This location is like the others that I have been to. Clean, airy, bright (plenty of windows letting sunlight in). I have shopped at this location several times, staff is friendly, nice selection of cookware, dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, mixes, spices, etc. I have taken 2 cooking classes there. Including a class for Steak, Salad, Mousse. It was fun, and informative. Class was a little over 2 hours. We were taught by a renowned chef who walked us through every step in the process. See attached pictures, but in the end, we had a delicious meal prepared by all 4 of us at our station. We also got a discount to use that day on any items we purchased. In addition we were emailed the recipe and ingredient list, and a coupon on a future class. I recommend a class if you have time.

I'm glad I found out about the cooking classes when I just happened to be in the store. There was a schedule for that month posted on the back wall near the restrooms. I immediately wanted to take a baking class then ended up taking several classes like Knife Skills, Intro to Sushi, Delicious Dim Sum, Tamale Making just to name a few. When I was inside the store, the staff were always very friendly and helpful. The chefs were consistently amazing to learn from. They were great with walking the class through the steps and answering our questions at the same time. I loved their team approach...having us work in a group or in a pair depending on the capacity in the kitchen. An added bonus was taking the recipes home. I remember a few years back it was nice to sit down as a class, eat together and socialize; but nowadays, I noticed we've been taking our dishes home. I wonder if it recently went back to how it was originally. Anyway, I always had a fun time cooking, learning something new and meeting people. Had a great time at this virtual cooking class for virtual work offsite. We did the dumpling making…read moreclass. The class was supposed to be an hour but we went over by about 15-20 minutes. As a very very infrequent chef, I thought the pace and teaching of the class was good. My partner was impressed which says a lot. We learned to make everything from scratch from the dough to the filling. The pre-class prep is very important especially to get the class going on time for you! The prep work in chopping up the ingredients was around 20-25 min, but much faster if you have a food processor. The other kit that was shipped was packaged nicely and some ingredients given were measured to exactly what we needed. During the call you'll make ~6-8 dumplings but the ingredients and the prep you'll do can make around ~32 dumplings so expect to have some time after the video call with finish wrapping! I cooked about 8 more and then made the rest of the dumplings and stored in the freezer! Over, a fun time!!

I was extremely disappointed we didn't actually cook anything. Everyone was very nice but my expectations for a $100 + cooking class per person were not met considering we didn't cook anything. I was handed a packet with all the recipes for the food we were "making". The first recipe was the crab rangoon except all we did was stuff the wonton wrappers and actually put it together. Same with the bao buns. At no point were the porcupine meatballs even a thing. They were made prior, mentioned, and put on our plates. Everything was made in advance. So I paid to fill wonton wrappers and get printed out recipes I could find online. Also, we weren't even going to get to stuff the bao buns. They were going to have a group of people do each thing - 1 to stuff the buns and the other crab Rangoon except I said I wanted to do the buns too so everyone got to do a couple. Honestly the food was bland except for the bao buns. I won't be using their recipes. Truely disappointed and feel like I was swindled out of money. They should be more forthcoming about what this "cooking class" entails. It's not actually cooking.

I went back to the store simply asking to exchange the damaged items--not even for a refund--and was shocked by how I was treated. The store manager was beyond rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. I explained that the items had just been purchased and were already broken, yet I wasn't even allowed to exchange them for undamaged ones. What should have been a very simple customer-service issue turned into an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I shop at Hobby Lobby regularly and have spent plenty of money there over the years, so this was especially disappointing. I understand stores have policies, but there is no excuse for treating a customer rudely when they are simply trying to resolve an issue with damaged merchandise they just purchased. Unfortunately, this experience has made me seriously reconsider shopping at this location again. Management should be setting the example for good customer service--not making customers feel like an inconvenience for bringing back merchandise that was sold broken.
