They gave me a couple of prescriptions. After another week still having problems. Called on a Monday. Just said leave a message. Did not identify as a Dr's office, local dump or anything else. Called back today. I finally got a call back, but it rang once hung up. I called it back. Again the Damn foreign call center. I refuse to talk to a call center about a medical problem. Will never use Chesapeake Urology again. Surgery was April 1 2026. My first appointment May 18th. Customer care is 0. Only reason for a 2 is that they fit me in to do the Surgery. I would not recommend this practice…read more Not only did I receive significantly better care after transferring to Johns Hopkins, but it wasn't until I left this office that I realized how much higher the standard of care could be elsewhere. Looking back, I have concerns about the thoroughness, organization, and overall management of this practice. To make matters worse, I recently received a bill for services from more than a year ago that apparently had never been submitted to my insurance and therefore never applied to my deductible. Shortly afterward, I received another delayed bill from the end of last year. This level of billing disorganization is on par with the care they provide. When I called the phone number listed on the bill to get clarification, I was told that "unfortunately, you have to call a different number". No one seemed able to help or take ownership here. Overall, my experience has been disappointing. Between the quality of care and the ongoing billing problems, I wish I had never step foot in this practice.

Keep in mind, this urgent care is in the SAME building as this office. I made an appointment with my gynecologist to follow up on the results (since they were releated to her speciality) and to make sure I didn't need additional follow up on other symptoms I was experiencing. When I arrived the nurse (I'm not sure who she was because she didn't introduce herself) came in and said "Why are you here?" I explained why I was there and that I had additional concerns. She said that they were unable to go over another provider's results. Um...excuse me? My doctors have always gone over results from other offices especially when they're related to their speciality. This "other provider" was under the same network! She then told me I should never google my symptoms. She was condescending and disrespectful. My Obgyn finally came in, never did an exam, and also dismissed me and my concerns. I ended up going to my GP and it turned out that I had a bad UTI/bladder infection. I had also been messaging about irregularities in my periods for months prior to this appointment and they had been blowing me off. Turns out, the symptoms I was experiencing were all related to the very common infection urgent care treated me for! So the infection had been allowed to go for months because they had been completely dismissive of my concerns. I then tried to find another local OBGYN but they required receiving my records from here before they would make an appointment. I called THREE TIMES and they still never sent over the records. I am so disappointed and disgusted with this practice. DO NOT GO HERE! They will dismiss your concerns and put your health in danger.
