The service has always been good, though I've always gotten my food to-go so my interactions have been brief. The food is ready on time and piping hot, which is nice for a to-go order. The wife and I stopped in here around 6pm for dinner and we were seated right away. Our waitress "Supriya" came over right away to take our drink orders and explain the menu. Our drinks arrived pretty quickly, but it took a little longer then normal for our meal to arrive. My wife and I ordered the chicken and lamb tikka masala and it was really good and the meat was very tender. The restaurant was very clean and quiet. Immediate 5 stars for my taste buds!!! This location is literally across the street from me, and I'm just visiting. I guess everything is in it's own time. Now! The butter chicken!!! I got it spicy, but the flavors go through the roof! Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service I love it! I think it's Basmati rice and it's sooo good. Food, service, and ambiance all fantastic. This is an experience - not a simple dinner out. Opened for lunch 10:30am to 2:30pm and they re-open at 5pm. I arrived at 1:45pm and was greeted with a smile by the bartender who was clearly busy with customers at her bar. Nevertheless, she smiled and indicated I could sit anywhere comfy. Wasn't seated long when she approached with a menu and returned with a standard table starter of Papad with tamarind and mint sauces. Prior to entering, there were daily specials posted, so I went for the Raspberry - Pineapple mojito - DELICIOUS! The appetizer was Jhol Chicken Momo, main dish - Chicken Biryani. The appetizer came out after the main dish because it takes longer to cook. Both exceeded my expectations. Super large portions. Now, they give you the option of choosing your level of spicy, and the Biryanis is accompanied by a lovely, cooling yogurt with veggies mixture (on the side) which tempered the heat. Great! The heat does NOT drown out the flavors. Hearty, hot, wholesome, healthy. I loved every bite of these super-portioned meals. On your way out there is Swop - take a small spoonful to freshen your breath and help your digestion. read more

My wife and I enjoyed a great Happy Hour meal and drinks at the bar. Excellent selection of beers on tap and my wife had the Lemon Drop Martini. We loved the steamed mono's as an appetizer and then shared the fried rice with vegetables, chicken, and shrimp. Service was excellent and we'll be back again soon. read more

I had been dragging my feet about going to the new Nanglo Restaurant on N Collins because I have never cared for rice or curries. My friend encouraged me to go to Nanglo and I was blown away! I had the chicken Chow Mein. It was to die for! The free corn chips were light and airy and the green and brown dips were delicious. My friend and I tried the garlic basil Naan--Delicious. My friend had the chicken tikka masala and loved it. I have a new favorite place to go, and it's right across the street from the Viridian, where I live. read more

Our Server and Waitress seated us immediately, and were SO friendly! We got the Chili Steamed Momo, and the Steamed Chicken Momo at Medium Spice, and . Yum yum yum. We got the little crisps that are made I think of lentils as well? The sauces are SO yummy. The brown sauce is like, tangy but sweet but also spicy all at the same time, and the green sauce is CHEF'S KISS! Minimal amounts in each chafing dish and food didn't taste or look fresh. None of their sauces or dressings were labeled. I would not recommend eating buffet style here, at the risk of health issues. Tried the steam dumplings , lamb biryanis and chicken tika- all delicious and high quality. Price was same as other Indian places in the area that did not have very good food or quantity so if your looking for a Nepalese/Indian place in Arlington, this is it. Ok. We tried this place on 2 separate occasions. NEVER AGAIN! Like the first time we ordered the curry goat and curry lamb. The goat needed salt. The lamb was clearly not lamb. It was beef. The 2nd time we dined in. Service was meh. We asked for water and tea. Never got the water. Vibe was quite inside. But this time we got the curry goat, chicken lollipop (bland). We ordered off the main menu because they don't have a 'lunch' menu. I had the lamb biriyani which I ordered 'medium' heat. Next time I will have it 'hot'. I've been coming to Nanglo frequently for about 6 months and in the beginning they had some of the best tasting Nepalese food! However, every time I come back they switch the recipes up and I've noticed a slight decrease in the flavors of the dishes. It would be great if they played ethnic music as well, they have loud pop music and it's not a calming dining experience and not enjoyable to listen to when eating. My favorite dishes are the pan fried chicken momos (the best in the area) and they're naan bread is delicious! read more
