If I could give this business less than a one star, I would happily I have never in the history of living in Los Angeles encountered bad Botox I paid $780 which is usually way more than I would pay the week of the Oscars. it never took. I ended up with creases I didn't have prior. My eyes ended up sagging down. I called them. They wanted me to come in a second time. I did only made the situation worse ended up with the crease now between my eyes and they only gave me a partial refund on my lips. They offered to have me come in a third time I said I no longer trust you I want my money back. Verbally said they would never did I then showed up to their office three times they were never in sent me up to a different location. Spoke to a manager who said oh we certainly don't want small claims or a Yelp or Better Business Bureau and we will get back to you as soon as possible and no one ever did. I am still fighting them this need they need to go out of business. They're awful. read more

I am incredibly satisfied with my experience at Smooth Skin Lounge. I had some issues with some other locations, whether it was response time, location, customer service or something else but these guys really checked every box. There is even free parking for 2 hours half a block away! They were so sweet and welcoming when I came in, efficient with getting everything done for me, and it was very clean and comfortable. I was @smoothskinlounge about a week ago for a HydraFacial and it was the best!!! As part of working on myself this was perfect as I had never gotten anything like this before. It was an awesome experience and super simple to book an appointment. The staff is amazing here, definitely make you feel super welcome. Obviously as a first time client, there was forms to sign... but it was very quick and short forms. Aubrey was my esthetician and booooyyyyyy! was she amazing! Explained the procedure and she even got someone to go ahead and do short videos during the process. Now for parking they do have valet parking. Going back to the service, I left extremely satisfied with the service received but also my face felt so fresh and smooth, I loved it so much that I didn't even want to put eyeliner or anything else on my face. All these reviews are telling the truth!! I found about Smooth Skin Lounge through a Yelp elite event I attended back in March. They did such a fantastic job back then that I knew I was sold. I used to go to OU Beauty spa in Glendale but it is kind of far from me (I am kind of lazy to drive there). Process: I recently came back for a little pick me up and again it was a fantastic. The staff members are so knowledgeable with what they are doing they make you feel comfortable and explain every step of the process. I made an appointment through text super easy. They confirm the day of the appointment. The check in easy specially if they have your information. You check in through an iPad and they take you to the back right away and ask a couple of questions before your procedure. I was in and out it no time with no bruising or pain. Parking: Valet and metered parking out front. Customer Service: 5/5... Awesome and knowledgeable staff. Decor: 5/5 It is really beautiful decorated inside and they have those oil diffusers going that smell amazing ( I stole their idea last time). PS...They honored a voucher I had received in March through the yelp elite event without any questions. I still have a gift card to spend so I will be definitely coming back even after my gift card. I've been coming here for over a year or so and it started out great. Lovely service and practitioners. Unfortunately the past few appointments have left me feeling not great about spending money here. Yesterday I was asked if I could move my appointment up from 5pm to 3:30. I said yes but had to be out by 3:45. They said they would make sure I would be. I didn't get checked in until 3:45 annoyingly. No one seemed to care. My nurse provider was incredibly cranky. She said she was over people. I have a bump where she injected me. I bled in 3 places which never happens. Feel like for the price it's not exactly the service I want. Might go elsewhere. It's fine. I had a wonderful facial here by Arianna and after reading many reviews about Saira (NP) who is an amazing injector, I had to come back! Let my photo speak for itself! I came in for botox and had about 10 units to my forehead, 10 units at the "11" and a mini brow lift (4 units or so). I want to start off by saying this was my first time with botox so I was a bit nervous. Saira was the sweetest and most ethical injector I have met. She said we'd start off with the bare minimum and if I felt like I needed more in a few weeks or so, I could come back. The experience was nearly pain-free! I left with no bruises, bumps, or bleeds. Overall, I am really happy with the results and it has been only one week. I will definitely be back soon to try out some Juvederm for my laugh lines. What a self treat. I had the best experience at Smooth Skin Lounge. They have valet or street meter parking on Ventura Blvd. The minute you walk in, the reception area is clean, bright, vibrant, and service with a smile from Betty. Betty is kind, personable, and checked me in right away. She gave me an iPad to fill in my information and to sign waivers. After I waited less than 5 minutes for my aesthetician, Arianna to come and greet me, while walking me to her room to begin the hydrafacial. The room is serene, very dim, sets the mood to relax and be present. Arianna is very skilled and knowledgable within skincare and all of the processes. I told her it was my first time and she walked me through each step of what is going to happen, what it does for my skin, what it feels like, and I truly respected her more for that. The whole process lasted a little over an hour. We took a before and after photo. After the hydrafacial, my face felt super clean, glowy, and hydrated. It was such a beautiful experience for my first time doing hydrafacial. For me, it does not hurt at all, including extractions. Everyone was informative, kind-hearted, nice, and truly answered all of my questions regarding skincare, skin regime, what products to use/buy or avoid, etc. I ended up purchasing the Vitamin C serum and I would definitely come back to Smooth Skin Lounge and I live in OC! Went to Smooth Skin Lounge for a hydrofacial this past week in preparation for an upcoming vacation. Went in April and got an appointment within the next week of calling. The facial took about 45 minutes total and it was great. Estefany C was my beauty professional and she was great! Analyzing my skin and then talking me through each step and product she was using. I felt relaxed and even on the pinch points like the additional extraction, she was doing it with the utmost care. My skin feels smooth and I can see a minimization of my pores. I wouldn't recommend this place. Yesterday, I got the hydra facial. The esthetician Stephanie who was 10 minutes late, started the procedure without even looking at my skin or talking to me about. It was a very impersonal and cold experience. She was very rough in her delivery. I woke up this morning with two scabs on my face and a dozen whiteheads. I asked her if she's the only one who does this facial and she replied that she's the only one that has her own practice outside of the business and is the most highly trained. Several times during the treatment she shared how qualified she was. I was also told that the facial included vortex and manual extractions given that that was my chief concern. She did no manual extractions and when I questioned her, she said I didn't need it. When I got home there were plenty of blackheads that needed to be addressed that she didn't do. read more

I got a special for $99 that included 3 different treatments. It was one of those packages you purchase from a sales rep offsite - a girl was selling it at my workout studio. The first treatment was a hydraFacial that retails for $300. The description did not say it was a mini or express version. but from checking in to the time I was done and out the door, was just under 40 minutes. Obviously rushed treatment. I spent the same amount of time under the red light as the esthetician spent actually working with her hands. Ive had many facials and would never pay full price for this and i'm glad I didn't...guess you get what you pay for? I can't speak to their other services but my experience was subpar enough to dissuade me from returning. There are so many (and more reasonably priced) places in the Valley! read more
