I love love love the way my hair turned out. I asked for a balayage and a very small trim. My hair was last dyed almost a year ago (left photo) which is why it looks pretty ragged. Naomi was so nice. I asked for an appointment early in the morning and she was able to fit me in last minute in the afternoon. There was no wait, so once I walked in she immediately got to work. Literally just left the salon with a smile on my face and now writing this review. Recently moved back in to the area and Needed a hair cut as I hadn't been able to keep up with self care/ maintenance since having back to back kids. Looked far and wide for a local salon and reached out to Naomi. She has a quick turnaround for messaging and inquiries and I was able to get a weekend appointment (within 2 days of my inquiry). We scheduled, she texted me with confirmation appointment. The location is a shared salon space and it's convenient, right on first street above one house bakery (I'm not sure if there's an elevator). Went in for 11am appt and she was ready for me, no wait time even though I believe she had another client who was having coloring done. She had me sit and we talked about what I wanted for my hair. She walked me over to the hair wash station and I Got a nice head massage while getting my hair washed, nice conversation during my appointment, and she did exactly what I wanted. Cut off 5 inches and long layers all around. Love the outcome of my hair: itis nice, soft, and bouncy again. Will be back again and will definitely share her information with friends and family. I had my hair done by Naomi today and I absolutely love it! I asked for an ashy balayage with a hair cut to layer my heavy long hair. She was very responsive when making the reservation, and I was able to make the reservation through text. The salon is a cute little place on the second floor. It took about 3.5 hours from start to finish. They didn't take shortcuts, and they made sure I was satisfied with the haircut. They recommended after treatment care and sent me home with shampoo and conditioner with instructions on how to maintain the balayage. The vibe was relaxing. Now, let's talk about Naomi's craft. She is so friendly and talks you through what she's doing and what she recommends. She doesn't push products on you which is always nice. I had seen Naomi for a root touch up back in August. At that appointment, I showed her a picture of how I wanted my haircolor in the future and she said it was a balayage and she was able to do it. So we set an appt for the balayage on 9/29. The balayage appt turned out to be a disaster. The end result was nothing like the picture I brought in. As soon as she removed the towel, I told her it's way too dark & didn't look like a balayage. She insisted that it was going to get lighter after a few washes, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt . Two weeks later it was still way too dark and still looked nothing like the inspiration photo. I finally just had to go to a different salon to get it fixed. (See attached photos) Side note: My pants were also damaged with bleach but Naomi did reimburse me for that. read more

I was so ready for a change to my medium, shoulder length hair that was just plain black. I've been having my roots dyed but the contrast to my incoming grays, it was getting pretty tired.
