In my opinion, Jamie uses highly manipulative, coercive and controlling tactics to silence you about aging for a refund. She even sent as far as providing misinformation about matters that can affect health. This is highly concerting conduct especially for a dermatologist office. I am posting this review after multiple attempts to resolve this directly and professionally. I left messages the first time and I never revived a call from Dr. Ahdout. I posted a review and Jamie called right away. When I went in to show Dr. Ahdout the result of her work - at first I felt completely gaslighted because she was questioning me about why she would do a job like this. I was extremely surprised because I had known her from years ago and trusted her. She again asked this on the phone yesterday. She also said there are no before and after photos. I reminded her that I have before photos on my phone that her own assistant took. Dr. Ahdout also asked if I would agree to a credit. I declined. Dr. Ahdout then said that The Roxbury Institute had a "policy" that once a patient asks for a refund they can't return to the office. I informed her that if a business has a policy like that I most definitely would not want to work with them. Both her conduct and Jamie's conduct were revolved around keeping your money that they owe you once way or another. In my view, the aforementioned ate not policies and practices of a professional, caring and trustworthy business especially in the medical field. When I first brought up the refund issue, Jamie immediately became aggressive in the phone and used what felt like patronizing repetition. She kept repeating my name as soon as I mentioned a refund, which felt like an attempt to cut me off and stop me from saying what I needed to say. Jamie suggested to me that the tightness I was feeling in my face was "normal". She even pointer to her own face claiming that she felt right in that area as well. I knew that was not normal, because it made no sense at all. When I asked Dr. Ahdout directly, she also confirmed that was not the case and it should not feel tight and that it was not normal as Jamie said it was. I do not appreciate being gaslighted or having my concerns normalized as though this is something I should simply tolerate. This involves health and providing misinformation to patients can have great liability. Jamie also asked if I would want to do a correction. I declined. These various tactics mentioned that I believe were repeatedly used to keep my money and not refund me do not work for me. I am entitled to a straightforward refund process without having to chase after a refund that belongs to me. I noted in my review and also an email I forwarded to Dr. Ahdout's new email address as well as during her call yesterday that I only want to interact with her. Dr. Ahdout gave me her word yesterday that she will call me back herself. She did not. Instead Jamie called and went back and forth trying to say that it wasn't 2 items I purchased and it was 1.5. She said Dr. Ahdout said there was a confusion and it was 1.5 items. I informed her that's false. Again, I explained to her Dr. Ahdout confirmed with me both in person during the last appointment and also yesterday that it was 2 items. Jamie went back and forth for at least 10 minutes on this alone just arguing. I kept asking her to ask Dr. Ahdout. She refused. She inappropriately kept arguing instead. I asked her at least 3 times to talk to Dr. Ahdout. She wouldn't. She finally checked my invoice. I explained yet again and finally she agreed it was 2 items. Then she said their "corporate" is going to send me an email to sign "a form". I told her I'm guessing it is a release form. I refused. I clearly stated that I do not know what has been done and I need to see another doctor. I will not sign anything and patients should not before to sign a release form just to receive theyr refund. Jamie said she understood, but their corporate requires this before they refund and that they will contact me. I let her know I will not sign a release form and for them to not send me the release form, I also let her know that at this point I have to do a full chargeback on the 2 items. I contacted my bank and did a full chargeback on the agreed upon amount. If they create ANY extra emotional distress for me, more than they have already have, and dispute the amount - I will immediately involve my counsel without further notice and use all legal remedies to not only obtain my money in full, but also hold them fully liable for all damages including corrections needed as well as the emotional distress caused related to this matter. I will also expand my online review to Google and other platforms as needed.

    This is honestly the best facial treatment I've ever had im not kidding…read more I went to Eti after hearing so many recs, mainly because I have problematic skin. From the second you walk into her clinic you feel calm, clean vibes and such a good energy...I immediately felt like I was in really professional hands. she took the time to properly analyze my skin and explain exactly what she was doing at every step, why it suited my skin type, and what results to expect. The treatment itself wasn't just thorough and precise - it was also super relaxing and enjoyable. She did a deep cleanse but in a gentle way, no irritation, no redness, just done perfectly. I even let her shape my eyebrows - which as a guy I'm usually a bit nervous about(!!!) - and she did it in such a natural and subtle way. It didn't look overdone at all, just a clean, polished upgrade that really lifted my whole face. The products she uses feel super high quality too. By the end of the treatment my skin looked smooth, even, fresh, and glowing in a way I haven't seen in a long time. I walked out honestly SHOCKED by the results. Beyond the professionalism, Eti is warm, patient, and really makes you feel like you're her only client.     I had a disappointing experience here, which is unfortunate because the facial itself was great…read more I was initially quoted $350. During the service, everything was great until we got to extractions. After already going past 15 minutes, I was told there would be an additional $50 charge for "extra" extractions. This was not clearly disclosed beforehand, and I felt put on the spot to agree since the service was already in progress. The final total came out to $400. After the facial, I was shown "premium" products and told the total would be around $1,000, which had never been discussed. I explained that I could only afford around $500, and I was considering a selection of products within that range. However, when I asked whether one item, specifically an SPF, was necessary, the tone shifted. I was told there was no point in continuing to go over products if I was not going to purchase anything and that we "were not a good fit," to which I agree, but not because I asked questions or was unwilling to buy. As a result, I chose not to purchase anything and canceled the next appointment. I left feeling dismissed and unwelcome. As a young client still in college, I would have expected a more understanding and respectful approach rather than pressure. Overall, the lack of professionalism made this an uncomfortable experience.
