) also I saw a review on here that was pretty harsh towards Danielle. Although it is none of my business what happened with that situation but from my personal experience, she is a huge part of what makes doctors visits here easier. She is amazing when giving shots and one time she was busy on the phone but I wanted her to give my daughter her shots and she had no problem takin the time to do it even though she was clearly very busy. I love how she treats my daughter with so much love as she's giving the shots. She reassures her and tells her that everything will be ok. She is fast at administering the shots yet thorough and as gentle as possible when giving the shots and I am ALWAYS happy with her. So over the course of 2 years and many visits she has always been sweet and completely professional. read more

She was able to diagnose my daughter's rare condition when other doctors could not, and ensured my child received the best care. Have been going to her for quite a while..she started bringing in a bunch of other doctors to fill in for her, and now she is hardly ever there.Just recently she had a sub doctor there who could not refill my sons prescription!!! First he didn't have any pads to write the RX on, then when he finally did, the pharmacy wouldn't fill it because it was under Dr. Botros name, and not his! This is my son's ADHD medication!!! They made him go without for several days. They blamed the pharmacies..and took no responsibility. Very rude! Will be looking for a new pediatrician ASAP! read more

here is some food for thought: i have never had any other patients complain about my ability to do my job. i have been doing it for the past five years and when other parents know of an impending appt or change of insurance they let me know in a timely manner ie: 10 business days in advanced, also i have gotten high praise from medical groups and ipas for my ability to do my job. read more

the doctor does a very good job and shows a lot of concern for her patients, however, i have never had such an inapt referral clerk, danielle that works for dr. botros. she will hold you back when you need any referral for specialists. it not only happened once but 3 times. she told me and the loma linda technician that the referral is coming within 72 hours and she should here something by the end of the day and when loma linda calls my primary directly the request was never ordered on monday and it's now thursday. she always has an excuse and preaches the precedures & policys ten fold but does not and will not give you custmer service she offers. we have tried to discuss this with dr. botros and unfortunately she doesnt seem concerned and avoided our call. danielle will eventually lose patients for dr. botros. when you end up contacting your insurance, your primary group and your specialist and they all tell you the same thing that were waiting on dr. botros there's something read more
