I still use her techniques to help calm myself during stressful situations. I recently got a tattoo under my arm on my ribs. It is a notorious sensitive spot. I was able to hypnotize myself during the 45minute tattoo. There were several times when I did not feel the tattooing. My sister had a tattoo the same day. When we looked at our tattoos, mine was less red and swollen then hers. I believe that it is because of Diane's hypnosis techniques helped keep me calm and relaxed during birth and tattoos!!

My midwife was concerned about a lack of emotional support for my birth and hoped I would find more resources in time! I met Diane and she immediately took me under her wing and scheduled an appointment. She soothed my fears and concerns about my upcoming birth, and sent me home with a hypnotherapy CD. I listened to the CD almost non-stop to get further practice for directing my body to relax. A week later the baby came!!! My midwife was so surprised with how easily my birth went, and how easily I was able to calm down between contractions, that she became a believer in hypnotherapy (previously a skeptic)! Normally the Hypnobabies program takes several weeks, but with just one session I was able to have an empowered home birth. Perhaps I would be willing to have more kids if I had time for the full course! I went back several times over the years to work through specific issues. Diane's approach is perfect for diving into a specific problem, gaining new insights, and ultimately finding the empowerment needed to succeed! I really appreciate how she always asks me about my daughter; her integral involvement in my birth will always make her part of the family!

Our 11 year old dog was in really bad shape. Not only does he have severe arthritis, we believe he…read moreinjured himself while we were away. All of the sudden he could barely walk, he was falling over, very unbalanced, and it was clear he was in pain and discomfort. Someone recommended we tried Reiki. Tanya came over to our house the first time. She was very kind and I picked up on her healing energy right off the bat. And so did Winston because as soon as she started, within 3 minutes, he was in a deep sleep laying on his side. She was able to feel the heat coming from his body and injured area. After the treatment, he seemed younger, more energetic, and was definitely moving around easier. I wouldn't say he was ready to walk 5 miles, but just moving around day to day, he experienced relief. Our second session was at her new location in Truckee. My husband took him and he said the room was really clean and nice. As far as the second session went, he didn't relax until near the end of the session, but likely he wasn't in as much pain as the first session and he was excited to sniff around and check things out. But I wasn't there so, I don't know! After, he is really happy, fired up, and seems all around mentally and physically like he's doing better. We will continue to have her do Reiki on our dog for sure. I think it's powerful, effective, and a really good thing for everyone.
