Asked for magenta/red color and cover my grey/silver roots. Naomi and Susan delivered!!! The salon is clean, relaxed and chill vibe. What I love about coming here is the efficiency of the stylists. My hair was exactly what I asked for and very vibrant. I got many compliments with my hair. I was impressed with the speed in which these ladies work without sacrificing quality!! I have a ton of hair and it's very coarse and difficult to manage. I have spent HOURS to a WHOLE DAY at other salons for mid to poor quality work, but when these ladies are working they cut the time in half. After moving into a new area, I needed to find a new hairstylist and I'm so glad that I had found Naomi. She was easy to reach out to and we communicated through text after messaging through Yelp. She was able to fit me in her schedule within 2 days when I was expecting to wait at least a week! I was relieved. I love how she did my hair. I showed her a picture and she was able to replicate it so well. She even gave me advice in how to style my hair. Naomi did an amazing job with my hair. For a long time my hair was dyed black (box dye) and for a big family wedding I really needed a change. I wanted to keep my hair looking healthy and Naomi did my hair keeping this in mind. She was very fast and efficient and did exactly what she thought would make me look fresh and more youthful. This review is long overdue. I have been coming to Naomi since 2020 to get my hair done/toned as well as haircuts. She does a really great job and is very detailed. She is also really responsive and always fits me in right away. She also sends updates if there is an earlier opening for whatever reason. Naomi is always honest and tells you whether what you are looking for is achievable and how many sessions will be required for lightening, etc. Every time she does my hair I always get tons of compliments. While in the salon I have seen many people with gorgeous end results for her other clients. I love love love the way my hair turned out. I asked for a balayage and a very small trim. My hair was last dyed almost a year ago (left photo) which is why it looks pretty ragged. Naomi was so nice. I asked for an appointment early in the morning and she was able to fit me in last minute in the afternoon. There was no wait, so once I walked in she immediately got to work. She only worked on me at the time, which put all her focus on making sure I get what I want. She also finished dying, wash and toning, and styling in only 2 hours!! I was doing my research on Yelp for someone to do my haircut. After extent research I came across Naomi Yelp. I reached out to her for a quote on haircut and immediately I was able to get an appointment with her! Especially... during covid time. I was pregnant at the time she did my haircut and I was very happy with leaving her salon with my new hairstyle! 2 months later ... now that I given birth I reached out to Naomi to do my hair color. I texted her and she got me in her soonest. I am especially happy with my hair color! Balayage style! I love that she also takes Venmo! Which is super convenient for me. She's also located in Benicia. It is quite the drive for me but so worth the hair do! I highly recommend Naomi if you're looking for cut and color. I had my hair done by Naomi today and I absolutely love it! I asked for an ashy balayage with a hair cut to layer my heavy long hair. She was very responsive when making the reservation, and I was able to make the reservation through text. The salon is a cute little place on the second floor. It took about 3.5 hours from start to finish. They didn't take shortcuts, and they made sure I was satisfied with the haircut. They recommended after treatment care and sent me home with shampoo and conditioner with instructions on how to maintain the balayage. I recently moved to this area and was looking for a new hair salon. Needless to say I'll be back. read more

Literally just left the salon with a smile on my face and now writing this review. Recently moved back in to the area and Needed a hair cut as I hadn't been able to keep up with self care/ maintenance since having back to back kids. Looked far and wide for a local salon and reached out to Naomi. She has a quick turnaround for messaging and inquiries and I was able to get a weekend appointment (within 2 days of my inquiry). We scheduled, she texted me with confirmation appointment. The location is a shared salon space and it's convenient, right on first street above one house bakery (I'm not sure if there's an elevator). Went in for 11am appt and she was ready for me, no wait time even though I believe she had another client who was having coloring done. She had me sit and we talked about what I wanted for my hair. She walked me over to the hair wash station and I Got a nice head massage while getting my hair washed, nice conversation during my appointment, and she did exactly what I wanted. Cut off 5 inches and long layers all around. Love the outcome of my hair: itis nice, soft, and bouncy again. Will be back again and will definitely share her information with friends and family. Love my new hair!! The process was a lot quicker than I was expecting and done the right way! I didn't initially know what I had wanted when I showed up for my appointment, however Naomi and her colleague were able to create something new and exciting for me :) I showed two reference pics and they took it from there. Naomi was wonderful! I was in need of a new hair stylist and I found one in Naomi! First, street parking was easy to find. The hair salon is upstairs. No elevator but there aren't too many stairs and they're painted so cool! Wish I would've gotten a photo of them. Second, the inside of the salon is so cute! Think old timey ladies hair salon. The vibe was relaxing. Now, let's talk about Naomi's craft. She is so friendly and talks you through what she's doing and what she recommends. She doesn't push products on you which is always nice. Nobody likes being pressured to purchase products from anywhere. She makes doing hair look so easy! She was helping a few other people while I was there which was perfectly okay because I never felt like I was unattended. Good prices as well. As my hair is long and I was going lighter it was $320 for the service. Of course I left a good tip as well! Thank you Naomi! read more

I had seen Naomi for a root touch up back in August. At that appointment, I showed her a picture of how I wanted my haircolor in the future and she said it was a balayage and she was able to do it. So we set an appt for the balayage on 9/29. The balayage appt turned out to be a disaster. The end result was nothing like the picture I brought in. As soon as she removed the towel, I told her it's way too dark & didn't look like a balayage. She insisted that it was going to get lighter after a few washes, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt . Two weeks later it was still way too dark and still looked nothing like the inspiration photo. I finally just had to go to a different salon to get it fixed. (See attached photos) Side note: My pants were also damaged with bleach but Naomi did reimburse me for that. read more

I was so ready for a change to my medium, shoulder length hair that was just plain black. I've been having my roots dyed but the contrast to my incoming grays, it was getting pretty tired. After researching a few places, I wanted to find someone who had really good reviews and pictures to prove it. Naomi was available via text and she answered immediately the questions I had I regards to balayage on top of current color. I didn't want to schedule without knowing what to expect. After a few text exchanges, I was confident my hair was in good hands. When I went to my appointment, we spoke a little more about my goals and she explained a little more about root color, balayage and toner. Three hours in the salon, making sure my phone doesn't die and flipping thru magazines, it was finally done and I was so giddy and excited about my new hair color! Been searching for a solid stylist in the area the last five years and found Naomi. She has great hair herself, which is always telling. She listened to what I felt was wrong about my current cut and did a beautiful job getting my hair balanced (ie bangs were too heavy, blending was not equally framing my face on both sides). She took her time but was still fast and efficient. Love the space, as it feels like a large salon but is rather quiet and private because it's not full. After going to multiple different stylists, and constantly being told that I needed to come in for multiple processes because my hair is either too dark and not taking the products normally, or that my hair is "too straight," I decided to look for somebody that had experience with Asian hair. I came to Naomi last year and have continued to come in regularly. On my first visit, she fixed my hot mess of hair on my head, and the following visits, she has always delivered EXACTLY what I've been wanting all along. She's fast, communicative, will fit you into her busy schedule promptly, friendly, and will happily explain her process and soothe any anxiety you may have. I will never let another person touch my hair ever again. I have even started bringing my mom in for appts after she was so self-conscious from losing her hair due to chemo, and her hair is now growing back differently than it ever has. She worked miracles on my hair color! She fixed the overall color and added balayage highlights. The only critiques I would give is she missed my grays in the front (near my face) and left my hair feeling dry. I was able to fix the dryness with a few hair masks at home. Naomi saved my hair!!…read more I had a terrible haircut by another salon and was in desperate need to find a new hair stylist that I was reaching out to different salons in the area. My layers were so short and my hair got thinned out. I didn't even ask for that style of haircut. It was so frayed. The layers were so choppy. If I pulled hair from both sides of my head neither of the lengths would be even. So bad!!! Naomi was the first to respond and the first choice I wanted so I booked with her! She was able to get me in the next day after the terrible haircut experience. Upon walking in she greeted me with so much warmth and I just immediately trusted her with my hair. She was able to cut my hair short to even out the work the previous salon did but told me to come back in 3 months to allow my hair to grow to get a recut. I made another appointment with her 2 months in because I was tired of waking up and hating my hair. She immediately responds. During my 2nd appointment with her we both agreed to go shoulder length short. I absolutely love my hair now. Naomi really knows what she's doing and I'm so glad I found somebody I can trust with my hair going forward. Plus she is so nice! And her hair is great too haha. I haven't ever been put under a heat lamp before but it seemed to really speed up the process. I also got the brightness I wanted without the brassy undertones. However, my hair has never been more dried out. My boyfriend has been rubbing coconut oil in it for me and that will help for a couple days before he does it again. Which I really enjoy him doing, but do not enjoy the tangles that come with dry hair. Perhaps next visit I'll plan an earlier appointment and just wait it out while color sets and avoid the heat. But overall very happy! The salon is very cute too and I like the products she used!

Nobody rushed me with "hello what do you want" or shoved a color wall in my face before I even sat down. I actually felt like a person, not just another number to get in and out. It wasn't until I was sitting there that I realized how used to bad treatment I'd gotten. Other salons trained me without me even noticing, packed into a tiny space, treated like I'm on a conveyor belt, rushed out before my nails even had time to properly dry. I had honestly forgotten my time and my experience mattered. Delane's brought that back for me. The professionalism was on another level too. No games with the price going up if you don't tip in cash, which is honestly tacky and rude and tells you exactly how little they think of their customers. Nobody crowding me in next to three other people either. It was calm, it was peaceful, it actually felt relaxing instead of stressful. And the cleanliness. Towels were fresh, equipment looked properly cleaned, none of that murky blue water sitting in a dirty container that's clearly been there for who knows how long. Even the bathroom was clean, and that alone tells you a lot about how a place is really run. Once you go to Delane's and get treated with that kind of value and respect, you won't want to go back to anywhere else. And honestly, you shouldn't have to. Ask for Brandi.

The woman who did my toes was meticulous, careful, and really took her time. I got a French tip on my toes and it came out beautiful, so I decided to give them a try for a gel manicure as well. Unfortunately, the manicure was the complete opposite experience. The guy who did my nails was friendly, but the actual work just wasn't good. The whole manicure felt harsh and rough. The filing and shaping were not good, especially around the sidewalls of my nails. The shapes were inconsistent from nail to nail, and one nail was noticeably crooked. The polish application was also very sloppy, with extra polish on my cuticles, along the sides, and even underneath my nails. The top coat was uneven as well, and you could visibly see it on the nails. A few days later, two of my nails had already cracked, which was disappointing. Based on my experiences, I think they're good for pedicures, but if you're looking for a clean, detailed gel manicure, especially if you take care of your natural nails, I wouldn't recommend them. It seems like they may specialize more in acrylic or builder gel services. Unfortunately, the standard gel manicure just wasn't it for me.

I am tough customer since I had years of Japanese Straightening and had expectations. I was so lucky we found Naomi. I have abundant course dark hair with natural frizz. After my blowout with Naomi it's very soft, manageable, easy to dry and care for. This is why I invest in this service. Naomi saved my hair!!…read more I had a terrible haircut by another salon and was in desperate need to find a new hair stylist that I was reaching out to different salons in the area. My layers were so short and my hair got thinned out. I didn't even ask for that style of haircut. It was so frayed. The layers were so choppy. If I pulled hair from both sides of my head neither of the lengths would be even. So bad!!! Naomi was the first to respond and the first choice I wanted so I booked with her! She was able to get me in the next day after the terrible haircut experience. Upon walking in she greeted me with so much warmth and I just immediately trusted her with my hair. She was able to cut my hair short to even out the work the previous salon did but told me to come back in 3 months to allow my hair to grow to get a recut. I made another appointment with her 2 months in because I was tired of waking up and hating my hair. She immediately responds. During my 2nd appointment with her we both agreed to go shoulder length short. I absolutely love my hair now. Naomi really knows what she's doing and I'm so glad I found somebody I can trust with my hair going forward. Plus she is so nice! And her hair is great too haha. However, my hair has never been more dried out. My boyfriend has been rubbing coconut oil in it for me and that will help for a couple days before he does it again. Which I really enjoy him doing, but do not enjoy the tangles that come with dry hair. Perhaps next visit I'll plan an earlier appointment and just wait it out while color sets and avoid the heat.
