It is marked in purple on most maps and the symbol is a pine tree. The Pascack Line runs 31 miles with 6 miles in New York and the rest in New Jersey. Stations include Hoboken Terminal, Seacaucus Junction, Wood Ridge , Teterboro, two stops in Hackensack (Essex Street and Anderson Street), two stops in River Edge, Oradell, Emerson, Westwood, Hillsdale https://www.yelp.com/biz/hillsdale-station-hillsdale?hrid=3MI6jifJj7iCaif-hiQBmQ, Woodcliff Lake, Park RIdge, Montvale, Pearl River, Nanuet and Spring Valley. The line is single tracked so it's not exactly speedy and the service is far from frequent. Most trains on the line use Comet series passenger cars, although Bombardier MultiLevel coaches are sometimes used on this line. I rode the Pascack inbound from Hillsdale to Hoboken and a few days later, outbound. The ride was smooth enough, the train was certainly roomy (they could cut a few cars for sure) and the conductors collected tickets along the way. I had purchased my ticket with the NJ Transit app and displayed it as requested. My trips took about an hour which is certainly easier than trying to drive into the New York area and find parking! Nanuet, NY - located at the Nanuet Town Center (formerly known as the Shops at Nanuet), Go Playland…read moreis one of the newest indoor play spaces in Nanuet. I switch up several play venues with my toddler and this is probably my favorite one. Why? 1. The play gym structure has a lot of variety and gives a good workout for my kiddo. We've been to a larger complex in NJ and another maze-like one nearby, but this is the perfect size for my older toddler, with just as much to do and explore, while not easily losing sight of your kids. 2. Admission is $20 for all day in/out access (includes an adult. $5 for additional adults). There's no snack bar inside but this means you can leave to eat something and come back. We usually like to grab a bite at Sombrero Tacoria just a few doors over, or Patsy's Pizzeria in the other direction. Babies and younger kids have a separate play area with a playhouse, pretend play structures, wooden train set, oversized Lego blocks, and Magnatiles. The front has a seating area with tables and seats where kids can take a snack break and parents can hang. The facility is clean and in great condition.

Space is clean and the kids had fun. However, workers need to be more vigilant about adults who…read morebreak rules such as wearing shoes and changing their baby's diapers in the play area. Last time I went, there were two women who consecutively changed their baby's diapers inside the play area, right in front of the slides. I told the worker about this as I was leaving but I doubt he did anything about it since he was sitting outside, and continued to browse on his phone as I was driving away.
