Naomi saved my hair!!…read more I had a terrible haircut by another salon and was in desperate need to find a new hair stylist that I was reaching out to different salons in the area. My layers were so short and my hair got thinned out. I didn't even ask for that style of haircut. It was so frayed. The layers were so choppy. If I pulled hair from both sides of my head neither of the lengths would be even. So bad!!! Naomi was the first to respond and the first choice I wanted so I booked with her! She was able to get me in the next day after the terrible haircut experience. Upon walking in she greeted me with so much warmth and I just immediately trusted her with my hair. She was able to cut my hair short to even out the work the previous salon did but told me to come back in 3 months to allow my hair to grow to get a recut. I made another appointment with her 2 months in because I was tired of waking up and hating my hair. She immediately responds. During my 2nd appointment with her we both agreed to go shoulder length short. I absolutely love my hair now. Naomi really knows what she's doing and I'm so glad I found somebody I can trust with my hair going forward. Plus she is so nice! And her hair is great too haha. I normally don't preschedule so I see multiple different hair stylists which may or may not be a good thing. I recently prescheduled an appointment and was running late so I gave a call to the salon. The woman on the phone was short and slightly obnoxious in that she was almost happy to tell me I would need to reschedule and still pay 100% for my cancellation. I did not cancel anything and it was a forced cancellation. I even asked if there was a late fee I could pay or reschedule it and only pay 50% for rescheduling fee since I've been a customer for so long but once again, she sounded happy to tell me no. I understand that being late is 100% my fault but I've also had to wait for my stylist for 10-15 mins when arriving on time so they are also not 100% punctual. This left a bitter taste in my mouth and I will unfortunately not be going back anymore.

I believe I was speaking with Shelilah. I let her know my past stylist had put my long bangs/face-framing layers on a side part and I wanted it fixed to be more in the middle plus a little bit shorter. I sent her pictures and she quoted me $20 and we set an appointment. The day/time of my appointment, I arrived and texted the business number to let them know I was there. I received a text back saying they had forgotten to put my appointment on the schedule and weren't able to help me that day. They asked to reschedule, which was a bummer since I was leaving that evening for my trip but not the end of the world. We rescheduled for when I got back a week later. The next week, 20min before my appointment, I texted the business number again to confirm I was still coming to my appointment. I got a text back saying the stylist scheduled to take care of me that day had called in sick and no one else was available to help me. It was unclear who I had been scheduled with since I thought I had booked with Shelilah from the beginning. Shelilah asked if i could come in tomorrow instead and she would help me. I was surprised that I wasn't notified that my appointment was canceled. What if I hadn't texted in advance to let them know I was still coming and just showed up?. But again, not the end of the world and Shelilah said the trim would be complimentary. The next day, I got a text a few hours before my appointment asking if i could come in 2 hours early. I said I could do that and I arrived for my service. I felt I was treated as a nuisance/chore during my visit. I spent maybe five minutes in the chair, and when I was unsure I was happy about how the trim looked, Shelilah let me know anything more would be considered a full hair cut. After that remark I got up and left. I would have tipped if I had felt happy with the service but I ended up feeling unwelcome. When I got home and looked at my bangs in the mirror, they looked choppy and uneven. I texted pictures of my hair to a friend of mine who is also a hair stylist and she ended up fixing them for me. If she lived closer I would have gone with her in the first place, because wow they look so much better now! I was hoping to have found a great salon in my area that I would return to for future appointments, but the lack of customer service and poor cut made me not want to go back. I'm sure other stylists there are good, but I will be looking elsewhere since Shelilah is the owner and I had a poor experience with her. I would have preferred they let me know they weren't wanting to do such a small service rather than taking me and making me feel like a bother. I feel no matter how small the service you should treat every customer like they are important.

I really appreciated that she took her time to make sure we both agreed on the shape and she even applied extra products to help with redness that I told her I typically deal with after waxing. I definitely recommend her expertise to anyone also dealing with uneven brows or looking for a brow artist in Solano County!

I can't say enough about how awesome Ashley is. She listens to what I'm looking for and offers her suggestions when I'm not exactly sure what will work for my hair. I've been going to Ashley for years, and she's done it all for me: a simple trim, a complete change (long to super short), color, you name it! She makes the whole experience such a treat and has helped talk me through the best kind of color for me, shampoo I should use at home, and how to style my hair. I got a balayage and cut by Kelsey on 1/6 and she was amazing!! My previous stylist from a different salon cancelled on me last minute and Kelsey was able to get me in the next day. This was my first time going to a new stylist in about 8 years and she was very welcoming and helped ease my anxiety. Their salon is super cute and they offered something to drink while my hair was processing. Overall, it was such a great experience and I will continue to going back to her for my hair! read more

I could get my hair cut almost anywhere. That's not why I've been going to Ashley for years. She's the whole package. Great expertise, genuine listening, and a hug, too! I showed her my inspiration photo on my phone, and instead of politely asking to take a closer look, she snatched it right out of my hand and walked away without a word to view it under different lighting. Maren enthusiastically spent an additional hour adding more toner and perfecting my hair. She payed attention to the fine details and left no hair unnoticed!
