After both Nano Hip replacements in 2024 I can SKI! Also had a Nano Knee in 2020. I really cannot even tell I ever had them done. Dr Ferro's is an Absolute Amazing Sergeant. Skied 5 months after my last surgery. Nano is worth it! Thank you Team Nano! Great Job!

This review is for the Arroyo Grande, CA office of Dr. Thomas Ferro. One day this September 2025, at different points during the day, I had the worst experience I have had with a professional (and I hesitate to call this office professional) office in my 78 years long life. That first contact I had with this office--I was kept on hold for 15min for a simple question. Then later in the day, at the time I had had scheduled for over a month, I was told that my appointment with Dr. Ferro was minutes away, and then waited 1.5 hours from my scheduled appointment time, and still Dr. Ferro was "talking to other patients". The receptionist handled my at least 5 calls to this office, incompetently. I asked to speak to the office manager, and after telling her of the ordeal I had been through that day with the receptionist, was told to "give her a break she was in high school, and new". Also, the $8500 you pay here, out of pocket, to cover the Kinematic Knee Alignment, is included as part of your Medicare/secondary Insurance billing with 3 doctors that I have seen recently, who do this kinematic knee replacement procedure--Dr. Stephen Howell and Dr. Alexander Nedopil, Lodi, CA; and, Dr. Robert Caravelli, Napa, CA. All 3 with excellent reviews, and Dr. Stephen Howell who developed the procedure in 2005.

Dr Vance Eberly and his staff are amazing. I had the nano knee procedure on my right knee on 3/14/23. The communication with Dr Eberly and his staff was perfect. I have needed a knee replacement for about ten years. I did not want to do the traditional knee surgery. So I started looking on the internet and YouTube. After watching countless videos and reading reviews, information and anything I could find out about the procedure and Dr. Eberly I chose this get the knee replaced. So far everything is going well. If anyone wants information about my experience you can contact me. I could not have asked for a better doctor and staff. After the leg heals I will post more photos. Four months after my surgery and my knee is working great. I cannot praise Dr. Vance Eberly enough. He is an amazing person and surgen. If you have questions about my experience with nano knee inbox me.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Dr. Fa and the staff at both Los Angeles (consultation and follow ups) and the San Luis Obispo locations (surgery) Had my first consultation for a bone on bone concern was able to get evaluated get into the system and had my surgery done within 45 days I'm five months postop and will see it's night and day difference been able to ride a bike been able to work around the yard up and down stairs brisk walks runs etc. I would recommend this alternative surgery for anyone with knee concerns

At 50 years old, I was hesitant and scared. I had heard so many negative things about spinal fusions, and being a high-risk patient with a history of blood clots only added to my fears. But from the moment I met with Dr. Rogers and Dr. Satterfield, I felt heard and understood. They took the time to explain everything clearly and compassionately. My X-rays and MRI made it undeniable--my spine had slipped to the point that surgery was the only option. It wasn't going to get better on its own, and I wasn't getting any younger. In early February, I had the surgery. From the very first time I got up afterward, I was pain free--something I hadn't experienced in years. Now, eight weeks later, I'm still pain free and healing well. I am beyond grateful that I chose to trust these incredible doctors. They gave me my life back, and now I have a future full of possibilities ahead of me. Thank you, Dr. Rogers and Dr. Satterfield, for your skill, your kindness, and for helping me reclaim a life without pain. Angela M.

Initially, he told me he would remove the screws/hardware. Later, he changed his opinion and essentially told me I should just live with my arm the way it was. After continuing to struggle with the limitation, I went back for a third appointment. At that visit, he finally agreed to proceed with hardware removal and a capsular release, but the entire interaction made me feel as though he was reluctantly doing me a favor rather than helping a patient who had been dealing with this problem for months. I also felt rushed, interrupted, and unable to fully explain my concerns or ask questions. His attitude toward me felt dismissive and condescending, and I left the appointments feeling that I had not been given the same patience or respect I would expect from a physician. I completely understand that no doctor can guarantee the outcome of a surgery, and I never expected a guarantee. What bothered me was the inconsistency, the dismissive attitude toward my concerns, and the lack of follow-through. I was told that authorization for the surgery had been submitted, but after that I never received any follow-up from the office. After multiple appointments and months of trying to find a solution for my elbow, I expected much better communication, consistency, and compassion. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I would not recommend this doctor.
