Jenny is AMAZING!!! I've been searching for someone like her since I moved here 5 years ago. She is careful, precise and pays very close attention to how she does nails. When I first went to her she was nice, explained to me what she was doing and gave me advice without being pushy. Her prices are very reasonable especially if you take into consideration the high quality nails she produces. At other places I've gotten my nails done I've paid either the same price or more. Nani Nails is a great place to get your nails done. I have a couple of go to places and this is one of them. I love the way Jenny does my nails and she is VERY serious about her work. You can tell she is the BOSS...lol I would love to make this my permanent spot however the only downside is that her husband has the TV set to SPORTS...ugh! I don't want to get pampered while listening/watching sports...most of us ladies would like to have a relaxing time while listening to music. Had to give an update because now I'm super mad about my nails... so, it appears the woman filed the crap out of my nails with that damn machine when she did the acrylics. I'm trying to let my natural nails grow back out and my thumb and pointer finger nails on my right hand are completely deformed! There is just one word for this salon. AWEEESOME. Both Jenny and Tai are true ARTISTS when it comes to nails.They are perfectionists and use one of the best gels and gelish that is on the market right now. Actually all their products that they use on the customers seems to be all the newer ones. They seem to knoww all the newest trends and styles and glitters. Man their glitters are absolutely stunning!!! Also whats really good about this salon is its clean. Jenny usually does my nails and I have the gelish on but she knows how to mix the gel colors with her own type of glitter and she also customizes the colors of the glitters to your needs. I have never seen it done before and i have been having my nails done for over 15 yrs.But needless to say I found her almost 8 yrs ago and have been with her since. I have also seen tais nail art and he is also as good as it gets with the glitter and all the nail arts. Their pedicures are also really good cause it comes with a good massage ;) I also had my eyebrows tattoed and that is just the greatest. The feathering she did is fantastic cause it looks so soft and natural. Her technique is aweeesome. There seems to be ample parking in the back of the salon with also an entryway in the back. Ok to start off, I love this nail salon! Jenny and Tai are the best. I came here with one of my girlfriends to get our nails done for her birthday. To start off, it's located near UH and we found easy street parking. We just did a walk in (they prefer appointments since it's only them two working, which is understandable!) I showed Jenny the type of nails I wanted which was an ombré acrylic. I also had two broken nails that she perfectly fixed! Poor service. I went in for an eyebrow wax and came in early. I was the only customer there. I felt they rushed me. The lady who did my wax was forceful with her movements, pushing my head around. The wax came out okay but I simply asked for a "clean up" and still had to make adjustments when I got home. There were still some stray hairs. I would only go here if I needed an emergency wax. They actually care about their customers because they always ask if "im ok" or if their pressing too hard. They also give students a 10% discount! My sister and I got the last two appointments of the day, and even though we were late (we got lost getting there) she and her folks stayed to give us awesome pedicures. Jenny did designs for both of us that blew away anything we've gotten in our hometown. Very intricate plumerias and polka dots for my sister and palm trees with sunsets for my big toes. Jenny said she would do designs based on photos/images we brought it, if we wanted. A little pricier than other nail places, but totally worth it! We'll be back. read more

Loved this place!!! Only docking one star off because of the price of the pedicure but the service was phenomenal. I had a male associate do my pedicure and I was shocked by how much precision and time he put into perfecting my toes and making sure I got a great leg massage. At one point I even started having an allergic reaction to the lotion and my legs became extremely itchy and red. I couldn't help but itch!! This was probably really annoying while he's trying to paint my toes but instead he stayed calm and got me warm towels and then this cooling gel that finally worked. I was really pleased by the service because I can imagine how annoying my itchy legs were ! And when we checked out, the lady automatically gave us a 10% student discount which was awesome. Best Gel Manicure I've gotten. I've gone to a bunch of different places on both Oahu and Maui this is by far the best. I've gotten a gel manicure 3 or 4 times now from Tai and they've all been exactly what I wanted. The manicures from Tai here also last longer than other places I've gone. Not too much conversation but I like that get in, get the job done, and get out they are busy people and so am I so it works. Just not a fan of them being closed on Sunday's and they usually have another person doing pedicures which have been average. I'll still keep returning for the amazing, quick, and reliable gel manicures from Tai. BTW: Jenny is great too, my sister in law got her nails done by Jenny for her wedding and she loved them, I think Jenny is harder to get an appointment with because she is more social and can do fancier designs and glitters and add-on's (bows, diamonds, etc).
