1/2 of a burrito (the restaurant calls it a "full" burrito)

The "buy 1 get one free" burrito offer from 1/29/2026 is a scam. Only received one full burrito cut in half and paid $33 for it.

High-Protein Athlete Bowl, Garlic naan, Mango Lassi
    Jojo N.

Got the Athlete High Protein Bowl ($14) after a huge workout. Came with 2 scoops chicken and 2 steak. Great price for protein ratio, however, it doesn't normally come with curry (kind worker asked me if i wanted to add and of course i did). Overall, very sweet (I guess you can add less if you make your own), curry was okay and not as tasty as an authentic curry, nice workers, mango lassi and garlic naan were okay (naan is textbook supermarket with light butter and garlic spread).

Tikka Masala Bowl Combo (Traditional) added jalapeños, side of sour cream side of sweet and spicy red chili sauce. With the garlic Naan.

This picture won't do this place justice. I got the Tikka Masala Bowl w/ chicken added jalapeños, red chili sauce on side and sour cream on the side. Garlic Naan bread too (incredible) Perfect amospice and flavor. They give you a lot of food too! So so so good!!!!

I am feeling a little so-so about this place. I wanted to love it, and there are many things to love, but it just fell flat for me. The food is pretty good, albeit not super hot (temperature more than spice). The cilantro sauce is tasty and there's a nice balance of texture and flavors. What was less satisfying was the cleanliness and service. I waited a while before anyone even came out from the back to help with orders. Three people were working the evening I stopped in, yet, the food line was not well stocked and there wasn't a single clean table in the place. In a way, I understand why this has a high rating on Yelp. I bet, with attentive staff, clean tables and hotter food this would be a "five star" sort of place. The night I went was below average.

Tika bowl half chicken half steak with cilantro, rice, smoky curry sauce

I have been wanting to try this place for quite a while now and I'm glad I finally made it!! it is an Indian/Mexican food That is similar to how chipotle serves. Cilantro rice in a bowl I got half chicken and half steak, (they also do a salad bowl option ). Then you have an option of three different styles of Curry, I chose the smoky which is a little spicier, and the flavor rivals many of the other Indian food locations at about half the price. beyond the Curry there are four or five other sauce toppings you can get, I opted for the spicy cilantro and sour cream. Staff is super helpful and friendly! If you're looking for something different, that is delicious and has a reasonable price I highly recommend this place!!

FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz **** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: Indian version of chipotle Very similar to the concept! THE VIBE: grab & go/casual dining/literally like chipotle PRICE: ~$20 (bowl and naan) WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! **** Overall Rating: 10/10 - If you're craving Indian food but need it on the go, this is the perfect spot to go to grab and go Indian food. - The ordering concept is exactly like Chipotle. The employees are super nice and help walk you through the process and there's lots of choices. - I honestly forgot what sauce I got but tbh they are all really good (you can sample them) and I mixed two of them. I remember getting paneer which I loved and tried my friend's chicken bowls and they were good too. - The employees are super nice and helpful. The naan was a bit too wet but the flavor was on point!

    Mango Lassi

Tried out Tikka bowls and tacos yesterday, and it was definitely a 10/10!!! I ordered byo bowl with white rice, goat, spicy curry, fresh jalapeño, cabbage, pico, & mango salsa. Samosas were so fresh and flavorful, mango lassi was the best I've ever had. Andddd all the sauces were delicious! Pineapple guacamole, cilantro lime, red chili, & a tamarind sauce. I will definitely be going back soon! Total price was $23, definitely worth it!

Smoked Tikka Masala Bowl Combo (Traditional) Samosa Chaat

Fast service, the food tasted good as well. Will definitely come again. I tried the Samosa chaat and the smoked tikka masala bowl.

Really great fast Indian cuisine! Think Chipotle and Indian fusion. I got a chicken bowl topped with Tikka Smoked Curry. The curry was smoky (duh) and just spicy enough. Added a side of garlic naan, super delicious while it was warm. I love the concept and will come back!

    Pani Puri
    Tina D.

An Indian/Mexican fusion similar to chipotle but cheaper. The prices are so affordable, and they are very generous with their portions. I had their tacos naan and they let me mix and match my meat and curry options. Really great variety to choose from. I also got their burrito, and it is huge. Will keep you full until dinner. It was also my first time trying the pani puri. You add in the bean and potato inside the crispy pastry and mixed both sauce into it. Then eat it in one go. The brown sauces is sweeter than the clear one, and they were really interesting since it's served cold.

What if I tell you that Indian Style Chipotle exists!! As a big fan of both Indian food and Chipotle, I am now a bigger fan of this unique concept. Imagine Indian Curry coexisting with your bowl or burritos.. and I've not even mentioned the best part yet -- the tikka masala chicken wings that I'm truly obsessed with! But the garlic naan though, served the way I want my naan with that massive amount of garlic and oil! I can honestly go on & on and I'm just glad Tikka Bowls & Tacos has finally arrived in DFW.. and the service was great... and don't forget to grab a cup of mango lassi too! What we got: Steak Bowl with Tikka Smoked Curry - $11.99 Chicken Burrito with Vindaloo Curry - $10.99 Tikka Masala Wings - 5 pcs for $7.99 Garlic Naan - $2.69 Mango Lassi - $2.99 RED'S PRO TIP: If you're a big sauce fan of anything just like me then ask for extra white sauce on top of your burrito, bowl, salads, yup

Naan Tacos with chicken, red curry, mango salsa, lettuce, and cilantro sauce

It's so good! I'm normally picky about Indian food because most places (in my opinion) use too much spice. This however was perfect. I love that I could choose exactly what I wanted in it and how much of everything I wanted. They were also super nice. This place deserves a lot more hype. The price of it was also very reasonable. The burritos are huge!

Taipo is a little speakeasy restaurant behind a hidden entrance and it's a fun vibe, especially for date night. We stopped in one evening and Rasham was bartending while Mia was shadowing on her first day but her actions let us know she's an industry pro - which she was. They both gave great recommendations for food and drinks. We got Nepali Reaper Momos, Sichuan momos, chicken chow mein, mango habanero tofu, an old fashion and a strawberry margarita. Everything was flavorful, but my favorites were the Nepali-style fries, the sichuan momos, and the chicken chow mein. The reaper momos were good but they were pretty spicy (coming from people who ordered most of the spicy things on the menu haha). The interior was ornate and beautiful but again, the service is what couldn't be beat. Rasham went above and beyond to provide an experience for us showering us with bubbles for a nice photo and adding some flare and glitter to my strawberry margarita. Mia was knowledgeable of their menu and overall nice to talk to while we sat and ate at the bar. Definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back soon!

You can pick a regular or large bowl with either salad, brown rice or white rice as your base or half/half. I had a regular bowl with spicy salmon, which was good! I don't usually eat raw, but the guy behind the counter said it was one of his favorites. They can let you sample it first before you pick it for your protein. My bowl contained spicy salmon, cooked shrimp, jalapeños, green onions, crab meat, and seaweed salad. Everything is so fresh! They have different toppings and sauces you can choose from. They were out of avocado today, :( bummer. The inside was clean, and just a quiet atmosphere. The employees are friendly, and answer any questions you may have. It's a little hidden gem.

My base is typically white rice, it's always soft & fluffy, never old. There are a lot of poke options, I'd recommend any of the shoyu, hawaiian, or caviar ones. The others ones I just haven't tried. Their seaweed toppings is great, I love that these are in strings versus the flat seaweed pieces that other places have. Avocados are fresh, never browning & the crab salad is a must. I do miss that they no longer offer masago for a topping, but I'm sure there's a reason whether it's accessibility or price. Friendly staff, quick service. I paid about $17 total for a regular bowl (two poke scoops, up to 5 toppings), not a bad price with a large portion. If you like poke, I'd definitely recommend stopping by.
